Was playing Reignited and thinking about Activision sleazing microtransactions into CTR when it all clicked.
Moneybags represents Activision, or any other major game publisher, an entity designed to nickel and dime players, mostly children, out of money to progress through the games while being as annoying and corrupt as possible.
Spyro represents the player (duh), someone who’s forced to deal with Moneybags shit for the love of the adventure while greeting him with nothing but sarcasm and contempt, and using every small opportunity to stick it to him.
Insomniac, you mad bastards!

I’m just pointing out that, through a modern lens, it could be viewed that way.

How i can make more progress faster? I want to get all the Unlockables and especially unlock Spyro the Dragon very fast!
It's well known that Copeland didn't compose the entire Spyro: Year of the Dragon soundtrack by himself(unlike 1, 2 and Enter the Dragonfly). Instead he had assistance of Ryan Beveridge and certainly Spyro 3 have a different sounding tracks compared to the other games. A few tracks like "Charmed Ridge" and "Cloud Spires" have that old Copeland style, which leds me to believe he definitely did those 2. So what do you guys think?
Good afternoon everyone, I hope you can help me because I am desperate.
I wish I could play Spyro 3 again because it has given me a shot to relive my childhood. The thing is that I have tried to use the original copy that I have at home, but it does not go beyond the Playstation logo because it is already super-shiny. I have tried to copy it with imgburn to a blank CD, but I could not because even the program gives me a reading error of 99% (well, reading or so I imagine, you have a screenshot of what comes out below: https: // www .leawo.org / tutorial / wp-content / uploads / 2018/10 / error.png
The thing is that I have thrown away to find an image on the internet and burn it, but I did not know what I was getting into: it turns out that Spyro 3 has the most damned copy system I have ever seen in my life, and it works in two ways:
• The first way is that you can get to Sheila's level. If you enter the level, it crashes and you cannot continue.
• The second way is: you can access all the levels, but when you finish the first area, the fairy Zoe appears and warns you that the copy is pirated. As of this moment, the game is an unplayable jumble of bugs, it takes away your progress and, in the end, erases all the data during the final boss combat and takes you to level 1.
So, the game is impossible to play from the back up (although curiously in ePSXe they work perfectly, they skip the anti-piracy system without problem).
Doing a little more research, I have discovered that, within pal and ntsc there are two versions (pal comes in all languages and American only in English):
Version 1.0: It is the game with the anti piracy system
Version 1.1: It is the same game but with bug fixes and song changes, modifying some and adding new ones. This version receives in America the name "greatest hits" and in Europe "Platinum". In theory, these versions COME WITHOUT THE ANTI-PIRACY SYSTEM AND CAN BE PLAYED ON PS1. Also, the original version that I have is the Platinum.
I have literally kicked around the internet looking for a version that works for me on the PS1. All the links that theoretically worked (because I remember that many years ago I downloaded the game from those videos, I burned it and they worked on the same PS1 perfectly, from what I deduce that they would be Platinum), have fallen (they are from megaupload and others).
