Buying Political Influence in the UK? πŸ’° Evidence Shows Ken Griffin Effectively Gave GBP 1M to a Member of UK Parliament 🏰 Is it a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Violation? Untangling the web of Ken Griffin’s Citadel Empire πŸ‘€

I will skip my usual intro about my investigation of Ken Griffin and his Citadel Empire and get straight to the point: I have found evidence showing Ken Griffin effectively gave GBP 1M to a Lord of the UK Parliament.

Let me introduce you to a company called Dalbini Limited.

Dalbini Limited was incorporated in the UK on March 6, 2020. At the time of incorporation Dalbini Limited had a single director and shareholder, Lord Howard of Rising, who put in GBP 1,000 to start the company.

Who is Lord Howard of Rising? His full name is Greville Patrick Charles Howard, and he is a member of the UK Parliament’s House of Lords. His family has been around a long time.

Here is a pic of Castle Rising so you don’t have to Google it:

**Dalbini Limited’**s filings can be found on the UK Companies House website here. I will walk you through the key events.

After incorporation the next key event occurred on September 29, 2020 when [a resolution was passed](https://s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/document-api-images-live.ch.gov.uk/docs/y33LcNM9mOEGSxHCQJHe3irq2Z9gF3idwsD3IFcpYug/application-pdf?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Credential=ASIAWRGBDBV3LRG2DAHA%2F20220121%2Feu-west-2%2Fs3%2Faws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20220121T062500Z&X-Amz-Expires=60&X-Amz-Security-Token=IQoJb3JpZ2luX2VjEP7%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F%2FwEaCWV1LXdlc3QtMiJGMEQCICouY3254yDGMdaQYmLhVkYRLKLivvtEmMLtWrdSQhklAiBvhUzs1hcV62v5MIgtyqNml3eU4yAQ95Vd7%2F0UGHgUpSr6AwgnEAQaDDQ0OTIyOTAzMjgyMiIM8m1VneIsyzHNnHtEKtcDpKxUOLVw1zlh1UWo44PaZXitvUQlShaK1gwz%2FEO%2FTjea5Rz5tCdschfzmnw8duACPjRx3EFWMMMhVRCWqF%2BZau9rvTrIpoOdqMcUxpScsYUPtb7URijrT3TjYoim%2BHJd25BqCWD6V3FUgUb4HfTAeUSSccWSP0ur7ctP%2Fpf75QJuq3qAgdVKKIMmODs497q0s77zqgnSEtCgPW9%2FDeAfxkZ31WrRi4P86zds5RYSFDufoZdrPVc1EhFJz6N7v5EXMy6AtIrf2pfsXNSIONO%2BTU7XsG5suxUtUZizNz6hhYeSFU03DTd1Ef8FE1vFIRkVYbQO%2B24ng5Uu6THkOVihQYsZCvOS1IpwCGNls%2BXd8YpPbi61q9V%2BgUBbPi%2Bf62a7i2oUBH0Rdrth0hEAkfsV1fXbMa124sGNfJ%2FFlcVmJUmKLgNdUcVBKnBXdGSRL%2BTQ0WVCWhaAvpK1WIq01byZW0vFFvd1JjjU7vz8x4WHevax5SbRMZ8Mqyt4hAR34qd51%2FVY0yzZkTCfN0%2BqaMRa%2FEbwU3opizaik0HpUNJLMiPdXerCaAzO%2FM%2BC1Wn4kN

SERIOUS: This subreddit needs to understand what a "dad joke" really means.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

I was lucky. My best friend came back.

tl;dr: I was lucky. My best friend came back, and don't put this on a youtube compilation.

Keeping a couple of things vague because of identifying information, but this the comeback story of my brother from another mother. I'm just going to call him my brother from here on out. It's not going to be short, but trust me when I say this is condensed.

We've been good friends since our ages were in the single digits. I'm the outspoken charismatic impulsive one, he's the thoughtful analytic reserved one. He's a paragon of habit, I'm a beast of chaos. Despite these vast differences, we have a lot of common ground and we synch. We've been through thick and thin, you get the idea.

