I have a post from 3 months ago about NA Selank I ordered from science . bio website. If you read it, it explains how I only ever tried it once and it was horrible. The worst experience of my life. The horrible trip state lasted strong for 10 days and lessened after but never went away. Well 3 months later and I still feel extremely depersonalized, like I'm not in my body and don't know where I am half the time.
If anyone knows of anyway to counter this or has any insight into what happened inside my brain/ body, please help. I don't know what to do anymore and I'm about to give up.

Out of all the enemy types, the Retch in particular screams of unfair game design. Everything about this particular mutation really just pisses me off.
For one thing, it can aim it's vomit in the middle of vomiting? How does that work? It's vision should be completely obscured by the torrent of vomit spewing up infront of it's face so how does it know you are strafing to the right so that it can rotate it's stream to keep hitting you? This forces you to actually turn away from the retch and use walking speed to get out of the danger area, which also forces you to be unable to fire at it's weak spot on the head before it turns around and runs away.
The running away part? Also infuriating. I cannot count how many times a retch has run away into a position where you can't reach it due to invisible walls or other impassable obstacle so that you can't deal with it until it comes back again to rain vomit all over your party.
Additionally, it's vomit has too great a range, it can literally vomit across the distance of multiple football fields. I don't know if there even IS a limit on how far it can attack from but at times it seems to be able to attack from multiple kilometers away which given that the attack is a liquid spray, this is physically impossible for it to do.
and also, because the vomit travels in an arc, it can attack the team from positions where the team cannot retaliate. The only arc-based weapons the cleaners have access to are grenades, but unlike the limitless range of the vomit, grenades actually do have to obey the laws of physics and can't be lobbed at an enemy two kilometers away.
This makes this enemy extremely unfair to deal with. especially in cases where it attacks from positions it's safe in, before retreating beyond the map bounds so you can't even chase it down and finish it off.
Something really should be done about this enemy. It may not be game breaking, or the most devastating mutation to deal with, but it has, by far, the most unfair and unpleasant enemy design in the game.

As the title says, I donβt actually listen to Portuguese words and derive a meaning from it, I just know of the words. If Iβm listening to a sentence, I will know the words being said, Iβll be able to write that sentence down but itβs not until I write down the sentence that my brain then realises what the sentence means.
Iβm aware that learning a new language will mean having to create associations for each word to the point I can do in English. However Iβve been learning for 6 months now and for some reason, whenever I listen to it being spoken, my brain simply cannot process any form of association for each word. Normally when learning a language, you will naturally go βcasa, that means house,β then you picture a house as a result until eventually you hear βcasaβ and a picture of a house is already in your head
The trouble I have is that when listening to Portuguese, my brain doesnβt even start to make that link. It just goes βcasa, I know that wordβ but doesnβt actually begin to process the meaning of that word until itβs written down then I will associate it with a house like I would if I was fluent.
The best way I can describe it is like seeing a celebrityβs face everywhere but you donβt know their name except apply that to listening.
I want to know if this is normal? I donβt have a learning disability at all, far from it, so I canβt attribute this to anything mentally.

I feel like I have ADD - I can't keep my attention on work to save my life. And even when I do work I flit from problem to problem to email to chat message and don't focus on getting items resolved. Which is just not like me AT ALL.
I've read about mom-brain. I've heard mom's on Reddit say they've got the 'dumb'. I don't really feel forgetful or less smart though. Just antsy and my attention wanders so much. And it's not like I'm sat here worried about my baby in daycare either -- though I do let myself get a little distracted by that some days. Pings on my phone, my dog needing to go out, making lunch, husband wandering around making cups of tea, frigging pumping all throw me completely off my game. I have also never had these kind of concentration problems in my life.

