Ride the Pink Horse Puns

I'm a new to the sub but looking around I didn't see many mentions of this fantastic film. Not only is the location novel but the patter of the characters is up there as some of the best. What really sells the film for me is the long take at the beginning of the movie that sets up for a good payoff later. How does everyone else feel about this film?

1. Gagin may be the most cynical Noir character I have seen yet. There is a anger and bitterness just beneath the surface that he just keeps pushing down except when he can't.

2. I loved the shot of the children on the carousel while Pancho gets worked over. They don't want to see it hut it just keeps circling back around.

3. Such a sad goodbye.

4. A bad guy with a hearing aide. Little touches like this make this movie different.

5. I love Noir and this one just jumped into my top 5. I just finished watching not 30 minutes ago and I am going to watch it again.

So basically this wasn’t a problem when I was just trotting jumps but now when we are jumping or even on flat she always takes off into canter so basically my instructor wants a nice trot around the arena in front of the rest of the group and bang she’s cantering I’ve been riding for 3 years so I know how to keep a hors at a steady pace but this is just out of hand

So i ride and also volunteer as a coach assistant at this riding school, there’s this girl she’s 14-15 yrs old and she’s a bit overweight, approximately (~85-90 kg). The horses in the school are all baladi (egyptian) horses (mares), which aren’t very big compared to western horses, the average weight of an Egyptian horse is 400 kg, and i believe the school horses weigh less than the average since they are all pretty slim.

So this girl was riding one of the horses who’s a bit more stronger than the others, but after a few lessons this horse started to lame when ever she rides her, and one time she and the horse both fell and after that the horse started to show back pain in other lessons too and when the vets checked her they said her back is severely damaged, so the girl started to ride another horse for few weeks and today this other horse also started to lame.

The coach and the grooms are very upset and worried for the horses health, but it’s a very complicated situation, should we tell the girl to stop riding until she loses weight and hurt her feelings alot! Or should we let her keep riding and hurt the horses even more!

The other problem is that the pain killers these horses take cost more then her classes tuition fees!

If anyone has any recommendations on how to approach this problem please advise!

I have a 5 y/o QH that I take on 2 hour trail rides in the summer to ride to town and through a few trails. I don't do it very often, maybe 2 or 3 times a month in the summer, with long breaks in between. I wonder if it is hard on her joints or mind to be ridden that long, but she never seems to act up or be upset when I ride. Im going to try and start a two year old this year (dw I won't be riding until he's 3-4) but maybe I could lead him while on my other horse on these long rides and it would help him understand ques and learn endurance. My 5 y/o is very well behaved and I believe she's ready to lead another horse. I'd saddle the 2 y/o and maybe attach a few empty water bottles or something for desensitization. He's held a saddle before and with minimal issues. Lmk what you think.
