[PC][Browser][Flash?] [1999-2004] American football game, possibly using the word "gridiron" in the name, where you played a series of positional challenges

I have vague memories of playing this game in the school computer lab. It was all the rage in that computer lab for a few weeks/months.

I think the background was stylized with black background with green lines, somewhat in a TRON style.

You played a series of position challenges trying to get an overall high score. e.g. you try to evade tackles as a running back, or try to catch balls and evade tackles as a wide receiver.

I think we all really wanted a global high score because I think it was associated with a brand, possibly Nike, and whoever got on the global leaderboards during the limited time the game was up got to win real life prizes.

I can't for the life of me remember more details of this game.

[Sampson] A source told The Athletic that All-American safety Kyle Hamilton is trending toward playing for the Irish again, if the program makes the College Football Playoff. Interested to see if that would change Notre Dame's profile with the committee. Positive news, regardless.

This would be a good counter for the Irish to the committee if they are saying that losing BK is a minus this would be a huge (bigger) plus. https://mobile.twitter.com/PeteSampson_/status/1466540213702778884

As a kid, I had so much fun playing Madden NFL β€˜94 because not only you could play as the current NFL teams, but also some of the classic NFL teams such as the 1985 Chicago Bears. It was fast paced hard hitting arcade style of gridiron football game and I loved it

Can you use a Gridiron (aka American) Football and a Rugby Ball to play AFL rules?

This post inspired the question.

So for those of us not living in Australia, can we use our local oval shaped balls like the NFL ball to play the game? I have a Rugby Ball.

How well would football kicking skills (not just soccer but rugby, gridiron, Australian rule, etc) transfer into Gaelic? In particular a powerful Association Footballer's Long Range Shooting prowess?

Just got into Gaelic. This post I saw made me wonder.

https://www.reddit.com/r/AFL/comments/msca55/how_well_would_a_powerful_shooter_in_soccer_do_at/

So would skills from other football sports like punting n American Gridiron and power shots in soccer transition to Gaelic smoothly?
