A list of puns related to "Squeeze discography"
This is a random post but I've been thinking about Blackpink a lot in 2021. Although I stopped following them back in 2018 after the D4 craze, I think about them regularly.
I have seen many posts throughout the year about Blackpink on reddit about how blinks are getting tired of waiting. That's not new of course, but after the 4+1 project, the RosΓ© and Lisa solos, everyone seemed ready for an OT4 comeback. But we're reaching mid-december and still nothing. Even as a non-fan it feels frustrating to have to wait for them.
In 2020, blinks were so happy with the amount of content they were getting. But this year feels so different! Sometimes it feels like Blackpink have comebacks to make fans happy but this year nothing and the fandom is growing more and more desperate. YG wants money but at the same time, they are greedy because they are so restrictive when it comes to Blackpink's music, even though they remain idols at the end of the day.
It's insane to think about the fact that after 5 years Blackpink only has 20 songs. And to think that December is going to end and Blackpink would have released no music. Because I don't see YG squeezing a Blackpink comeback between Christmas and New year's.
With how popular the Blackpink formula is, I don't see YG/Teddy changing it up. I also doubt they're going to drop another full album in 2022 considering how scarce YG group's musical releases are. It's unfortunately probably going to be a 4/5 songs mini album. The direction Blackpink is going is frustrating and I unfortunately think that by the time they reach the end of their contract, they are going to have less than 40 songs.
It really makes one wonder "what is going on?". This year, so much happened: Red Velvet came back, Next Level was a hit, popular groups were having their comebacks, Twice had a full album, NCT 2021, Rollin became a hit 4 years after release... and Blackpink just wasn't part of that. Hell, Treasure YG's new boy group, is nowhere to be found as well. I know the girls are making a lot of money with their brand deals, but most fans know them or got into Kpop thanks to their music. It's a shame their discography is so small.

Background
Czarface is a group consisting of DJ and producer 7L, Wu-Tangβs Inspectah Deck, and perpetually underappreciated rapper Esoteric. We canβt really dive into the history of Czarface without diving into the history of its members so letβs begin with 7L and Esoteric. Back in the early 90s, Esoteric was DJing for a college radio station that 7L happened to listen to. The set was so good that 7L, who was also DJing in the area, decided to reach out for a collaboration and thus the duo was born. Before they hit their final form, they teamed up with little known rapper MC Karma under the name God Complex. The subsequent singles they released were met with acclaim in the underground and already featured the zany bars and comic book references that would define their later work. Shortly after their first EP, they dropped the moniker God Complex and released their following projects simply as 7L and Esoteric. I could bore you with the details of every single and album release but I donβt think it would better your understanding of the group or the album weβre highlighting today so weβll move onto the illustrious Inspectah Deck.
As most of you probably know, Inspectah Deck is arguably Wu-Tang Clanβs most lyrically talented MC and is responsible for some of the most iconic verses in hip hop history; namely his verse on C.R.E.A.M. Heβs always been pretty understated; especially in comparison to some of the Wuβs most prominent members, but that hasnβt stopped him from garnering an extremely loyal fan base over the years. Itβs difficult to exaggerate the impact that he and the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan had on the world of music. I could talk forever about them but I donβt want to stray too far from the focus of this writeup so Iβll leave it at that.
Czarface officially came together back in 2013 for a one off project that was meant to be nothing more than some good music for the fans. The self-titled Czarface released to widespread critical acclaim so the group decided theyβd make another one and the rest is history.
Now last but not least we need to talk about Daniel Dumile AKA MF DOOM. D

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Howdy! Welcome to Day 13 of the r/indieheads Album of the Year 2021 Write-Up Series, our annual event where we showcase pieces from some of our favorite writers on the subreddit talking about their favorite records of the year! Today, we have u/SRTViper discussing the new one from Fishboy, Waitsgiving!

