A list of puns related to "Saw III (soundtrack)"
So I remember seeing Saw III in theaters back in 2006, and I was a little young so I think Iβm just remembering some things wrong, but I had totally thought that the last shot of the movie was Lynnβs exploded head on the wall, but apparently this is only in the unrated version and not the theatrical. I was curious about the differences between all the different versions and found out the theatrical cut actually ends with showing John laying dead on the bed. Maybe growing up with the unrated version on home release just made me think it ended differently than it did, but I totally thought for years that the theatrical cut also ended with the shot of Lynn just like it did in the unrated (and I mean the unrated, not the Directorβs cut) Does anyone else have a similar Mandela Effect with this series?
I was just relistening to your Saw III episode from last year and who boy, that part about different presidents considering closing down Jigsaw Trap Houses was some top shelf comedy!!! Keep up the good work!
Loving this years spooktacular as well!
I always knew he was really good, but holy shit. Him live is another level.
He had literally the entire crowd moving. He would own a late night slot under the here stage
Idk what it was but Saw III bugged me for the longest time. I sometimes felt like it was my least favorite in the series. At the time I thought it was too mean spirited and unfair in a lot of cases. Like, I know Jeff is kind of a slow moving asshole, but him and his wife didnβt need to go through the shit John & Amanda put them through π
But Iβve gone back to this movie a lot this past year for whatever reason (Saw IV as well, what fun trash!). This is by far the most emotional film in the series, and definitely feels like the βepicβ conclusion of a trilogy. Everybody goes out in a blaze of glory. I think the flashback scenes w/ Amanda add a lot of emotion to the movie, as well as Jeff and Lynnβs grief. I remember showing this to my friends very casually one night this summer and it just bummed them out π
Whatβre your guysβ thoughts on Saw III?
Guys I understand throughout the movie he's hit his head in beginning and was acting off emotions instead of using logic but still that doesn't explain when he's kills the judge even known the judge should have been out of way, nearly letting the judge die which he's could have save earlier. Also I know some of the traps were unbeatable also especially with Timothy, but even then he's fucked up by the end with killing Jigsaw since he's got his wife killed by not thinking and not seeing this may be a setup with the device on her neck and John smiling. He's literally fucked himself over by the end simply by not thinking and making his situation worse than it already was. There were so many times where he's screwed up. Maybe it was a good Strahm put him out of his misery.
Poor slow ass Jeff......
Update: It has been found https://www.reddit.com/r/deviantarthell/comments/qclz66/anyone_but_him_man_come_on/
Iβd just finished watching Saw 3 with my dad the other day and we were both just enjoying the end credits song.
But then, in the section where the songs featured in the film are displayed, I couldnβt help but notice the fact that one of them said:
βSlayer - Eyes Of The Insane. Remixed by Legion Of Doom.β
And I was confused cause I couldnβt remember any instance in the film itself or any specific scene where that song played in the background. I tried to search for this piece of info online but had no luck.
So, basically, Iβd just love to know if anyone knows which scene βEyes Of The Insane by Slayerβ was played, as Iβm a huge fan of the band and Iβm curious as all hell.
I don't think that anyone has a problem calling the first 3 the best, but how would you rank them?
For me, I'd put SAW III above the second film.
It's just such a better movie. The acting is great, as are the traps. It really dives into Amanda as a character, same with Jeff and John himself. Jeff's trials are EXTREMELY underrated. I almost cried when he burnt his son's belongings, I can only imagine how hard it must've been for him.
The scenes with Lynn, John and Amanda are beautifully done. Amanda by far is the best part about this movie. She establishes herself as the core antagonist of the film, and I think earns her spot in horror history in general only by this performance!
My only problems are the fact that it tries leaving purposeful plotholes for the next writers to act on, and also Jeff losing his final test. Thoughts?
The 1st is my favorite and by quite a large margin too. However, i thought parts II and III were really good too. They didn't just rehash the 1st. They both had multifaceted plots and good character development. While some of the later instalments could be described as mere 'torture porn,' i really don't think this applies to the original trilogy.
I know Lier III is an actual planet in the lore, but I'm curious if the placeholder shown in the citizencon demo was an actual planet they had already developed or if they just faked it for the sake of demonstrating a gameplay demo. I always loved the look and biomes of what they showed and am patiently waiting to get more earth like planets in the game. It makes me wonder what other planets are complete behind closed doors that we don't get to see. I've heard the Odin system is likely complete and we know they're working on the Pyro and Nyx system. Could it be that there's a whole host of other planets/moons completed just waiting for server meshing and icache to be implemented?
