Hello - I have a few games for sale (local pickup). Please let me know if you have any questions, i.e. condition specifics or edition clarifications. In most cases I would actually rate the condition of the games more at a [3.5] than a [3], but I didn't want to deviate from convention.
Thank you.

Willing to look at all offers. Letβs make a deal.
As a former sw player, lover, addict myself - I get it. The game is gone and it's not coming back and that's really hard to deal with. But a lot of people are behaving irrationally and ignorantly, driven by their unhealthy attachment to a shut down kids game. I'm genuinely concerned about people who are so bitter and stuck in the past that they neglect all adequate explanations as to why SW won't come back. IT'S NOT COMING BACK. You are doing yourself no favors by trying to recreate or create new memories of SW. You don't need a memory book. You need to move on in life and stop putting time and effort into grieving this as if it's a family member. Additionally, it's rude to hound Vince and other staff members to bring SW back when it's not practical in any sense of the word. They are people and they tried their best. Just think for a second about how disappointed and defeated THEY feel as the actual creators of smallworlds.
Like I said, I understand and if I knew that my efforts could make a difference then I'd put that effort in, but common sense tells me otherwise unfortunately. I'm 23 now and I assume most other ex players are adults now too. Get on with your life
Does the Spirit Special Power continue after all of your Race tokens have been conquered?
Eg. My Tritons were in decline when I selected Spirit Orcs. If all of the Orcs are eliminated, do the Tritons remain in decline?
I would argue no, because there are no Orcs to be in decline, and they cannot use their Special power if they aren't on the board, and also because they weren't mine.
I know Smallworlds won't be coming back but I think as closure maybe as a community we could help make a memory book (kinda like a yearbook) where it had all the monthlies, rares, wears, places, spaces, photos, etc... It would be nice to see some spaces again even if it's just from photos. All the photos I have are from my laptop at my parent's house but I know collectively as a community we could submit alot of photos for a nice book to remember. All the money could go to Vince for trying so hard maybe? Just a thought I understand it would take alot of time and organization but I would buy it.
Im 20 years old now, but i remember playing this as a kid, like from when i was 10 to 12.
Hey. I am playing Hotel Hide Away. I m wondering if someone of smallworlds community playing it. If not, don t you wanna have fun together there ?
So I have this small task I do every other day, it's about making sure an automatic process has run and posted. Most of the time it does, but if there's a problem, human intervention is needed. This morning it hit an error. It was an issue with a feeder, which is just a string of lined objects that are connected and grouped by a label, changes in labeling or connectivity can cause errors.
So I fixed the one effected by the auto process, but that involved fixing another feeder that was mislabeled. Ok, done. Run validation.
Oh that feeder now has objects on another feeder mislabeled. Ok, fix that, run validation. Next feeder has mislabeling problem.
TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER!
Finally, no errors.
Idk if groups and stuff was a problem but if smallworlds comes back, Iβm instantly copping 500 CL first day and making a group, Iβm 22 now and I definitely have the money . I just want to link up at Sovereign Plaza and just sit and joke. I wanna play space jump and magma core!! Itβs heartbreaking and nostalgic at the same time, somethingβs gotta be done
Alright guys, itβs been 3 LONG years and I think we can all agree on one thing: itβs time to bring smallworlds back. Everyday, especially in these times, I wish I could come home, open my laptop, restock my sculpture shop & sculpt new things. Do missions. Visit friends. Sell spaces. Buy a new outfit. I miss all aspects.
Smallworlds was so special, especially when compared to other platforms. I think the main thing that Smallworlds provided was an actual real life type of experience. Iβve played other virtual worlds and NONE compare. All the others have aspects to them that make them seem so unreal and not fun at all to play, like bad graphics and unrealistic features. Smallworlds was a second life.
There have been people like I, who have lived by this idea since the closing of smallworlds. The idea that smallworlds was already so great and itβs not going to get any better, especially by the looks of the already few releases of towncenter. Why start from scratch on a project when a majority of the base wants smallworlds?
I know that the team has worked tirelessly to deliver a spinoff, but itβs not the same & never will be. We need smallworlds.
I am much older now than I was in the first couple of years that I played smallworlds & have a job! I can actually spend money on smallworlds now. When smallworlds closed I was working 10 hours a week at a store making 9.75/hr, but itβs been three years and finances are much better. Iβm not saying that only I would fund the game, but I am saying that many people have realized that smallworlds closed due to the lack of funding.
I also feel like if they were a little more transparent about the funding issue, and broke down the numbers more, it wouldβve helped. Tell us how much the servers cost or how much an account costs to run. Etc.
Please bring back smallworlds, do everyone justice. Please.
Let me explain, I talked to my dad ( pixel creator / video game designer) about mmo type games and how much servers would cost. Servers just for a few thousand would be a lot of money and once you start doing more things your bills are going to go way beyond $200,000 a month. Keep going it becomes $200,000 a week until it gets to $1,000,000 a month . It keeps rising so In other words you HAVE to be able to come up with the money. So letβs talk about the main reason smallworlds had a tragic failure . They let the numbers get to their heads, at one point the community was past 5million members. That costs millionssss per month. Like all other successful virtual worlds ... they werenβt supposed to focus on the hype because people leave. They were supposed to plan on people leaving eventually and strategize. There were no need for so many servers, so many items, so many unnecessary things . From what Iβve read... NO ONE ON THEIR WHOLE DAM TEAM( EVEN COMBINED) COULD AFFORD SMALLWORLDS IN THE (LONGRUN). You need at least 100 -150million to run a long term Mmorpg/ virtual world...
