You have him to thank for my daily posts on the Theology of the Body. In the grand scheme of all of his impact to the Church, TOB is in his top 10, but he did so many other amazing things in his life that putting it higher would almost certainly be incorrect.

The Universe [Catholic] 25 experiment is one of the most grim experiments in history, which through the behavior of a colony of mice, is an attempt to explain Catholic (Universal) societies: the world.

Invented by American Lay-Gesuit Spiritual Coadjutor, John Calhoun, who created an “ideal [Catholic] world” in which hundreds of mice would live and reproduce. Building the so-called “Paradise of Mice,” a specially designed space where rodents had an abundance of food and water, as well as a large living space. "Well, I've been here since last night... Yesterday evening, I was sitting in my living room chair and my wife came up behind me and put her hands over my eyes and asked, 'Guess who?' I pulled her hands off, and there she was, wearing a nightie. She took my hand and pulled me into our bedroom. She's been reading '50 Shades of Grey' and the room had candles and rose petals all over. On the bed she had handcuffs, and ropes! She told me to tie her up and cuff her to the bed, so I did. Then she said, "Do whatever you want. So, here I am!"

Hi! We are finally HERE! I’ve posted here a few times before about our dreams & plans for moving to St. John’s (from the USA) and weve done it! Yay! Now we’re sitting around in quarantine and daydreaming about what we’ll do as soon as soon as we’re free to explore our new city. Most days it’ll be just me and two small kids, so it needs to be kid friendly. I have lots of ideas but not sure where to begin… I’d love to hear what other people think! What’s the FIRST thing you’d want to do here, if you were brand new to the city?

Is signal hill too much walking for a 4-year-old and 6-year-old? What’s the best playground in town? Most beautiful spot for a picnic? Are there any summer camps or fun classes we can sign up for? Kid-friendly cafes? Best neighborhood to wander around and explore with kiddos? Rainy day outings?
