The tool creates php code for adding custom colors to the Gutenberg editor as recommended by WordPress documentation. The point is that when you have a highly designed site that needs consistency across pages, it's laborious to add all the php and css code for each color (you need both the add_theme_support code and the css declarations for the colors to work properly.)

Hi guys,
I am using Extra theme (Divi's brother), with the "classic editor" option enabled since it is way faster for me to write posts (plain text, occasionally an image or two) this way than by using Gutenberg, divi builder or whatever. It works flawlessly.
A few days ago I tried enabling PHP 8.0.2 on my hot (SiteGround) and the site seems to work well and without any major hiccup in the quick tests conducted. However, now, when editing a post the classic editor is broken as well as the yoast plugin below. The visual editor does not work, html seems to work but when I switch back to visual all is lost, same when I save as draft. I had to quickly revert to php 7.4 and all is well.
Can someone help me please? can I upgrade to php 8 but still keep the classic editor, or is it somehow impossible and Gutenberg or Divi are the only choices?

I am long-time lurker here, i found out that someone created fork of Comet Cache and improved it. Also fixed the ongoing errors after WordPress 5 and recent versions of PHP. This was huge problem because almost all of the installations with CC are throwing errors.
I thought this will be useful for you too. I used Comet Cache on around 7-8 installs and i didn't found solution so far to fix the problems. Thanks to the awesome open source community, this will be the replacement.

I am currently using PHPstorm IDE but for a number of reasons am looking to change to something new. I would need either another IDE or a Code Editor that allows me to run SSH, write PHP code, show my MySQL DB and have FTP / Synchronisation support to upload my project to my servers.
I was fiddling around with Brackets which I personally quite like for writing code for web design projects, but lacks a bit in terms of PHP support. Still, biggest problem with Brackets is the lack of proper (S)FTP plugins that work reliably.
Any recommendations? Happy to pay for any product that's less than 200 USD a year.
