Finally got to make the utility room door today. Reclaimed wood from before i "retired". It did mean that the laundry didn't get done though lol.
Came home from work and saw this posted next to the laundry room.
I heard loud knocks coming from the laundry room, thinking the washer was acting up again.
Before I could check it out, my 4 year old came to me, smile on his face and said, "The baby is clean now".
I repurposed the old light fixture from the laundry room. It already had holes, so all I did was add metal wires and water! I turned it into a propagating hanging pot. 😅✌🏼
Still obsessing over yesterday’s jeans haul from my local thrift!! Most of them are brand spanking new! 😍😍 Now, to the laundry room to get that ugly writing off the labels 🧐🧐

I just converted an old laundry room into the new coop for my girls, I also introduced them to our friend, oscar the grouch, a fully grown american crow that we rescued from a dumpster and has an injury to his wing that has left him healthy, but unable to fly.

Interesting coin I found in the laundry room of my building. Almost same size as a quarter. Stainless steel. Obsolete currency from some quick googling.
Finally have more space!! Gone from a few lack tables stacked on top of each other and hidden away to a dedicated space in the laundry with room for everything.

Noise from the common laundry room disturbing sleep
Hi,
The common laundry room in my building is beside my room without a proper wall that cancels the noise. So the laundry room rule is that machines shouldn't be on after 10 pm, but this has been happening for the last 3 months, and the manager doesn't do anything to make people follow the rule. The noise disturbs my sleep and I can't go to bed when they are on.
The duration of my renting contract is 1 year with cancellation after 6 months. But it has been only 3 months.
So I was wondering if I could leave the place before 6 months calling breach of contract(since if you can't really sleep after 10 pm, that makes the place inhabitable right?)?

I spent an hour in my laundry room today it makes me happy to be in here now. I want to get mats for in from of the washer and dryer and maybe paint the concrete wall but I’m not too sure I have the patience for it lol.
The people were knocking furiously at both of the doors now as I hid in the laundry room with my kids; the electricity cut off from the outside and every last entrance being checked for weaknesses as I muffled their cries and pleads for them to leave us alone.
It was a couple minutes before they kicked in the door with a sickening crack and they filed in searching for me; knowing that if I gave up on myself or them now, all of the police would find the rest of the dying children in the basement, the ones I planned to sell off for my dealer.
Someone stole an entire load of my laundry from the Douthit Hills laundry room in building G.
It’s 1 in the morning and seriously considering knocking on everyone’s door. Does anyone know who I can contact about this? I know they were deliberately stolen because there were other dryers available to use. It was a load of my shirts and jackets. One of them belonged to my uncle that recently passed away. I’m freaking out. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

LPT: When moving from one room to another, take a moment to consider if anything in the room with you also needs to go that way (laundry, dishes, etc.) This allows you to use your time and energy more effectively. It also makes cleaning up much easier.

Laundry stolen from shared laundry room in apartment complex and office may have the thief on video.
I live in an apartment complex in California and recently had 2.5 loads of laundry stolen from the community laundry room. It is locked and has a camera pointed at it. The office maintainance guy who I've known for 5 years is reviewing footage right now. What is my course of action if they get a clear shot of who did it and know who it is? I want to be prepared because most of the clothes were my girlfriends and they were not cheap in the slightest. Probably around $500 worth of clothes. Not to mention all her underwear which is gross for me to think about considering they picked through the last load (thus the 2.5 and not 3 loads). Please resist telling me I'm an idiot for leaving that much valuable clothing unattended even though it was in a locked laundry room. I know it was dumb. Just looking for advice for if we catch her. Thanks in advance I've been pretty angry about this for a week or so now. Made me feel slightly better to take her shopping to replace what I could but the stolen underwear leaves me feeling full of anger still. People can be disgusting.