It was 2015, and eventually politics comes up. I think to myself "This should be safe, the guy has voted 3rd party all of his life." Nope. Sure he was talking about how much of a crook Hillary was, and I wasn't going to deny that, but then he started to talk about Trump being a paragon and managed to slide into how Brexit was also a good idea? Being shocked speechless is a true rarity for me.

It didn't get better like I hoped it would. He was going to rallies, he got the red hat of hate, his Facebook was becoming vastly xenophobic and a little racist. To check off this perverted bingo card was low level conspiracy theories and snake oil beliefs. People who knew us both were asking me "Did his Facebook get hacked? What's going on?" This change was basically the equivalent of wondering why your sweet Nana didn't make it to the church potluck and finding out it was because she was hungover from drinking everyone else at an orgy under the table.

It was because of one person who put him through the textbook wringer; forced dependency, kept under a microscope, isolate him from friends and family, financial burdening, etc. Oh, and this person was giddily waiting for his parents to die for identifiable reasons which I won't state. This individual is a real piece of shit. My friend was trapped and had become absolutely miserable. This allowed the teaching of the Qult to comfort and absolve him of his shame. This monster was gently leading my best friend down into the depths of ruin on a chained leash of abuse.

Because of the isolation, we spent very little time together. Luckily nothing Q-ish came out because we were too busy with catching up and enjoying our time together. Online and over texting was a different story. It was killing me to see him being replaced bit by bit, and I was trul

December 2021 Marks Six Years Since Netflix Debuted The Award Winning Documentary Making a Murderer And Millions Learned About Steven Avery, Brendan Dassey, Teres Halbach and Manitowoc County, Wisconsin.

https://preview.redd.it/k7mzgartik881.jpg?width=271&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1f34b2882e61a4726fd7268c8448b05e8a12acab

Reflecting back at what has been found since the debut of Making a Murderer I want to ask the reader this:

If someone was telling you about an event that occurred yet they are lying to you about where it happened, what they did while they were there, why they did those things and most importantly who they were doing it for would you believe anything they said about the event at all?

Taking a look at the disappearance of Teresa Halbach and some of the events in the investigation and trial process that resulted in the controversial murder convictions of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey reveals that the State of Wisconsin was at minimum deceptive and dishonest about everything that investigators found and did in the Teresa Halbach investigation and also in what was presented to the media, public and jury in 2005-2007. This deception has continued on in the post conviction.

As of today Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey remain imprisoned at separate correctional institutions in the state of Wisconsin. Brendan Dassey’s case has-as a result of the documentary ignited a long overdue discussion and more importantly the beginning of reforms in how juveniles are questioned and interrogated. Three states have enacted legislation regarding the interviewing and interrogations of juveniles. No matter what your belief in Brendan Dassey’s innocence or guilt I think everyone who watched the multiple interrogations conducted by Calumet County Investigator Mark Wiegert and Wisconsin DCI S/A Tom Fassbender agree that the officers at minimum lied to and manipulated Brendan to make statements that not only went against his best interest they were also total fabrications that evidence shows did not. happen

Jerome Buting and Dean Strang-the two highly regarded Wisconsin attorneys who represented Steven Avery at trial have both admitted that they were ineffective in his defense. Its undeniable that they were completely ineffective - if they had been effective defense attorneys for Steven he would not have been convicted of Teresa Halbach’s murder.

There are several key pieces of evidence that Buting and Strang either missed or more troubling were deceived by prosecutors about and also several pieces of evidence that post conviction testing by and additional investigation paid for by Steven Avery’s post conviction attorney Ka

(Capitalists) Can You Explain To Me What Freedom I Have?

So:

My childhood was spent at school, learning within an amtiquated system that was designed to produce factory workers and not give children any say in their education.

Upon leaving school I had the option of choosing a career. But my choices were limited to what was in demand, what jobs exist in my area, what jobs I'm physically capable of doing and what jobs I have access to training for. My choices in this regard were fairly narrow really.

Upon entering the world of work I find my choices are even narrower. Having chosen a career, I am now restricted to jobs within that field. Unless I can afford the time and financial commitment of retraining. My job choices are limited to what is avaliablenear me, what fits my schedule, what pays enough to live on and what workplaces I can socially fit into.

