You know, that group that where in the second concert in the jamboree.

Don't know if any of you have heard of this band, but they did pretty well a few years back on America's Got Talent. Didn't win, but they got themselves a Vegas gig and have done well for themselves since. They're from NH, travel back several times a year, and always find something fun to do in their home town area and even when in transit. Like, pulling over and live streaming an impromptu percussion session on whatever is nearby. Signs, junk, trees, a random bathroom..

They're also heavily involved in their charitable foundation Legacy X, where they.. well, the list is pretty long at this point. Anti bullying initiatives, buying Christmas toys for underprivileged kids (and driving a box truck across country picking up donations along the way), buying new back-to-school clothes and supplies for kids, you name it. Hell, they do random free shows like the time they took over a Home Depot, then took everyone who could make it out for ice cream at a local Coldstone. One time they took everyone out for pizza.

More recently, they have a TV show called "Chaos and Kindness" where they focus on doing good deeds for those the fans vote on needing it the most. The first episode was a total heartbreaker of a story where they took a man with a lot of tragedy in his life to the Super Bowl. A recent episode had them doing a 1-take show where they went to a town to do as many small good deeds as they could in the time they had available.

A long post, yes, but I feel like the group, especially Justin, deserves more credit for the sheer energy he puts into getting his hands dirty trying to help others and to try to inspire some positive change in this world. Something we could use more of.

Tried to collect as many as I could. In my dressing gown. In the rain. Tragic sight. Back in bed now and the performance has resumed.

In case you haven’t heard, the new issue people in this community have with the the last two episodes is it’s choice of OST. The claim is that 1) Ashes on the Fire is overplayed and 2) is limiting some of the enjoyment due to its redundancy. My goal with this post is to quickly highlight what’s true and what’s false with these two claims.

Let’s start with what’s true: nothing.

Okay let’s move on to what’s false:

Ashes was played a total of 1 time in the past two episodes (40 minutes of content give or take). How do I know this? Well it’s simple, I actually took a little bit of effort and rewatched both episodes, something many of those who make these two claims have not actually done.

Here’s a quick rundown of the OST usage, in order, for both episodes:

[JUDGEMENT]

1. New OST, never before used and unreleased to the public.
2. OP
3. The Warriors
4. Nightmare
5. New OST (seems like a remix of Ashes and Warriors as it recycles the main motif of season 4, but it stands on its own either way).
6. Nowhere to Go
7. ED

[SNEAK ATTACK]

1. Cold Light
2. New OST (smooth transition from Cold Light)
3. APETITAN (which is what everyone was hoping for too)
4. OP
5. APETITAN again
6. New OST
7. Sawano OST
8. Some percussion
9. Sawano OST
10. The Fall of Marley
11. Atonement

And then finally… after roughly 35 minutes of waiting… the INCREDIBLY annoying and overused track “Ashes on the Fire” actually plays. May I add, despite having several different fights, the main theme for the season only played in the last few minutes of this recent episode.

What have we learned from all of this? Well, I think that AoT fans who get so worked-up and heated over the damn OST picks being too repetitive DESPITE it 1) being the main musical motif of the season, reserved for big moments of payoff (which is what these last two episodes are), and 2) not even being used more than once in spite of this, really need to reevaluate their views.

Even if you take it to the extreme, it still reflects poorly on your character. Let’s say EVERY track during the fight scenes were Ashes, would it be fair to get genuinely upset and let it affect your opinion of the episode? The answer is still no.

Don’t get me wrong, the music choice IS important, but not to the degree that some people in the community would like to suggest. The music should be complimentary to the animation and story, not a main comp

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.

Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
