But Brooklyn has expressed a surprising willingness to discuss sharpshooter Joe Harris, according to league sources, though he would surely require a pricey offer. βItβs crazy to me; heβs their only real three-and-D player,β said one assistant general manager. βBut his name keeps popping up.β > > Rival executives believe Nic Claxton could become available, as the Nets quietly gauged his value during the 2021 draft. The third-year forward has performed well for Brooklyn, but ahead of Claxtonβs restricted free agency this summer, rival executives believe he could be the outgoing player Brooklyn trades to take back a veteran into either the roughly $6 million trade exception from moving DeAndre Jordan or the $11.5 million trade exception from Spencer Dinwiddieβs sign-and-trade to Washington.
> > The only perceived contender with less flexibility than Brooklyn may be the Los Angeles Lakers. Amid the ongoing chatter of head coach Frank Vogelβs job security, Los Angeles has limited options for other significant changes. Only Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn are seen by rival front offices as Lakers role players on above-minimum salaries with legitimate trade value. > > The trio of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook simply hasnβt blended as well as Lakers figures hoped, and Los Angeles has held internal discussions on trade scenarios for Russell Westbrook, league sources told B/R. But moving Westbrook and the two years, $91 million remaining on his contract does seem unlikely. > > Kevin Love and Ricky Rubioβs salaries would match Westbrookβs pricey deal, reuniting James with a former championship counterpart. But that structure would have little interest from the Cavaliersβ side and has not yet been discussed by the two teams, sources said. Outside of Loveβs large number, there are simply few players aside from John Wall, for whom Westbrook was traded to Washington last summer, who are available for trade and come close to Westbrookβs earnings. > > One of those players is Ben Simmons. The Athletic reported Los Angelesβ interest in Simmons on Monday, and Westbrookβs salary, outside of Jamesβ and Davisβ, is the only number on

Now the Sonics need to build their team from ground up, starting with the expansion draft, and following it with signing players in the off-season.
Here are some simplified terms of the expansion draft:

Philadelphia Eagles (9-8) at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers(11-6) |

The Eagles defied the odds and clinched a playoff spot in week 17 when they completed their sweep of the Washington βWho cares what they are calledβ. The Eagles took care of business down the stretch knocking off a number of lowly teams to get to 9 wins and be able to rest key starters in week 18. They set up a meeting with their old friend Tom Brady and his Buccaneers down in Tampa for Wildcard Weekend. The Bucs easily took care of the Panthers in week 18 to secure the number two seed. While the game will be down in the Sunshine State, the weather looks to be anything, but sunny. The weather forecast is calling for rain and wind gusts between 20-30 mph which could favor the Eagles and their top ranked rush offense. But running against the Bucs big DL will be no easy task. Vita Vea has a huge size advantage over Kelce who he will most likely be lining up over in a 0 technique and while Ndamukong Suh is not the All-Pro he once was he is still a big body that can clog up the run game. If the Bucs sell out to stop the run it could be on Hurts to try to win it with his arm which could be difficult, especially with the weather. The Bucs have two guys they can match up on Goedert in Antoine Winfield Jr. and Lavonte David and they will get some pass rush help back with the return of JPP. Hurts will need to rely on his young WRs more to get open and quick. On the other side, Brady beat the Eagles with quick short throws earlier this season in a game where he was without Gronk, but while Gronk is back Brady has lost one of his favorite WRs Chris Godwin to an ACL tear and lost Antonio Brown to being crazy and probably running on the side of the road shirtless somewhere. With limited weapons the Eagles need to shutdown Evans with Slay and bracket Gronk. Playing tight with the predicted weather should help the Eagles slow down the Bucs passing attack, but they will still need to worry about the run game and Leonard Fournette who had two TDs against them in week 6. Should be an interesting matchup in the rain and the Eagles will make it really interesting if they can win the battle in the trenches. Go Birds! |

It turned out to be a bit more of a struggle than I thought it was going to be, so I decided to simply sort it by WAR. Does that mean that sometimes a better player got left off the list for a player who simply had a longer career? Absolutely. But WAR is a nice simple stat. So, here's the list!

