A list of puns related to "Richard Rudolph"
Minnie Riperton Died in Her Husband Richard Rudolph's Arms at 31 β Inside Their Interracial Marriage https://mcutimes.com/minnie-riperton-died-in-her-husband-richard-rudolphs-arms-at-31-inside-their-interracial-marriage/
First and foremost, why did he try to kill me in 1996? How did Richard Jewell get blamed so quickly and assumed guilty? Did the media cook it all up or were they fed bad info? Was there a rise in extremist groups at that time or is that just my bias?
Rudolph was captured, if I remember correctly, dumpster diving in NC after spending a long time evading capture on the Appalachian Trail. How long was he on the trail? Did he just hike like a dirt bag hiker or was he more stationary? How did he ultimately get caught?
Crack an egg of knowledge on me, please.
Rotten Tomatoes: 100% (9.20 in average rating) with 15 reviews
Metacritic: 95/100 (12 critics)
As with other movies, the scores are set to change as time passes. Meanwhile, I'll post some short reviews on the movie.
> At its best, Licorice Pizza demonstrates a lightness of touch that hasnβt been so evident in Andersonβs work since Boogie Nights, nowhere more so than in the fabulously lived-in scenes with Alana and her family, played to considerable amusement by Haimβs actual sisters and parents. But the thrilling propulsion of Boogie Nights is matched here only in fits and starts. The movie, particularly in its meandering second hour, often leaves you wondering where itβs going, more in frustration than curiosity.
-David Rooney, The Hollywood Reporter
> In βLicorice Pizza,β time isnβt something that keeps people apart β itβs the only thing that allows them to find each other in the first place. And this euphoric movie doesnβt waste a minute of it.
> This is lighter and sunnier than previous Anderson pictures; subtract the porn and indeed the sex from "Boogie Nights" and you have something like it; remove the metaphysical anxiety from "Inherent Vice" and that comes reasonably close, too. Itβs such a delectable film: Iβll be cutting myself another slice very soon.
-Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian: 5/5
> Thereβs an extraordinary ensemble here, but itβs these two untried leads who elevate βLicorice Pizzaβ to the joyful, engrossing experience that it is. Itβs certainly of a piece with Andersonβs filmography β the romanticism of βPunch-Drunk Loveβ meets the terrain of βBoogie Nightsβ β but itβs altogether a one-of-a-kind delight from a daring and always-surprising filmmaker.
> In a world of algorithmically sorted content, Andersonβs ninth film, and his first since 2017βs Phantom Thread, is irresistibly hard to pin down: youβd have to go back around 50 years, to the likes of Hal Ashbyβs Shampoo or Peter Bogd

But it makes me cringe that sometimes in AHS, it uses real historical character harshly. Like, Elizabeth Short, Marie Laveau, Rudolph Valentino, Amelia Earhart, Mamie Eisenhower, etc. For example, Valentino was a vampire and his head was bashed by bullets. Eisenhower had relationship with alien Android and her head was exploded.
Some of them were bad people(Delphine LaLaurie or Richard Ramirez) who deserve that in the show, but I thought Earhart or Eisenhower were kinda respectable people. I mean, is it OK? Isn't it offensive?
I am not being sarcastic, just want to know your thoughts. Sorry for bad English.
EDIT: I've read all of your comments, and I get it now! Thank you all for kind explanation and sharing thoughts. π₯°
Philadelphia Eagles (5-6) at the New Giants (3-7) |
---|
The Eagles put together another solid win against a bad team as they took care of the injury ridden Saints 40-29. The Eagles again won, pounding the ball on the ground running for 242 yards against the Saints number 1 ranked rush defense coming into the game. The Eagles defense did their part as well, holding the Saints in check for most of the day. The defense for the Eagles did their part on the scoreboard as Darius Slay took an INT 51 yards for the score, it was one of the 3 turnovers the defense forced on the day. The Eagles will look to build off that win as they take a trip up I95 Sunday to take on the division rival New York Giants. The Giants did not fare as well as the Eagles in week 11, falling to the defending Champion Broncos 30-10 which led to the firing of offensive Coordinator Jason Garrett. The Eagles should win this game, but they have had difficulty keeping Saquan Barkley and Daniel Jones in check in the past. The Giants offense could look different and unpredictable this week especially with all their skill players back and a new play caller. Gannon will need to be on his game and figure out a way to get pressure on Jones and get him off his game. On offense, the Sirianni will need to continue to put his players in positions to get matchups they can exploit and pound the rock for another win this week. Go Birds! |