Once in a job, most aspects of it are completely out of my control. My rate of pay, holiday entitlement, sick pay, working conditions, performance expectations, break entitlement, uniform requirements, start and finish time etc. Are all out of my hands and most are subject to change should someone above me decide to change them. The people above me are there without any input from me. Meaning I have little to no power in controlling my work environment. Which is not great considering I spend 40+ hours a week there.

My choices if I decide I do not want these conditions are: move to a different job or try to take industrial action to enact change. The former is subject to all the restrictions that finding a job entails. The latter is a sure fire way to get yourself sacked unless a lot of your co-workers are also in support.

Changing jobs is often a dead end for real change. Given that it's more or less blind luck on whether you'll fit in or whether the people above you decide they don't like you. The core criticisms I pointed out are consistant across all jobs; the lack of any ability to control your working conditions.

I always have the choice to start my own workplace though right? Well, kinda? I'd need go have skills appropriate to starting a business, skills I'd have to get training in which cost time and money. I'd need start up capital to buy/rent a workspace, buy machinary etc. I'd need enough money to tide me over for the initial period of the company being unprofitable.

Getting money is difficult when every aspect of life attempts to squeeze money out of you. Food? Money. Bills? Money. Accomodation? Money. Transporting yourself to and from work

When do you know it's time to quit?

Throwaway here for obvious reasons, but I'm a fairly regular member of this community otherwise.

I'm having suicidal thoughts for the first time in my life. I'm not gonna do it and I have help. But this fucking job seems like a good portion of the cause.

I get a knot in my stomach when I think about going back to work in two weeks. A student emailed me today requesting a Zoom meeting tomorrow and I had a panic attack. A student contested a grade immediately after they were in and I decided not to respond until the new year, so I've been feeling nervous about it for weeks (responded today - it was fine). I looked at RMP and it wrecked me about a month ago. I can barely keep a lid on my anger when people waste my time and I can't even ask the obvious questions, like "Why are we so tolerant of committees that we all know do nothing?" without fear of getting fired.

I enjoy being in front of a classroom, but man everything else is just grinding me down. I spent all day today answering emails, mostly because half my department quit and I have had over 50 advisees for the last year and a half. I have a terrible bully in my department that admin won't do anything about. I published a monograph with a top press and I haven't even gotten a phone interview in 6 years. I have too much work to be doing anything else. And we're full steam ahead on in-person again this semester.

I'm about to get tenure and the idea of spending another year here, much less 30, is such a terrible thought. I always hoped I could get a job closer to my family. I feel like I've let my family down by never getting a job closer to them and I feel like a failure for being stuck at a mediocre SLAC.

At the same time, my wife gave up her career and life to follow me here. Her licensure has slipped and I don't think she wants to go through the motions of getting it back. So me quitting feels like I'm letting her down.

Thing is, I know I'm good at my job. And I used to like it. I don't know if I'll ever forgive my employer for the last 2 years.

I'm not overly optimistic that my skills are very valuable elsewhere. What do you do with a PhD in media theory?

Has anyone been here? Besides medication, how do you go on?

Edit to say: Wow. Thank you all for your empathy, advice, and support. I'm slowly trying to respond to all of you. I am still feeling emotionally shaky but I am a lot less dour than I was 24 hours ago. I'm also getting to work enacting your advice as much as I can.

The Hunter's Journey - ep 3.63 - Unpleasant history

Hi all, I just thought I’d give you all a little warming. I have been debating whether or not this episode needs an NSFW tag, but in the end I decided it wasn’t necessary according to the way I interpreted the sub’s rules, but still deserved a bit of a warning. There will be mentions of slavery and hints about some things that happened.

Book 1 / Book 2

First / Previous / Next | Wiki

-----------------------------

The group of six sat at home eating the breakfast Lafalla had made, with the exception of Irelea’rah who had chosen to eat her own food, which was a bowl of light blue paste that she quietly slurped down. James was tempted to ask to try some to see what it was like, but his experience of magical food and the general repulsiveness of the bowl easily dissuaded him. Since being allowed to stay in their home, Irelea’rah had been nothing but polite and quiet, staying by Ceralla’s side and waiting for any command that came her way, something that Ceralla rarely used, at least after two nights anyway.

β€œI'm curious Irelea’rah, how long are you planning to stay here for?” Vency asked. β€œI’m not trying to shoo you or anything, I’m incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done, but I’m sure you’d like some privacy and all.”