If you guys who manage the TownCenter won't do anything for the game, because we are without SW since 2018 and that's very stressful, I think you should make the source code/SmallWorlds available for everyone. I'm studying Programming Language and I'd like to one day make a game with the same vibe as SmallWorlds. I tried Habbo, Club Cooee, Imvu, The sims 4 and WoozWorld, but nothing satisfies me though.
I'm not sure if anyone still reads these posts, but I just wanted to share how I felt about smallworlds and I'm sure a lot of people can relate. Joining smallworlds, I was about nine years old in 2009, and since then to 2018 when they closed, I was on it every single day of my life. It became an escape from reality, but it became my reality. It didn't take over my life obviously, but it made the biggest impact on my mental health, and my sanity. I had made life long friends on there that I still talk to this day, and those people are there for me more than my friends in real life. I can't speak for anyone, but for myself I can say smallworld's saved my life. It was like logging online, and forgetting I had a bad day, or that I felt depressed, it was such a refreshing feeling to go to a place where it actually feels like home. There are so many days where I wish I can log on for smallworlds and play for hours, and just forget about the real world. Smallworlds has changed my life and it was a huge part of my happiness growing up, and my childhood. I feel bad for anyone who's never experienced a community like smallworlds. I commend vince for trying to keep the game going in some type of shape and form but all good things do come to an end unfortunately, and thank for for trying to make everyone feel at home with town center because I know that was the goal. To the creators of smallwolrds, I hope one day you guys reconsider this game because I know it saved lives, and not only mine.
Hi so i was thinking about it, the reason they closed SW was because they didnβt have enough money right. Well what if they made it to where you had to buy access to smallworlds whether it be 2.99-16.99. All the popular games such as sims and minecraft require it to be bought before playing. This creating a cushion of money for gamemakers and hopefully maybe prevent smallworlds from shutting down again. I know any former SW player could tell you the value of this game and if paying 5$ could mean i could play it again, i know i would!
Hello, i am an old player since 2008 and i kept myself playing smallworlds then until the shutdown 2018 and as someone old i can say i miss Smallworlds so much there is no game that can be better than Smallworlds , playing since 2008-2018 was awesome, i liked so much, in the first years i wasnΒ΄t VIP but in 2011 i started buying vip, and i wanna say iΒ΄m proud to be and old player , and i liked so much the people around there even if they called me noob once, buuut , i really hope Vince Bring back Smallworlds or make a Reboot somehting similar, i pray so much the could come back, i would spent 24h playing it. Thanks for reading
idk how many of you were involved in the absolute wreck that was the smallworlds fashion world, but i was just reminiscing and remembered how serious myself and so many others took it. i remember being accepted into the voralian modelling agency and being hyped irl thinking it was my greatest achievement, and i wrote for this magazine called elvaux idk if any of you remember this but i genuinely thought it was a real career. there was sm drama between agencies and god i just miss it sometimes lmfao. my name was rhyanon darknight pls tell me somebody remembers this <3
Hello Vince -
First of all, i'd like to say thank you for your recent update, despite it being 2 weeks later than expected. I'd like to discuss the Smallworlds reboot consideration you mentioned in the announcement. This is something i wanted to discuss weeks ago, but i decided to wait until we got another update. It's unfortunate that Towncenter may be coming to an end, after all the hard work, time and dedication you put into this project. However, after the lack of activity on the game, the negative feedback, the new ideas you guys presented, i'm sad to say that i couldn't see it doing well. However, i do see the reboot of Smallworlds doing well. Although you've said countless times that it's a very difficult task to reboot Smallworlds, and now that you've brought up the idea in your announcement, I truly believe that it could be successful again if we try. Smallworlds still has a lot of support, many people have said that they are willing to help out in any way they possibly can and even Donate money. And yes, i know that just a couple of donations from the community won't be able to pay off the servers every month, but i think it would be a good boost to begin with, depending how much you receive. Another thing that will be important to keep Smallworlds successful is Advertising (After getting enough funds to advertise of course) and the regular use of Social media. There was and still is a lack of engagement on social media from the staff. I'm positive that using Social media regularly will get the game more attention. Also, i think that gold should have more affordable prices. I remember there being complaints about the prices of gold being too expensive, if the prices were slightly more affordable, not too cheap not too expensive, i'm sure a lot more people would purchase gold. There are several other points i have that i think would help Smallworlds stay successful, but i don't want to make this post too long. I'll be happy to discuss more about this in the comments, but my point is, Smallworlds still has a lot of support. And whatever you guys choose to do, i'll be here all the way. But I really do hope and think that you should approve the SW reboot. If this reboot were to happen, i would be prepared for the likely possibility of the game not being exactly the same as it was before. But getting the game back is good enough for me. I completely understand that not all games last forever, and 10 years was a long time for Smallworlds to run,
idk much about running an online virtual world, but did SW have to end due to finances?
we were all so young when SW was around, we mostly had to rely on parents e.c.t for money.. it's so rubbish that now we're adults and can actually afford to play the game AND maybe keep it running that it's gone :( this is one of the only games i would ever want to spend my money on..
can we raise money or something to help set it back up lmao :( even if the game has to go back to basics idk, hopeful wishing :(
I have Through the Ages (new in shrink) and Smallworld. Looking for Cuba Libre, Le Havre, Root, A Feast for Odin, Decrypto, or any other offers.
could we make a go fund me for smallworlds??? we could fund the game to create it again!
