In STII TWOK, when Sulu locked phasers quietly in the Reliant, how did Reliant not know this? Did Sulu do something unusual or was Reliant's crew just (being a bunch of hijackers) not knowledgeable enough to spot this?

Enterprise knew when Reliant was locking phasers. So why would Reliant not be aware when Enterprise locked phasers? Was this just a risk, as in they hoped Reliant's bridge crew would not see this? Or did Sulu do something crafty to avoid detection of this move?

The Sultanate of Oopsie, or How to screw up an Ironman run with one errant click.

Hey guys, I think I know the answer, but I feel compelled to ask because I don't wanna lose all my progress, and in case there's literally anything I can do to fix this, I wanna know.

I am currently doing a Najd -> Arabia run to pick up the Jihad and Sworn Fealty achievements, and maybe even the Dar al-Islam achievement as well.

The year is 1535, I am cleaning up my gains from leading the Ottomans to war with the Mamluks, I own everything on the Arabian Peninsula that's not the E corner & coast (allied with Hormuz early, and had more pressing issues than sweeping Aden & Mahra) as well as all of the farmlands in Iraq. I'm doing really well, and I get an event pop up. I could gain 15 prestige, or trigger an event in Ottomans. My current prestige is pretty high (20+) so I think what the heck, I'll trigger the event. A month or so later, I get a pop-up forcing my government to change to Monarchy.

It was Sultanate of Najd. That's a problem, as Sworn Fealty requires me to be a Tribal Federation. So I save scum, close out of the game, open up, go to my backup.... And it's the same date as my original file. The game just backed up. I don't know of any way to revert from Monarchy to Tribal Federation, so... Yep. Guess it's time to restart!

So, friends, conquerors, brilliant minds of r/Eu4 - let this be a lesson; always read your event pop-ups. And in case someone knows a way to revert from a Monarchy to a Tribal Federation... Please let me know.

Is there any possibility of a Captain Sulu series starring John Cho after the CBS/Viacom merger?

Ever since I watched ST VI as a child I always wanted to see what kind of adventures Sulu had as captain of the Excelsior. And now with the merger, it seems possible. The other actors from the Abrams universe could also make a guest star appearance reprising their roles here and there throughout the series. It could be a way of continuing the Abrams universe without having to do big budget features for the theater.

Thoughts? (Strong) opinions?

[REQUEST] New Flag for the Sultanate of Pattani

Hello everyone :) I am planning to do a Pattani campaign in Europa Universalis IV but I am quite disappointed with their flag as it is very similar to Indonesia's

Can someone design a new flag for them that reflects their history and position as a powerful trading entity that was located between Siam and Melaka?

Thanks in advance!
