A list of puns related to "Reroute to Remain"
I just bought a house that is about 2600 sq ft. The previous owners for some reason had the modem installed in a corner of the far end of the house. Also the cable is just ran from the box, which happens to be on the furthest end of the house from the room the modem is in, along the ground tacked up on the siding in some places. It just goes directly into the side of the house as well. Super ugly. I know I could get extenders or a mesh system but I would really like to just have the modem centrally located.
There are two satellite dishes on the roof and I'm finding coax cables ran in all kinds of weird places some of them just snipped off leading no where. I don't want to begin to try to tap into anything else and won't be using a phone line or any TV services. There is a foundation vent right below where the spectrum box is at and one cable coming from that box. I'd like to pull it from its current location and bring it under the house and up through the floor in a centrally located room. So far Charter has been no help and at this point I don't mind doing the work myself. Is there any issue with this idea? Could Charter have any recourse? Is this the wrong thing to do in some way? Thanks.
Iβm looking for some advice or other options that might be useful/helpful. The drain in my garage that is used for my washing machine is backing up during the drain cycle and water is coming out the clean out and standing pipe. I had a plumber come out and snake it and hydro jet the pipes. He couldnβt remove the blockage and is recommending a reroute.
This would require digging up my garage, driveway and front yard to reroute the pipes to the main line. Heβs estimating a cost of $10k to $15k and a weeks worth of work. Iβm at a loss for words with the cost as I donβt have that kind of money and that doesnβt include the landscaping and concrete work needed to get it back the way it was.
The only other thing they wanted to do, but couldnβt do was put a camera in the pipes to determine where the blockage is. They said at some point the snake and hydro jet got past the blockage, but the couldnβt get the camera down the kitchen or garage pipes...not exactly sure why, they mentioned rust and fear of getting the camera stuck.
Some other info that might be helpful. The house was built in the 60βs and I believe has the original drain system. The main line and water pipes are all copper and the waste lines are abs plastic, cast iron and galvanized piping. The house foundation is concrete slab on grade.
Iβm hoping there is another solution. I have another plumber coming out for a second opinion, but I have no idea what to ask or do. Any advice would be appreciated!
Clean out and standing pipe: Clean out
Update: Had a second opinion and they donβt think a reroute is necessary, they were able to get a camera in and find the most narrow point in pipes due to cast iron corrosion. They are recommending to descale the pipes, hydro jet and add a main line clean out in the front yard since the house doesnβt have one. Estimate of $5k. Still very expensive, but not $10k and donβt have to dig up my garage and driveway.
I'm an express driver. I'm not sure how it works for ground. We are, at my station, instructed to drop off stuff at Office or Walgreens first thing in the morning. Getting it at the the station will be a headache due to the amount of freight there. Yes it's a hassle, but it's your safest bet. Also know that the sooner you do this, the less of a headache it will be. Do not wait until the week of Christmas.
I completed my first play through a few months ago, and am currently going through the Edgewater storyline in my new one. Last time, I rerouted power to Edgewater and then removed reed and convinced Adelaide and her followers to return. I was happy with this outcome for the most part, and the endgame mention of it was satisfying, but I really disliked double crossing Adelaide like that. Maybe Iβm being pedantic, but is there a way to convince her to return to Edgewater before I reroute power? Could I depose reed and get her to return as I had the first time without having to take away power first?
I know the title is kind of rediculous, and I know I could almost certainly make this myself, but Im looking for a point in the right direction for if this thing already exists.
Essentially, Im looking to make a service for myself that will;
listen on a domain name using a free dns (I can do that)
Take requests by going to that domain to boot up a new docker container that I will be making (probably starting with ubuntu with sshd) (I dont really know how to do that immediately)
After it has booted up, automatically connect with ssh using the same request to the ubuntu container. (I can program that probably)
Be secure, preferably using an ssh key level of security on the host machine before the container is ever made (i dont know how to make it secure really)
Gracefully shutdown and remove all containers that no longer have an ssh connection for an hour (I can probably do that, assuming I can interact with docker with a language)
I dont have a super good use for it, but it sounds cool, so I want it! :-)
Iβve had my Rift S for about a month and a half now and the jack decided to quit on me. My solution to this was to plug my headphones into my soundcard (audio technica ath-m20x cable is really long) and turn on audio mirroring. The downside to this is not only comfort with having to cables come off of you but also when using SteamVR games, you have to switch every setting over, in Oculus, in Steam, in my sound enhancer just to play a different game. I feel like there should be a feature to let you reroute the audio that goes into your headset or jack to another device and still be able to audio mirror to another device if needed. What are your guysβ thoughts on this?

We are flying out to Vegas to see national parks from the May 22 to June 4. We were thinking about doing a big loop around the Sierra Nevada from Vegas to Death Valley, to lake Tahoe, down to Yosemite/Sequoia, then back to Vegas. I'm worried that the snow is not going to make the trip worth it and it would be better to reroute and see the Grand canyon or more southern parks. Any advice?
Hello, one of the largest issues that I have with my gaming and work setup is that there isn't a good way to avoid the hassle of headphone output from multiple sources. I have a nintendo switch, a pc, and a ps4. I was curious if there was a device that I could purchase which would allow me to hear audio from all 3 at the same time? Is that even possible? I use wired headphones. I have heard of audio mixers where you can plug a bunch of audio cables into it and switch output but that isn't exactly what I'm looking for.
If there isn't a device like the one that I am looking for, is it possible to somehow have all the audio from my nintendo switch and ps4 playing on my desktop so I can just rely on one 3.5 mm port? So that I could just plug my headset into my pc and be able to hear all audios? I have an Elgato HD60S as well if it makes a difference.
