A list of puns related to "Shine Group"
I come from a country that is multiracial. There are many successful Indian individuals here, but I can barely think of one success story by Indians as a group. With the other races, there are many group success stories, with so many successful companies, political parties, NGOs, etc.
We hear about so many brilliant Indians across the world (especially the US). They seem to be very successful in systems built by other races/nationalities and when around non-Indians. I wonder if Sundar Pichai could run a company that's half as good as Google in India, the answer is probably no. This made me wonder, as to why are Indians bad at governance when it comes to governing other Indians? Why are systems, institutions built and run primarily by Indians so weak? Is it cultural? Is it because the Indian civilization has paid little attention to group work like nation building or institution building?
One social trait that I have found in races that are successful as a group is a high degree of obedience towards authority. You may disagree with decisions from the top, but you follow anyway because otherwise its destructive. Unfortunately in many Indian-majority organizations in my country, there seems to be so much infighting that weakens authority. Now you may ask "But what if the authority is cruel and dictatorial?". The best approach to this seems to be also to just follow authority. Only when there's a high chance of a change of leadership, you rebel. Otherwise you complain through the legal channel and if that doesn't work, you leave the group. Forming factions and disrupting the work of leaders of the day only seem to weaken the entire system; system becomes dysfunctional and everyone loses at the end of the day.
What are your thoughts on this?
Itβs funny because the 3rd gen groups have done so much for kpop yet so many people want them gone. Many boy group stans are wishing for bts to go to the military and βslow downβ, many people also want the top3 gg to become irrelevant, Iβve seen so many people talk about how bp are going to end up like 2ne1 and disband, like why are we thinking about how they will disband when the group still has more than two years left on the contract. Iβve seen this more this year with the rise of many fourth gen groups and people have been discussing how the top 3 gen groups are going to end ( weirdly enough these discussions are mostly ggs except for bts ) and it almost seems like they WANT the groups to become irrelevant and dispandβ¦ like no tw,rv,bts, and bp arenβt going anywhere for now. Groups can be successful at the same time.
And please donβt use this as an excuse to generalize 4th gen fans because many people who do this arenβt even fans of those groups, just antis of the big groups who want to see the, fail.
Imagine if Group 1 and Group 2 debuted as two separate groups, the world wouldn't be able to handle it. For some reason, the groups have really good synergy. Not to mention, their ratio for nationalities are almost equal.
(Mainly I'm just really sad about the lack of international members in the final lineup :'( )
Hello everyone. I've been doing some deck building research to create a new deck with my group of friends and have run into an interesting scenario. We end up playing anywhere from 1v1 to a group of 4 or 5 depending on who's available.
I've cycled through a lot of commanders, and a lot of decks are designed for playing with a group. Commanders like [[kardur]] and both versions of Marchesa excel in groups, but seem lackluster in 1v1. Meanwhile commanders like [[toshiro umezawa]] seem to excel in 1v1 but can struggle in groups.
I know this also limits certain archetypes as well by default. Group hug and pillow fort seem like they'd be weird in 1v1 because there's no one else to target when people don't want to bother fighting through your pieces. Goad strategies are off the table entirely. Theft and group slug seem very lopsided because of the extra or lack of targets you might face.
So, in your opinion, what are some of the best commanders or archetypes that work just as well in groups as they do in 1v1?
I'm not sure what makes these two songs similar or if they even are but I love them and they give off similar vibes? So I'm looking for songs that sound similar to them.
This may be the most exciting thing that happened to me this week apart from the weekly trip to the shops. I sense quality entertainment, but don't want to upset Jackie, Rob and Richard.
They clearly have a wrong number, already changed my WhatsApp name to Attic People.
Wholesome ideas welcome.
EDIT: I bought them pizza and now we are Super Best Friends. Don't give your address to strangers people, not everyone will buy you takeaway!
This is an unpopular opinion by me. It's OK if you don't agree. Please be civil in the comments. Also I'm on mobile so apologies for any strange formatting.
TLDR: We should not actively ignore griefers, we should instead think and talk about why and how bases are getting griefed, and how Hello Games could implement systems to better prevent it in the future.
The problem: Popular and iconic bases within player groups are getting griefed because of an exploit. Defending your base is next to impossible due to the way PVP and base building is currently implemented.
Possible solutions:
"Captian Obvious: Bug Fixes!": Make it known to Hello Games that the base griefing exploit is a real and tangible issue that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Build permissions should be set to OWNER ONLY by default to help noob players.
