A list of puns related to "Separable space"
How come attributes like smiling, glasses are linearly separable by a hyperplane in the latent space?.What confuses me is that the generator is a function that maps from input RANDOM noises z drawn from a Gaussian distribution P(Z) to image space.
I stress on Random because: Let us assume we are in R^2 .We randomly sample 10 points from the Gaussian distribution and label them "RED"(Analogous to Non-smiling faces). We sample another 10 points and label them "BLUE"(Analogous to Smiling faces) Isn't it unlikely that the RED points and BLUE points are linearly separable? Is it the case that in higher dimensions,it is more likely that the points are linearly separably by a hyperplane?
I understand the definition of a separable space, and the basic examples as well, but I don't really get why topologists use the word 'separable'.
Thanks in advance!
The last hidden layer + output layer is just like logistic regression right? So we're just trying to find as separable a feature space as possible.
I find that incredible that separability is not a limitation on the cardinality of a set. However, the trivial map example given on the Wikipedia page for separable spaces is not satisfiying at all. Do you have any nice examples ?
I am thoroughly a layman to physics, but I love picking up textbooks to dig through. I have a book entitled Quantum Field Theory in a Nutshell by Zee, and I'm getting hung up on dirac notation. I understand that the bra and ket represent vectors in a "complex separable Hilbert space". I haven't had any luck in my attempts to understand exactly what that means, however. Any help is greatly appreciated!
A successful launch is a job half done, but hoping a equally great success of deployment process!
If matter is made of particles, and particles are vibrations of quantum fields, and quantum fields make up space... can matter be said to be separate from space? It seems like matter is just an area of space in which there are more vibrations.
I'm not super knowledgable about Eberron's lore, but something that's always bugged me is how Eberron doesn't share the planescape with any other material planes and doesn't really seem to have any way to interact with other campaign settings at all. It's obvious that there's something vast separating eberron from the other material planes, but is it just space or time as well?
We know that Eberron is the most recent (in its timeline) of many successive worlds that have since been destroyed. The Gith and Oberynths supposedly came from previous worlds like these. We also know that it's possible for the planes of existence to be created or destroyed over time due to cosmic events like the spellplague that tore apart the multiverse for the entirety of 4e. It stands to reason that there's a time difference in which these cosmic alterations took place. Given how technologically advanced Eberron is compared to the other campaign settings, I wouldn't be surprised if its in the future relative to the forgotten realms, greyhawk, earth and rest
just the thought of some aliens existing just blows my mind. i know people already like had this realization but it still pops up into my head every so often like, wow, there could really be so much stuff and inteligent beings out there, there could even be some sort of galactic government, and space is the only thing stopping us from getting there. distance. just the vast amount of distance between us and them would be huge. at his very moment, there could be a war between star systems and we wouldn't know. there could be some insane crazy shit going on out there.

But when I say okay fine, I canβt do this anymore (the constant back and forth) and initiate breaking up, separating our belongings (weβve been together for almost a decade), start talking about split custody of our child (as well as our child on the wayβIβm 34w pregnant), he panics.
He then claims he doesnβt mean it, or doesnβt remember saying it. Heβll say he had a momentary lapse in judgement, or just needed to get it off his chest, is horribly sorry and canβt lose us.
Am I being manipulated into staying with a person because heβs scared of being alone? My mom is bipolar, Iβve been through the ringer with her, but is this bipolar behavior? I am getting whiplash.
And when I do stay, and we eventually make amends (it takes a while to recover), I am left questioning A.) when it will happen again, B.) why Iβm not good enough and C.) if he needs professional helpβnot because he doesnβt want to be with me but because heβs so unsure of what heβs feeling and claims he doesnβt remember saying these things sometimes
I donβt know what iβm looking for. I feel so lost and heartbroken.
Hi guys, Iβm buying a commercial retail space for my retail store, should I form two companies, and make my retail store pay rent to the property holding company. Or just form one simple company operating the business and also owns the property.(my business doesnβt have rent expense anymore?)
I do plan to sublease the other half of the building.
Any one have experience in this? Any advise is appreciated.
So I was curious about joining a Pride club at my university, so I reached out and did it. I havenβt even gone to a club meeting or talked to anyone and already feel like I donβt belong. For a lack of a better word, I feel too straight. Iβm a fairly masculine man, Iβm in a hetero relationship, and I have a child just to name a few things. And the people in that group, well, isnβt any of that. Socially and visibly I would definitely be the odd person out. And really, no one even knows Iβm bisexual. Aside from a few Pride pins and stickers, Iβm almost certainly cast as straight.
I know I havenβt even gave it a real shot yet, but it got me feeling anxious about the whole ordeal. Iβm a pretty socially awkward to begin with. And imaging me in a group full of others that I feel totally different from doesnβt ease that anxiety. I know Iβm probably overthink this, but I canβt help to feel like an outcast. Any advice? π¬
