A list of puns related to "South Bay Lakers"
Kuminga, in 31 Minutes:
27 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 6 turnovers, 4 fouls, -22
11-22 FGM-A
4-8 3PM-A !!!!!!!!!!
1-3 FTM-A
the three point shooting looks VERY encouraging. Would love to to see his shooting improve, if he can get it to around 35% or so, he's gonna be looking at more minutes with the main guys. Gotta work on his turnovers, which will hopefully come with time.
Moses Moody, in 31 Minutes:
21 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, 0 turnovers, 4 fouls, -13
6-17 FGM-A
1-7 3PM-A
4-4 FTM-A
Three point shooting looking a little cold these days, hopefully he gets hot soon. fun fact, his 3P% in the NBA is actually lower than Kuminga's now, though it is (obviously) the victim of a small sample size. (14.3% to 13.3%)
Pretty good read on AC
>Carusoβs road to the sweet life was a winding one. He spent a year in the minors with the Oklahoma City Blue, the Thunderβs affiliate, who would rarely advertise their games so as not to compete with the big club. His parents, Mike and Jackie, would drive six hours to watch him play in a gym that had bounce houses to entertain kids. One of his road games took place at the same facility where his agent Greg Lawrence was playing in a beer hockey league. (Caruso stuck around for the hockey; he remembers both of their teams won.)
>Then in 2017 Nick Mazzella, the general manager of the South Bay Lakers, was at the leagueβs Elite Mini Camp in Chicago with South Bay president Joey Buss when Caruso caught their eye. βI know if you see Alex on the street youβre not like, This guy must play basketball,β says Mazzella. βBut he was just bodying up everybody, defending really well. He had some phenomenal finishes at the rim and then a chase-down block. He really stood out.β
>After the Chicago camp Mazzella persuaded Lawrence to have his client join the Lakersβ 2017 Summer League team in Las Vegas. When Caruso first met the Lakersβ coaching staff, they largely had the same reaction as most everyone else. βAt the Summer League first practice, one of the coaches called me over and said, βWho gave the UPS guy a jersey?β β says Mazzella.
