A list of puns related to "Rise Against Hunger"
I'm still a bit in awe at what you guys have managed to do here.
I wasn't sure what this would look like when I started it up 7 years ago, I was basically just looking to start up a place where a few of us could hop on and do some stupid stuff online without having to join a VFW where I'd have to attend practices and adhere to rank etc etc, and when we got our 10th subscriber I thought we'd hit the peak, and man I was super stoked.
I can't help but to smile when I think back on that. Before DCS World had even become a modular thing we'd jump on just about every night to teach and learn everything we could about the A-10 and the Ka-50, that experience was so rewarding for us that soon we'd started the tradition of Tuesday Night Noob where we'd invite everyone we could to come learn some new system, weapon, or feature and help people make the intimidating jump from playing single player to flying with friends online.
We never stopped being surprised at every new milestone we hit, first 100, then 1000, we had no idea at the time that so many people would be interested. And the thing that surprised me the most was that no matter how big we got, we never lost that core ideal of being the most helpful, noob friendly place to play DCS online. I figured that we'd lose that as we got more members, but you guys bought in on it all the way, and even now with 20k subscribers, thousands in the Discord, hundreds of active members, and two dedicated servers that often are the most popular on any given evening, I cannot think of a place that gives new and veteran players alike a better experience when it comes to playing this game online (exceeppppttt maybe PvP but we're working on that!). And that's all because of you guys. You fostered that beneficent spirit, helped thousands of new pilots, encouraged countless players to test the online multiplayer waters, made friends, sub-communities, and good times that we'll remember for the rest of our lives.
Hoggit is one of my proudest accomplishments, and we haven't always been perfect, but it is a god damned privilege to bring you guys and gals things like GAW and TNN. Seeing this community grow, seeing all the contributions that you guys make helping new players, helping with code and features, helping with funding, and thinking about the friends I've made and the friendships I've seen spring up around Hoggit, it all inspires me to keep going, and it renews my commitment to you guys to provide the best

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert in options, but I know that the topic has been taboo in this sub... And for no good reason as well. There are safe options strategies that can and should be discussed in our fight for the MOASS. Every path should be sought out. Charles Gradante in the post recently suppressed on Reddit pretty much validates that it was Call options on GME that mooned the price. Go watch it if you haven't... It gives me chills.
If you want MOASS as bad as I do, you'll seek out all paths to it. Price is extremely low right now which means options are VERY cheap. With the upcoming price action in January (FTDs due), we could very much see a squeeze in January. I know enough about options that you'd want to buy expiration dates after the expected price movement so maybe Feb or March expiration dates might be worth noting.
I am in no way against DRS... But I'm not against call options either. Heck DFV was all about calls and exercising options when they went in the money. I think it's an absolute shame call options aren't being talked about as openly as it should. I'd like to change that here in this sub.

#An Introduction to Piracy
Most of us have torrented something at some point, whether itβs a game, movie, book, song or TV show, but just for those who havenβt, Iβll explain the basics.
When you go to a site like The Pirate Bay or Kick Ass Torrents, and click βDownload Torrentβ, all youβre really getting is a link. Programmes like Bittorrent or Vuze are able to open those links, and will let you download almost any file, legal or not. But youβre not downloading it from a server somewhere, a website, or a single person, youβre downloading it from dozens, sometimes thousands of people at the same time, all around the world. Those are known as βseedersβ. And while you do that, other people are downloading the file from you. Theyβre βleechersβ. The original distributor of the file created that torrent, and submitted it to torrenting websites so that other people could find it, but once theyβve shared the full file once, they can break off their connection to the torrent.
This is known as βPeer to Peerβ file sharing, and itβs the primary means of distributing media illegally, because itβs basically impossible to stop. If a website is hosting episodes of Game of Thrones, you can shut the website down. If a person is sending out files, you can sue them. But no company or corporation, however powerful, can stop a torrent (though many have tried).
Sharing a movie or a song is easy β you just distribute the file. It will work no matter who downloads it. But games are different. Since a game is made up of loads of files working in tandem and tangled up in a confusing spider-web of code, the developer is able to βbooby trapβ the game so that it doesnβt work when itβs copied.
For as long as developers have been doing this, savvy hackers and programmers have been working to undo it. When they do, the developers go back to the drawing board and come up with something smarter.
Cassettes were easily duplicated, so the industry invented consoles with more secure cartridges and built-in ROMs that could detect fakes. Pirates reverse-engineered the consoles to make their own duplicate consoles which could run both legitimate and fake copies. So the industry moved to CDs, because they had more storage space and could be fitted with new security features. Pirates cracked the CDs. Developers started requiring a game key, so pirates created key-genera

My sibling is donating charity in my name as a gift. I want this to go toward feeding people, but as I started looking at food banks I realized I didn't want any money to go toward the consumption of animal products. I was looking into Food For Life but someone said it's a scam, now I'm not sure which would org would use the money for largest direct impact. Any suggestions?