β€œI care little for my privacy, my duty comes first and foremost. I will stay as long as I am welcome,” Irelea’rah replied.

β€œI can attest to the part about privacy,” Ceralla added.

β€œOh?” Irelea’rah commented.

β€œYour comfortable clothes for example, the ones you rest in,” Ceralla replied.

β€œWhat about them?”

β€œThey’re… small,” Ceralla explained.

β€œIf you find my nightwear dissatisfactory, master, I will find something more appropriate for your desires,” Irelea’rah replied, not noticing James, Lafalla, and Vency all pausing.

β€œI’m not bothered by it, do what is most comfortable. I just said that as most people would be embarrassed.”

β€œVery well, I will continue then” Irelea’rah stated, leaving the rest of them uns

Elections have consequences - Virginia.

A little while ago, I posted this thread in regards to Virginia, pointing out all the Progressive stuff that Virginia Democrats have done, and then promptly did not get rewarded at all by the electorate. Losing the Governor, LT Governor and Attorney General race, as well as the State House. The State Senate was not up for election, and remains 21D-19R.

Well, it is day one in Republican Controlled Virginia.

Youngkin as his day one agenda set out executive orders.

They are

-Banning 'critical race theory'. Aka purging libraries of books they don't like, and firing teachers

-Kids don't have to wear masks at schools

-Purging the previous state parole board, and replacing them with hardliners who won't give parole to those who served their time

-Investigate Loudoun County's 'wrongdoing' in relation to the date rape that happened in the school, previously covered by Vaush on stream. The right-wing media complex turned this into rage bait, despite it having nothing to do with trans policy.

-Withdraw from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, a market, cap and trade scheme between states. So not even the market-based solution is allowed under Republicans.

-Work towards Cutting regulations, by 25%. Doesn't say which regulations

-No vaccine mandate for state employees.

Basically the top priorities for Republicans. Let the pandemic rage forever, enact racist policies, and then slip a bunch of regulatory capture policies through to help their real base, the corporations who fund them.

The incoming Attorney General also used his day 1, to purge the States lawyers, particularly in the Office of Civil Rights

Using Eren to Pinpoint the Retcon in AoT

I believe it's pretty clear by now that Isayama gave up or changed the ending for one reason or another.

While I feel that other character retcons were more subtle, such as Reiner's Helos imagery being abandoned:Pre-Retcon Reiner: https://external-preview.redd.it/3FgPxZ7MGwRx5oLVxhk2U08dJgEeVPdoq9O6UjWzKbE.jpg?auto=webp&s=5a96e8645ee9143dde9fcfc1d3a4952d441ac6a9Post-Retcon Reiner:https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/facebook/002/073/599/46a.jpg

I feel that these these are more just plot-lines being abandoned and characters being dumbed down.

For example, Historia's child famously was stripped of any sort of plot relevancy despite her birth forming the pinnacle of the Rumbling and being metaphorically linked to the birth of a new world using the symbolism of the dawn.

But with Eren, the retcon is a lot easier to pinpoint and evidence:

In 131, Eren told Ramzi why he had to do the Rumbling. To paraphrase:"It's because of Eldia... no, it's because... because I was disappointed that I could not have the outside world."

It is a law in writing that when someone talks to themselves out loud or to someone that cannot understand them, they are telling the truth. That is, if the only person who can hear or understand the speaker is the speaker themselves, then whatever they say cannot be a lie.

So when Eren finally broke down and revealed why he enacted the Rumbling, we got the following:

  1. He did it because he wanted to protect Eldians.
  2. To a greater extent, and to his own shame and disgust, he did it for purely personal reasons... He did it because when he found out that the world he had spent his entire life trying to attain was already occupied and taken, he couldn't live with it.

Eren cries in this scene with Ramzi because he is finally, FINALLY, telling the truth. All the emotions he hid from everyone couldn't be contained any longer.

Then we get to 139, and not only is the information Eren gave us during the crying scene with Ramzi ignored, it is completely replaced. We get a SECOND crying Eren scene, where he divulges his reasoning for enacting the Rumbling. But the reasoning is completely different

  1. I am not really sure why I did it, and had you not stopped me, I would have finished it.

Nowhere does he mention Eldia in the retcon cry