Background by /u/SRTviper:
Fishboy was officially assembled by frontman Eric βFishboyβ Michener in the year 2000 as a small group of teens with a twee dream. After a string of loose demos they released their first official album in 2003. Reminiscent of other twee acts of the time such as Tullycraft and BOAT; Zipbangboom was silly, nonsensical, and basically a long string of non-sequiturs. There were some fragments of stories being told but nothing but absurdness connected the tweeful tracks.
It wasnβt until their third album in 2007, Albatross: (I might add the full title if I need to pad out this thing), that Fishboy really came into their own and started making what we all crave: Twee rock opera concept albums. Albatross was sweet and whimsical following a fictionalized version of Fishboy on his quest to save Texas with the power of underground twee, funded by bank robbery, and perpetrated under the omnipotent influence of Buddy Holly's ghost. To this day Albatross is probably the closest thing to a hit the band has seen, garnering a few local reviews and a handful of blog posts. Albatross set the groundwork for all the bandβs albums moving forward, being whimsical character driven rock operas.
Since albatross, Fishboy has continued to craft wonderfully silly twee operas and playing local gigs in the tight nit Denton TX indie scene. His sixth album, 2017βs Art Guards, follows the lives of nine artists, each with their own struggles with expression. Each song is spent with one character. As they grow and develop their art we see the connections they hold with artists in the surrounding tracks. At the climax of the record all the artists come together to beat the shit out of each other, but ultimately gain s

Radioheadβs OK Computer (1997)
>Summer 1997. I was in a very strange place at this time. I was more famous than Iβd ever been due to the recent release of Ridinβ Dirty. I was also in the first year of the relationship with my now-wife Queenie. So there was a lot of professional as well as personal stress on me. I couldnβt find anything to relax me. Then one night, watching MTV, I saw the βParanoid Androidβ video. Suddenly, for some reason, this calm washed over me. It seemed like this song was speaking to me. I bought the album the next day and everything about it made sense. While very dense and layered at times, it was still very melodic and easy to listen to. And a lot of what they spoke about then still resonates to this day. So even now, when life starts moving too fast, OK Computer is still there to help slow it down for me.

Quasimotoβs The Unseen (2000)
>The summer of 2000 was a high point for AC. Creatively, we were at the start of what would become our most free and exploratory era and on the cusp of a journey that continues today. It seems almost serendipitous that The Unseen appeared just before the summer kicked into full gear and became our soundtrack. It was lo-fi, it was mysterious, it was part sound collage, part hook-ridden hip-hop, and part mushroom trip. (Rumors circulated that Madlib mixed the whole thing while tripping.)
>We felt a kinship with the record-digger personality who could easily sample Alice Coltraneβs free piano and place it beside the soundtrack to La PlanΓ¨te Sauvage, making it all groove while still being a bit unhinged. It was transportive and alien but also grounded and familiar in the traditions of jazz, rap, and psychedelic music that it adhered to. It gleamed in so many of the ways we wanted to present AC: mysterious characters from another world who would infect the current trends with our own personalities and something a bit different. Never wanting to be copycats, we just hoped we could make something as personal and special. We still do.

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
βIn order to have that incredible groove that makes you dream, you have to think not of the groove, but of the dream.β -Mike Gordon
βI'll play it first and tell you what it is later.β -Miles Davis
βI'm not crazy about country-western music. But the lyrics are good.β -Alice Cooper
During various points of my life, I was either actively learning/playing trumpet or making music using the limited instrumental inventory and software available to me. Sadly, I've never had the experience of collaborating with other people, let alone improvising music in the solo or collective sense. I am fascinated by artists who specialize in playing jazz, jam band, or improv/free music, because it's something I envy and would love to try my hand at. It feels like speaking a different kind of language with other people; being lost in this constantly evolving interplay and development must be like nothing else on Earth. Although I don't know John Dwyer personally, I can safely assume he feels the same, given his increasing appreciation and participation in jamming and improvisations. Sure, evidence of his affinity goes back to at least 2010's forgotten Sword & Sandals release, but it was only with Mutilator Defeated At Last that studio albums started to reflect his love for setting the controls for the heart of the sun, or hitchiking on a krautrock convoy, lost in the reverie of a serene velocity down the Autobahn. Once we were through listening to Smote Reverser for the first time, we had confirmation that the next few years would continue to provide some tasty jams. And so, during their Red Rocks performance in 2021, when he announced before 'Scutum & Scorius', β...this one's for all the Heads out there, smoke 'em if ya got 'emβ, it felt like the first time that we (Dwyer and the audience) were no longer just winking at each other for liking this kind of lengthy spectacle and drug-friendly-but-not-required music. It was open season.
If there's one release in their discography that has come to define βthis one's for all the [Osees] Heads out thereβ for me, it's Weirdo Hairdo, a three song (!), 41 minute long (!!) not-quite-album, not-quite-EP, that is longer than most previous Osees albums, including Protean Threat. Ah, but I digress. Weirdo Hairdo was released on December 17th, 2020, available physically only as a limited edition 'Pilsner' vinyl pressing. The Castleface site describes it as a limited edition 12β, and refers to there being four songs, wh
