Hii there,
I'm trying to use my smartcard (Yubikey) for encryption (and decryption) of main in Thunderbird.
For this, I'm following the tutorial on the mozilla wiki, unfortunately, this doesn't work for me.
Instead, all I keep seeing is this screen.
I've already confirmed that mail.openpgp.alternative_gpg_path
is set to true
and that GPG itself can find my yubikey just fine.
I've also added the bin_64
directory to my path but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi!
I was wondering what exactly applies to the "good reason" segment of Section 139 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988.
I've recently gotten into cooking and honestly, the ease and safety of cooking with a properly sharpened knife is something that I find essential these days.
Sadly, holiday vacation locations will rarely have a knife set that would satisfy what I would usually be seeking.
Thus, I was wondering if bringing a set of knives (chef, santoku, paring) inside of a locked case which is kept in a bag for the purpose of bringing it on holiday to cook meals would fall within the good reason?
I know it's a bit of a stretch, but was wondering if I could get any advice from the people here.
P.S. Yes, I know that driving is the true solution, but that's sadly not in the books.
So I was driving through Yellowstone National Park, and I noticed that a great many of the rails on the roads are dented, or even completely torn up.
The truth: they arenβt actually. Theyβre just made that way so drivers will see the barrier that was torn in half and say βgolly, I donβt want to be that guy that flew off the cliff, I ought to be more careful!β That way, the people at Yellowstone wonβt have to spend as much money cleaning up after totaled cars.
Do I have any proof? No. Can I ever prove it? Unlikely. Is it possible? Yeah, at least I think so.
TL;DR: Yellowstone National Park intentionally installs damaged rails on the roads to trick drivers into being safer.
Itβs nothing world-ending, but it was a funny thought I had that I felt you all would enjoy too.
I would add a newbie flair if I could.
So I made a new Proxmox server, which I want to ssh onto, so I don't have to run between rooms when needing to update, make new user etc etc. But the ssh command just returns 'Permission denied (publickey)'. Here's the output of 'ssh -v xyz': https://pastebin.com/QnDNJJX7
Folder permissions on the servers are fine, so should be the config file, and yes I want to log in using my NitroKey without password.
Thank you so much for your time!
Edit: i looked up my key with ssh-add -l , maybe I did something wrong there?
Edit 2: Even though this is more than embarassing, I'm gonna leave this here if any newbie is making the same mistake....it's ssh-add -L for the key and ssh-add -l for the fingerprint....it works now.
Just a question I've wondered about since I have visited London a few times since 2014 and have never really worried about that thanks to Oyster.
I'm trying to load the smartcard libraries I need to use my smartcards in Librewolf and when I try to load the module I get an Unable to load module
error. I have installed Librewolf with Flatpak.
