A list of puns related to "Secret handshake"
Joseph Smith was a textbook cult leader looking for ways to use his spiritual authority to sleep with followers.
Do you really?
I was at a vineyard today and when I went back to my car to retrieve something an older gentleman approached me in the parking lot and we started chatting. Really nice guy. He said he had flown in from one city and the girl he was with had flown in from another. Didn't think much of it until she stepped out of the car. First...wow! She was stunning and much younger...so of course my radar went off.
This should probably have been all the sign i should have needed but at the same time, I was like 'don't say anything stupid because it could be his daughter.' Got me to thinking...we need secret handshake or something to identify each other in the wild.
I really like Android Auto on the Volt. But what is the secret for connecting the phone to the car? I know to wait a few seconds after starting, but even then, AA fails about half the time and I can only listen to Spotify with Bluetooth. Once this happens, I can't get AA to work, except by shutting everything down and walking away for a time out. Having Spotify running before I plug in the phone usually prevents the connection. "Thou shalt count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count and the number of the counting shall be three..."
When you meet a fellow strabismama or strabisman in public, perhaps on a subway train, do you feel the need to acknowledge each other? Is that weird? Or do we ignore each other even more so than others we pass by?
I wish we had a sign to share.
It seems that founder of Mormons took a lot of symbols and handshakes from Freemasons.
Information on Wikipedia says that Mormon Ritual of Endowment has some elements from Masonry.
Question: in practice doesn't this lead to a lot of confusion if a Mason or Mormon greet each other with the same secret handshake? How will each of the groups differentiate?
It seems common symbols and greetings must create some kind of a bond between both organizations.
Any more info on this would be great.
I have finally uncovered these SGI secret signals, so I am required to share them with the SGIWhistleblowers community. It's a 2-step signal; a person identifies themself as SGI, then the group has a specific response.
This is what goes on at leaders meetings - to make sure no non-leaders are crashing.
Here are a couple of YOUFF demonstrating :
Our secret handshake/sign...is apparently holding both hands out in front to form two L's (one backwards)..you know, to check left and right.. L β
I was talking with a friend about a character from a show and said "I want a secret sign too!" and he said "you already have one!" ...and made the motion I do when ever someone asks me to turn left or right.. L β
I've seen a ton of posts in here indicating that a lot of us do that to check left/right... well guys, its our secret handshake/greeting. We're a pretty cool undercover organization I think... L β
At the supermarket checkout yesterday, the cashier and I got in an enthusiastic, eye contact free conversation on the proper sorting and bagging of groceries. He held forth on his system of quickly organizing things on the conveyor belt so that cold things end up together, produce ends up together, things like eggs and bananas end up on the top of the bag, etc. That way even if the customer or bagger doesn't care about doing it right it still ends up at least halfway right. He appreciated my beating him to it, since this is my system too. And I was just like RIGHT ON MAN. Fellow Aspie spotted in the wild, actual enjoyable interaction.