Administration:
Vice President: Robert M. La Follette
Secretary of State: Thomas B. Reed (1901-1902 (died)), Grover Cleveland (1902-1905)
Secretary of the Treasury: William F. Vilas
Secretary of War: William OβConnell Bradley
Attorney General: Louis Brandeis (1901 (appointed to the Supreme Court)), Frank D. Jackson (1901-1905)
Secretary of the Navy: Theodore Roosevelt
Secretary of the Interior: William Borah
Postmaster General: Myron T. Herrick
Secretary of Agriculture: Oscar Underwood
Secretary of Labor: Terence V. Powderly
Deweyβs cabinet was a diverse array of political proclivities. Former General Trades Union President and incumbent Secretary of Labor Terence V. Powderly, having served in the Trumbull, Houston, and George cabinets, agreed to serve in a fourth and remain as Secretary of Labor under President Dewey. Maineβs Thomas Brackett Reed was selected to serve as Secretary of State, bringing a conservative and anti-imperialist touch to things that would persist until his death in 1902, whereupon he was replaced with former New York Governor Grover Cleveland, a Liberal recently mired in a scandal involving his sisterβs relationship with another woman. William F. Vilas was made Secretary of the Treasury, evidencing the administrationβs shift from protectionist Federal Republican orthodoxy.
Anti-prohibitionist Kentucky Federal Republican William OβConnell Bradley was selected to serve as Secretary of War due to the intervention of Mark Twain, who vehemently protested Deweyβs initial intention to appoint Theodore Roosevelt to the post. Nonetheless, Roosevelt was placed at the Naval Department in a gesture of reconciliation to party Houstonians. Louis Brandeis was selected as Attorney General once more, while 35 year old Farmer-Labor Representative William Borah of Idaho was made Secretary of the Interior, a controversial choice publicly opposed by Federal Republican leaders such as William McKinley. Ohio anti-prohibition Federal Republican Myron T. Herrick and Alabama Liberal Oscar Underwood were granted the Postal and Agriculture positions, respectively.
With the politically inexperienced Dewey lacking many connections or legislative acumen, heightened by his belief in a weak executive, his cabinet and Vice President La Follette wielded large

Curiosity piqued, I went from there and scanned over all NBA Hall of Famers and compiled their active teammates. And then did it with baseball. The NFL, with their much larger rosters, was a bit frightening, but here it is at last! First, a few ground rules.
A. Each player must have either played this year, or be on the injured reserve. No free agents, so players like Larry Fitzgerald were disqualified from this exercise.
B. Practice Squad DOES count. Tahir Whitehead played with Calvin and he's on a practice squad this year, I counted him. On the flip side, TO only played on the Seahawks practice squad in 2012, but I still counted the Hawks teammates.
C. Finally- I'm anything but perfect! I skimmed over all these rosters over a few hours, and I'm sure I missed a few here or there. Only caught Broncos Brett Kern, Steelers Brian Hoyer and Falcons Dustin Colquitt at the last moment. If you see where I erred, don't be afraid to correct me- I also used the rosters on Wikipedia, because Football Reference is murderously slow, so that might not capture the full season. Anyway, the players!

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hello all! Just started making my playlist for this year. It's got 38 songs on it at the moment. Can anyone suggest some others that I can add?
Let's get this party started! π
EDIT: Tried to make the list easier to read π§βπ
Those of you who remember me from FG (or the CFB) may remember that I used to do these. And this year, I personally need holiday cheer even more than the last couple (which were not good years), so I'm going to try the same thing here, and hopefully get us talking about some cheery (or even not-cheery if you wanna go the XMas horror/action route) flicks. First I'll list my favorites - many of which I've seen more than a dozen times, especially the shorts - and then in subsequent posts, what I see between now and New Years. "The holidays" for me means (American) Thanksgiving through New Years.
* indicates shorts - these rankings mostly have to do with how much I love the films in general, but they are certainly influenced by how "festive" they make me feel - and by how often I feel compelled to return to them. Lots of contenders for the bottom 5 spots didn't make it in part because I've only seen them once.
TOP 20 HOLIDAY FLICKS
Do your worst!
