I was noticing something when listening to Rough and Rowdy Ways: Dylan's voice sounds much better (imo) on this album than on for example Time out of mind, which was released 23 years earlier. On Time out of mind and earlier albums, his voice sounds very rough and scratchy compared to the latest album. For example, when you compare Make You Feel My Love and I've Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You, his voice sounds notably better on the latter.
I was wondering how Dylan's voice could've improved even though he aged more than 20 years, seeing that most artists tend to lose their voice after so many years. How did Dylan's voice become better?
My personal feelings are heavily in favour of RARW, just wanted to see if everyone else agrees its the best 21st C album from Dylan?
Want to waste my time on a Bob Dylan studio album tierlist on Tiermaker, but all the pre-existing pages I can find have all albums except Rough and Rowdy Ways.
Am I missing something, or does anyone have a tierlist on https://tiermaker.com/ with all 39 albums (including Rough and Rowdy Ways)? Cheers.

I was cool with paying for the last two shows at that price because, as Barstool framed it, you were also paying for the extra talent with Bill Burr. This event is the same price as the Bill Burr shows with no Burr (or Macafee). That, along with the luster of what Rough and Rowdy once was quickly fading, is probably why I'll be looking to stream this instead of buying it from them. Hopefully the person streaming doesn't get doxxed