Im just looking for some advice. Like a lot of my generation my attention span has been fucked and my dopamine receptors totally hijacked. Iβll give a little explanation of what I mean:
I like to read, both in theory and in practice. However itβs hard for me to get myself to read because most of the time. Itβs not because I get bored, I like the stories, itβs just that it doesnβt give me that instant gratification. Every few pages Iβll think to myself βfuck this I should go play a gameβ or βfuck this I should go on Instagramβ or βfuck this I should go Jack offβ etc etc.
How can I fuck this. I know that βself disciplineβ is a start, but thatβs a bit vague. Iβm just looking for some concrete advice I can implement in my life to fix my brain a bit.

I have had a rough few weeks. This isn't the first time I've gotten high during the past few weeks (I did yesterday even) but man, intrusive thoughts and self criticism galore!
How do you turn around going down a bad mental pathway? I took gummies so I'm gonna be high for quite a while longer, I don't wanna spend all night like this!
Update: Thank you all for the great suggestions, I put on a show Iβve been wanting to watch and used some mindfulness to immerse myself in it and that helped so much! Next time (if there is one), Iβll def add some CBD to the mix.
Iβm male, 21 and donβt watch porn anymore. To be more specific, I never feel horny. I desire sex and have it often, but I never feel the actual sensation of horniness that I felt in my pre porn days. That being the intense rush and sensation in your belly. I feel it to an extent but itβs numb, and I feel like Iβm missing out and I canβt figure out why I donβt get it.
I exercise and eat healthily so I donβt know what it a. Something interesting is that I recently smoked weed and felt the sensation, like I described, that primal rush. This makes me think the issue might be somewhat psychological but I canβt figure out how to remedy it .

For context: I was having a hard time describing to my partner and the jeweler exactly what I was hoping the side stones might look like. So, I decided to try to photoshop what I was imagining.
The setting/band is actually just altered from one the company already sells. It's has nice smooth curves, and almost has a signet-like flair to it. The original band doesn't have the side stones.
My changes: I added the sapphire side stones. I also switched the centre stone to a sapphire with more similar dimensions to the heirloom stone I'd like to use, and adjusted the setting accordingly. It's not my proudest photoshop, but I think it gets the point across.
Is this kind of flush setting for the side stones even possible? The band does kind of curve up toward the center setting, and I'm afraid side stones might look wonky.
Also, do you think it will be too difficult to source this shape for the sapphire side stones? Would I be better off going for diamonds in this shape? Or a different shape altogether? More than one side stone?
We are going in for a custom ring consult after the holidays (once I actually have the heirloom stones on hand), but I'd love to get an idea of what I could expect them to say about my ideas, or what alterations they might suggest!

I finally published my game 'Boris the Sloth (game trailer link)' to Android & iOS and wanted to do a bit of a retrospective on the project. I spent 7 months and ~1,000 hours making this game. Probably like many of you on this forum, this was my first game project.
I hope this information helps someone and if you have any additional questions, please ask! I tried to keep it link heavy to be as useful and informative as possible.
Unity (of course)
Ruby's Adventure was the first tutorial I ever did for Unity and I basically stepped directly into making my game after completing this tutorial. I thought it was overall a very good starting point for a beginner with some coding experience. I preferred that it was text/step based as well and not a video. Check comments section on tutorial if you get stuck, some menus have changed in Unity since it was made.
After this tutorial, I just googled specific needs/bugs to resolve issues. It's truly amazing how much stuff is out there already for Unity.
I got a lot of assets from the Unity Asset Store & GameDevMarket. I found that these had the highest quality assets. I did get a few from OpenGameArt as well, but found the quality there is hit or miss.
I also commissioned a few still frames for cutscenes from an artist friend, which I used for in-game cutscenes, social media posts, logos, and banners. I was also able to take this artwork and make the main characters animations I used in the game, which I discuss in the next section.
I wasn't sure where to start with this when I first started my project, and ultimately I continued to use Gimp2 for editing sprites/backgrounds since it was what I was already familiar with. If you aren't familiar with Gimp, it is a free photoshop alternative. Some hate it, some love it (I personally am in the middle of a love/hate relationship with it).
