A list of puns related to "Sulfate reducing microorganism"
Iron sulfide nanoparticles (FeS NPs) mediate bacterial extracellular electron uptake from solid electron donors. In their Research Article (DOI: https://doi.org/10.1002/anie.20191519610.1002/anie.201915196), A. Okamoto and coβworkers demonstrate that selfβsynthesized FeS NPs on the cell surface enable sulfateβreducing bacteria to extract electrons from electrodes coupled with metabolic activation. The result sheds light on the biogeochemical cycling of carbon, iron, and sulfur and the anaerobic corrosion mechanism.

I'm trying to understand how different forms of bacterial metabolism work, but I'm getting muddled up.
To obtain energy (ATP) and fixed carbon, organisms require an energy source, an electron donor, and a carbon source.
For example;
In eukaryotic heterotrophs;
How does this process work in an organism (bacteria or archaea) that, for example, reduces sulphate or oxidizes sulfur?
Like Johnny Rico says, the only good bug is a dead bug.
I'm looking to identify several common species of SRB's that we'd typically find in a contaminated source of fresh or produced water, a frack pit, or anywhere water is stored and used in the oilfield and fracking industry. Then I want to kill them until they're dead.
I've reviewed a lot of the scientific literature, and so far I've seen the species Desulfovibrio vulgaris and Desulfovibrio desulfuricans identified frequently. I've also seen the genera Desulfotomaculum, Desulfobacter, Desulfobacterium, and Halanaerobium mentioned frequently, but I'm not finding mention of or consensus on specific species within those genera.
Can anyone point me to knowledge or an expert in this area? I'm gonna cross post to the biology subreddits as well.
Thanks in advance.
So Iβve come across this substance called Agmatine Sulfate, that is normally used by body builders to get more vascular pumps (it helps increase NO2 in the bloodstream), but apparently it also has the added benefit of supposedly potentiating certain drugs as well as reducing tolerance, including with cannabis.
Does anyone here have any experience using Agmatine Sulfate to potentiate cannabis and/or reduce tolerance?
Iβm coming off a month-long t-break, and I would love if there was an easy way to reduce tolerance so I wouldnβt have to smoke the same amount of herb to achieve the same high.
There are billions of them everywhere and it is impossible to mine blocks as attempting to do so will target a microorganism instead.

I'm really intrigued by this chemical.
Saw some too good to be true reviews here and there. Some people swear by it and it looks very good on the paper so I'm wondering : Why is this not popular yet ?
Honestly, was your experience with it, dosage etc. ?
I'm struggling to find consistent reviews.
I want to specify that I'm not looking for any scientific research, just pure anecdotal report.
Best.