"Sorry, we're closed!": Allow Base Owners to "Lockdown" their base, preventing any players from entering "locked" doors. Exiting should still be possible to avoid players getting locked in cages, another form of griefing. One way doors? "Emergency escape" hatch?
"Sorry, no multi-tool building allowed inside!": For larger or "tourism" based builds, allow base owners to place "zones" where your Multi Tool Build Menu is inaccessible (Pressing up on the D-pad doesn't open anything), like in Space Stations or the Anomaly, and building anything is impossible. Basically like a spectator mode but you can still mine rocks if you need resources. This one does not prevent the Terrain Manipulator grief, maybe disable the terrain manipulator while in range too? I dunno!
"PVP overhaul or update": Personally, I don't want fully realized PvP in NMS. It leads to toxic behavior and bullying in sandbox games like this. (Think ARK survival evolved alpha clans for example). Instead have PVP damage disabled by default, and allow players to enable it if they want to duke it out for fun with their friends.
Do you have any ideas? Please share them below. Remember this is a discussion thread, please keep it civil. Thank you for reading!
I honestly fell in love with the group because of Chaewon so I wanna prefaced that.
Anyways I felt that IZ*ONE is incredibly talented and very versatile as a group and has some iconic songs. Panorama is definitely one of K-pop's greatest hits to me by this point and the legendary La Vie En Rose is still played on my playlist daily. I always thought it was a possiblity that such a stable and strong group (albeit a little underrated but what can they do they exist in the age of Twice, BP & RV) would defy all produce 101 odds and get to stay together.
However through another lens I gotta say that even if I am sad that IZ*ONE will not be together it might be better for all of them as a whole.
The p101 formula is VERY strong with the group, Wonyoung is center and she is placed squarely in the spotlight for nearly everything, she's a Nayeon sort of center where she has the upper echelon of lines and focus, screentime and start and end songs. But the difference is that Nayeon is also one of Twice's best dancer and vocalist whilst it is unfortunate for Wonyoung that her group contains so many other talented girls. Had this been a different sort of group like RV even if the center is highlighted there will always be members who holds more lines or screentime and therefore more spotlight each come back and there will be switching back and forth. In term of Twice-like since Nayeon is essentially the spirit of Twice and have the chops to back it up people grumble about it less. Thus I feel bad for both Wonyoung for people being disgruntled of her and for the other girls for not getting their chance to shine. IZ*ONE is sorta stuck in the middle between having an undeniable star or having to assign another center which obviously they can't do due to the formula of the show. Sakura is center in some Japanese activities only and rarely get the same center-like treatment in Korean comebacks.
Thus I became more accepting of the end due to the fact that mega talents like Yena, Eunbi, Chaewon, Chaeyeon, Nako, Yujin etcs might have a chance of being the center of the group they will eventually join as well, or go solo. Even members that do not get the same credits they deserve for their talent might strike it as an actress and get some solo attention and honestly more money for their work and effort.
In the future I feel that to really solidify the identify of a produce 101 like group it would be wise to switch up that formula of the center being so ubiquitous with

I think I am looking for a phrase, my english is a bit wonky so let me explain it again.
Lets say there is a goal you cant achieve without others and others cant achieve without you so you work together. However you want to become better than rest of the individuals in the group so you make a selfish move by stealing their ideas. However if you do this too much youβll be caught. So you have to follow a path that wont harm the group too much but also help you take advantage of them.
Saturday is a girl group that debuted in 2018 with Saturday - Mmook JJi BBa and has so far release 4 singles with a 5th single set to drop on the 1th of january. They started out as a 7 member group, but after debut and their first comeback they would lose 4 members while adding new ones bringing them to 5 members for the last 2 comebacks now.
They have mainly done cute and energetic concepts with a bit of girl crush in Bbyong and often have sax instrumentals in their tracks.
Saturday is one of those groups that may not have a huge fanbase but what is there is clearly very passionate and attached to the group.
Check them out if you want and keep an eye open for their comeback next month.
So Iβm trying to get more into boy groups but itβs just hard for me to find songs that I think are catchy. But then I realized the ones I do love all have a similar feel/style to them. So Iβm wondering your recommendations for songs similar to:
Songs that are more upbeat with catchy beats / memorable chorus/hook!
Edit: omg thank you guys so much for all the suggestions! Iβm gonna have so much fun listening to them all now!! π