I asked my program of 5-11 year olds for name suggestions (boy) as a way to announce my pregnancy. The list is interesting! Only one kid suggested their own name- I was surprised! My personal favorites have been Vader and Purple, but I told those kids straight up- no. Haha.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

TL/DR: read the bolding
The gospel topics essay on the First Vision Accounts tries desperately to spin a narrative that the First Vision Accounts all describe "one personage, then another" by stretching "the Lord opened the heavens upon me and I saw the Lord" in the 1832 Account to make it mean "God and Jesus Christ".
The only problem is that the first credible, recorded account about "one personage, then another" is the 1835 account which starts out detailing a problematic encounter with "Joshua the Jewish minister", so the Joseph Smith Papers had to add a whitewashed biography, that is pretty damning by itself:
>"Matthews, Robert AKA: Joshua the Jewish minister AKA: Matthias the Prophet -
17881βca. 1841.2 Carpenter, joiner, merchant, minister. Adopted beliefs of Methodism and then Judaism. . . . Claimed to be God the Father reincarnated in body of Matthias, the ancient apostle. Prophesied destruction of Albany, 1830. . . . Committed to hospital for the insane at Bellevue, New York City, for a time. Little is known of Matthews after his 1835 visit with JS at Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio."
But that didn't stop Joseph Smith from picking him to be the first recorded person to know about the "first vision" and he even asked "Joshua" for a lecture, see JSP Journal 1835-1836, Pgs. 22-29 here.
They must have been kindred spirits, since Robert Matthews had a checkered past:
>"Robert Mathews was seven when his parents died and he was raised by the elders of the βAnti-Burgher,β sect of the Presbyterian Church. . . ., he spent most of his time in a misdirected quest for religious truth . . . Mathews proclaimed that he was not Christian at all, that his ancestors had been Hebrews.
On June 20, 1830 Mathews was arrested for disrupting a church service in Argyle, New York. After his arrest, Robert Mathews moved back to Manhattan and changed his name to the Prophet Matthias β possibly after the apostle Matthias who replaced Judas . . .
Many of those he attracted to his sermons, including Elijah Pierson and Benjamin Folger, were wealthy men and they furnished Matthias with the luxuries that they had denied themselves. . . .
Matthias was called βFath

Muad'Dib could indeed see the Future, but you must understand the limits of this power. Think of sight. You have eyes, yet cannot see without light. If you are on the floor of a valley, you cannot see beyond your valley. Just so, Muad'Dib could not always choose to look across the mysterious terrain. He tells us, that a single obscure decision of prophecy, perhaps the choice of one word over another, could change the entire aspect of the future. He tells us "The vision of time is broad, but when you pass through it, time becomes a narrow door." And always, he fought the temptation to choose a clear, safe, course, warning "That path leads ever down into stagnation."

Hero/sage+whore/virgin= the four pole-arity's represented by the cross.
Also known as the four fold path
As applied to self not others
The hero wants to rule the world, the sage wants to save the world,
The whore wants to destroy the world and the virgin wants a make believe one.
Idea#2
Using intertwined particles to create a device that can communicate in real time for both holders
Meaning if a person got on a space ship and traveled into the future he would still be able to communicate with those he left in the past
Obviously this is how 3(left middle right) paths leading in 3 different directions(timelines/evolutionary paths) and the law of 2 came to be.forwards backwards and then sideways is the trick to it.
The problem with religion is the same as politics, regardless of the grand idea's
That gave birth to it. Its mostly used for the manipulation of the weak-minded
That being said it is time to say thank you to those who helped me to do this
And those who opposed me as well, because you helped me keep going
When I really didn't want to any more and would you have taken me seriously if I
Had just given you the answers without the show?
they have been moving people forward from the past to play petty
games with people by the looks of it. pretending to not age or to get younger. they have also been replacing people that way i think.
suppression and repression are the main cause of the problem. And lack of honor and respect of course. Real morals like mutua

FiveThirtyEight has a player projection model they use to decide how good a player might be. Using the rosters listed from each team on ESPN (which may not be completely up-to-date), I wrote down what it had to say about each prospect .
Atlanta Hawks
Boston Celtics
Brooklyn Nets
Charlotte Hornets
Hi guys, I'm from Australia where we have a State of Origin competition for rugby league and formerly our own code of football. Basically, you represent the state where you played junior footy and I've made an NBA version for the last couple of years, so here's my latest edition.
Players represent their 'state of origin', and I have used the state they played high school ball in to decide which state they represent. I am mindful of prep and boarding schools so I have used common sense; for example D'Angelo Russell grew up in Kentucky, spent 1 year at a Kentucky high school and then 3 at the Montverde Academy in Florida, he would play for Kentucky in this scenario.
I also decided to include Canada as well. Here's all 50 states + Canada ranked with their teams:
No NBA representation
