A list of puns related to "Shoreditch"
Hi Guys,
We are doing LSC meetup for people to meet each other, have a few drinks and dance like mad in the evening.
Begins at 8pm TODAY!
If you are interested, dm me for more info and I can add you to the whatsapp group
Edit: Whoops, messed up the date tag so re-posting this as the old one got removed by the automod, should be okay now
One of my favorite live music venues famous for having amazing blues, soul and funk bands on stage everyday (yes, every day), Blues Kitchen Shoreditch is having another Aretha Franklin night!
Here's a short information from the venue website:
>The first set of the evening will be dedicated Aretha Franklin*. The best musicians in town will be tearing through a set of classics including βR.E.S.P.E.C.Tβ, βChain Of Foolsβ, βThinkβ, βBaby I Love Youβ, βRocksteadyβ & much moreβ¦*
>
>Our world-famous house band will then hit the stage for a second late night live set, filling the room with classic funk, soul & rock n roll. From Aretha to Stevie Wonder & Fleetwood Mac to The Rolling Stones. DJβs will also be playing timeless grooves until 2.30am (DJs + live music from 9pm).
If that sounds like your kinda jam, join me (41M, lol boomer) and other LSC people after work on Friday to see out January blues one week early!

Hi guys,
I am entering myself and my team 5 a side league on Sundays in Shoreditch starting from 20th Feb, and am looking for someone who is willing to join as a goalkeeper.
Please respond to this thread or DM me for more details.
Hi everyone! I am an A-level geography student, and for my coursework (which accounts for 20% of my final grade) I have chosen to investigate how "media representation affects perception of a local place", in this case, Shoreditch. In order to investigate this, I have created a short questionnaire and would really appreciate it if anyone who is currently living or has lived in Shoreditch could answer it, please. Below is the link to the questionnaire (I made it using Google Docs.) Thank you in advance :)

Hi all, I've been away from London for about 6 years working abroad and am back for a couple of weeks to see family but will be working from our London office in the meantime. There seem to be some great changes to TfL (like the hopper fare) and caps, but also worse ones like the increase in fees.
My journey to work is not going to be easy but I'm trying to work out if I'm missing anything in terms of costs. Looking at the new fare list it seems that peak and off-peak prices are the same for all caps, which is hard to believe but I'll take it. I have a couple of questions so I can work out my cheapest price. I'll be travelling three days this week, and 4 days next week.
My route is essentially:
..... Bus to Surbiton station -> Overground to -> Waterloo -> Bus to shoreditch high street
Most of my journey will be in peak times, but some overlap/start in peak. My questions are:
Thanks so much for the help, and sorry for the annoying transport question. I understand the pain, but damn a lot has changed!
Hey guys, recently developed an app that includes a guide for Shoreditch, amongst other things. I was wondering if anyone here who knows Shoreditch well, or wants to get to know it better, could give it a look and tell me what they think? If so head over to Bindystreet.com and have fun.
Really appreciate any feedback you guys could give. Thanks in advance!
Has anyone seen the new event being held by the dating app Thursdays? Iβm curious about it, might check it out this week!
For anyone who doesnβt know, Thursdays is a dating app that is only accessible on Thursdays. Your matches disappear each week so the idea is that you meet up on the same day as you match. Theyβve now started doing an event every Thursday where they hire out a couple bars and everyone there is single & has bought a ticket from the app. Itβs not speed dating, just a bar full of singles. Last week it was in the Hackney/Shoreditch area, not sure if itβll be the same this week but Iβm hoping it is!
Hi, Iβm moving to Shoreditch soon and am wondering where might be a good place for pet supplies ? Iβve got a cat so am hoping thereβs a shop nearby where I can purchase a litter box, cat food, etc?
Thank you !
[Location Update] I'm inside now, getting a drink. I'm by the stageside with camel colored coat and orange colored shirt. I will be checking my Reddit messages frequently.
Do you love live music? Do you want to dance? Do you want to listen said live music in London's one of the most fun and vibrant venues? Then Blues Kitchen on a Saturday night is the cure for the dark and gloomy nights.
Blues Kitches Shoreditch is a personal favorite and one of the three sister bars across London (maybe the next one will be Camden and Brixton) known for good food, exceptional live music and jam packed nights.
What?
From their website:
" Expect to hear classics by Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin & moreβ¦ DJβs will also be playing timeless grooves until the small hours (DJs + live music from 9pm)"
When? Where? How?
20/11/2021 Saturday, from 6:30 p.m., inside Blues Kitchen
IMPORTANT: Entry is free before 8 p.m.. You can either buy tickets from the website below for Β£8 for entry after that or pay Β£10 at the door if you are going to be fashionably late.
Website: https://theblueskitchen.com/shoreditch/event/live-music-djs-until-3am-8/
Location: https://goo.gl/maps/Vui5VZR1ZPM3Z26a8
DJ music starts around 9 and live music starts around 10 p.m. so keep that in mind when you are arriving. The venue gets pretty popular on weekends and there will be a line to get in later on.
How To Find Me: I will be there chilling after 6:30 p.m., no Whatsapp number but will be checking my Reddit DMs frequently. I will be near the stage area and will try my best to wrangle up anyone got lost but no promises for that after live music starts.
Addendum: I'll keep the thread posted about where we are at the venue and how to find me/us.
That's pretty much it, see y'all! (if anyone shows up, that is)
