I think all of it can be solved if you just removed the option to get rid of Servers showing up on BattleMetrics. Why does it show up? And perhaps game chat not existing. I'm not genius here, but I think it makes it tough for small, medium, and large streamers to play this game without stream sniping. Hell, even my friend who barely gets viewers got stream sniped by a cheater. Thankfully at that time we were on modded and could contact an admin immediately with our proof of him swimming up the side of our base.
More streamers playing the game organically = more exposure for the game and more money (since money is obviously important).
I watch some other rust streamers sometimes and they all deal with it. I think the amount of effort you have to put in for it, is kinda crazy. I feel like personally Rust is extremely immersive and having game chat to ask for raids or to rat out where streamer X's base is at is dumb. I really dislike it. You shouldn't get info that you don't see or hear for yourself.
I am just curious what you guys think about the whole stream sniping ordeal on this game as it is incredibly easy, and not fun at all to deal with.
edit: I love the game and even I would not stream this game if I was in any streamers shoes.
