A list of puns related to "Slow Air"
I recently purchased an air pump and air stone. They pump out air so fast! How to I regulate how much air is pumped into the air stone?
X90j with OTA service.
Pressing the guide button, there are 9 channels viewable before having to scroll. No listings are available at first, and between 5-8 seconds pass before they populate completely. Then I scroll down to the next 9 channels, and it takes another 5-8 seconds to populate. It only appears to be populating the 2 hours that are visible, because scrolling over means having to wait again.
It would be nice if this preloaded overnight or something...
Any suggestions?
This next season will have happened at least a year ago or more. Other reality TV shows do not take this long to get to air. What is the delay with them?
I'm writing a scene for a graphic novel where a hostage falls from a hot air balloon and our hero needs to save her in midair in a WWI-era biplane. My question is... is that even possible? Is there any way to slow a biplane to a reasonable speed to snatch someone from the sky without falling from the sky? Some sources suggest the stall speed for an old biplane is ~35 mph. That's a pretty high speed to impact a person with. Could it be possible to accomplish a lower interception speed via a deadstick landing or stall turn?
I know it's a graphic novel and I shouldn't care this much, but I really love physics and hate to just throw it out the window.
tl;dr can a WWI-era biplane intercept a falling person mid-air at a speed low enough to prevent major injury or death to the falling person?
I got omori around a month ago and only decided to start playing it now, but only opening it took around 10 minutes just for it to load into the menu screen. After i selected new game i was hit with another loading screen that took even longer this time, around 15 minutes waiting for it to load and it just never did. I really need to know how to fix this, the game is lagging my entire laptop and making the fan go crazy. Is there a way to fix this or does it just NOT run on mac?
I just bought a macbook air m1 a few weeks back. It is probably the best laptop on the market atm. After using it for a week on big sur I was super happy and satisfied. Everything was lightning fast, the battery life is unrivaled and the general performance of the laptop is great!
Now I upgraded to monterey when the update came a few days back and I immediatelly noticed how preview keeps stuttering when viewing pdfs. Also VLC player, which I guess hasnt been ported to native ARM yet(maybe never will), works slowly as well, even though it worked without issue before the update. Youtube gets super slow after about half an hour or so, which sounds like a memory leak to me or something similar: it works fine, not fast, when you first open sfari, then after a while the UI gets very very slow, to the point of e.g. having to wait about 2 second for the video to enter fullscreen!
Did I really just put all my savings into an "investment", only to have a stuttering experience when reading fucking pdfs when studying? Great.
Anyways, just venting a bit, but I generally want to know if it will get better? Im new to mac os community and I have no clue what the general experience is when upgrading to a new os immediately when the first version comes out.
Did they just put out a half assed mac os and we need to get some updates first that will optimize the software and everything else? Or is now air M1 "slow"? Im genuinely scared I am being screwed here.
