Thy Grief Eternal and Lord of Putrefaction made some of my favourite death/doom. It's slow and atmospheric but full of blast beats and low growls. Lord of Putrefaction have some grind influence and Thy Grief Eternal have a few riffs that sound like slowed down Sabbath. Is there anything like this?

Must have:

-Intros/outros that aren't just keyboard aaaaaaaaaaahs

-Cool non-metal instruments like gongs, bells and organs

-Evil riffs

-Growls

-Blast beats

-Shitty recording quality

This is a very negative rant and it might even end up getting deleted but I just wanted to get it off my chest. Kaitlyn's recent social media activity and Hannah B's pathetic shill where she didn't even make or show the food she was shilling inspired this post.

I think people really need to stop putting BN contestants on a pedestal (ex. Calling contestants your "lord and saviour", your "queen", taking pictures with them and acting like you just met a huge celebrity). These contestants are just NORMAL people. They are no better than me or you. All they did was go on a show where the lead liked them enough to keep them long enough.

These people have done NOTHING for us. They come on the show for themselves and they shill products so they can make $$$. The least these people can do to show their gratitude for their followers is to shill products wholeheartedly and honestly and be respectful when the audience tries to give you feedback for a podcast that is MEANT TO ENTERTAIN YOUR FOLLOWERS. But nope. They complain about us instead.

I am on this sub for the unverified tea, spoilers and the discussions about all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Reality TV isn't a happy, positive genre. Reality TV is for people who like DRAMA and like watching people embarass themselves. We are allowed to support reality TV people but just as much as we support anyone else in our lives. We don't need to gush over them and blindly agree with everything they say/do, they are just people and they are just in it for themselves.

I don't want this sub to turn into a stan subreddit. These contestants already act entitled, we don't need to contribute to it by gushing over them (ex. Posting pics with them, posting their picture, saying "we don't deserve them", "our queen", etc), especially on this sub.

TL;DR: I'm tired of people acting like these bachelor nation contestants are superior than us. I like being critical and not blindly supporting people who aren't contributing anything of real value.

To start with she is representative of the people who will be most affected by the issue. Climate change is generational theft: We live easy lives with abundant material wealth, but manage to pass the environmental impact onto the next generations. Democracy is an ill-suited system when it comes to the rights of unborn generations and those who are too young to have the right to vote. Greta is well informed about climate change, but she asks climatologists to help review her speeches, to make sure there are no errors. In other words, she's damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. If she does it on her own she's the stupid kid who is lecturing adults. If she gets help from people, she's a mouthpiece of the radical left.

I get home, open the front door, and get engulfed by the rancorous stench of marijuana and cigarettes.

I walk into my room, expecting the relief of clean air, but get greeted by the stench.

I go to work at my office, where we work with very clean-cut, white-collar, highly successful clientele, and I can smell marijuana and cigarettes on my clothes.

I have already, respectfully made clear to my roommate that smoking in the house causes practical issues. They then come up with a million counter arguments as to why they have to sit in the house when they smoke. I listen intently, and, wanting to brainstorm solutions, suggest a number of different places nearby where they can partake. My roommate then engineers a laundry list of excuses as to why each of these convenient options cause them too much trouble.

Having met this resistance, I finally tell my roommate 1) I have allergies and asthma, so this is a serious issue for me 2) if I can’t detect the fumes and odors, I don’t care as much, because obviously I don’t know at that point. The implication being that if they smoke in their room and ventilate it well enough, I won’t know; and if I and anyone else doesn’t know, I have less of an issue.

Well, they’ve been smoking a ton, regardless, and now my room smells like marijuana. Even worse, my boss, coworkers, and even clients have told me that I smell odd, as of late.

I find it highly inconsiderate that, during the application process, my roommate promised that they don’t smoke pot and that they have no problem smoking outside. Throughout the application process, they beg and plead me to let them move in as my roommate, saying their current living situation is drug-riddled and lawless.

Now, having adroitly fibbed their onto the lease, the roommate has done a 180. Like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, they have shedded the wool and barren their fangs.

I have told them that I have asthma and that this is a serious issue for me and have pleaded for them to stop, but they seem not to care. I have even tried to help them, telling them of nice places they can go to smoke, but they are too lazy.

I diligently uphold every aspect of our legal and non-legal agreements, and I perceive a lack of reciprocity. I communicate to them in a friendly, upbeat, positive manner, and use suggestion, rather than instruction, to communicate.

How do I respectfully communicate to them that this behavior needs to stop?
