A list of puns related to "Raphael von Bargen"
Liebe Freunde,
Welches Quin soll man getten?

20:35 Worรผber streitet ihr oft?
23:30 Habt ihr euch schonmal gekรผsst?

Ich hoffe euch gefรคllt der Podcast! Diesen Donnerstag kommt nรคmlich bereits der Nรคchste :)
In ewiger Liebe,

Prolly not. I didnt, not until just about 20 minutes ago. He was an actor who starred in Seinfeld and Super troopers, among others. He never married and had no kids, and was described by people who saw him around town as seemingly lonely and depressed. Due to his diabetes, he had to have his leg amputated. And in 2012, he went on to attempt suicide, only to have his attempt fail after shooting himself through the temple with a .38, permanently blinding him. He went on to live for three more years, alone, without a leg and blind until he died March of last year due to complications from diabetes. Neither his suicide attempt, nor death, gained much attention, and not much info can be found on him today. Im not sure why I wrote this, other than to help ease my conscience because it bugs me to see some man like this go throughout life, living alone, suffering alone, and eventually dying alone. You always hear about worst case scenarios like this happening, but no one really paid much heed to it. Many assume that FAs eventually just find someone and marry, but this case just goes to show, someone who is relatively somewhat well known can ultimately be consumed by FAness like anyone of us here can. I feel sorry for this guy, and I wanted him to be just remembered a little bit more by writing this post. I personally never saw him in any film or series, but by just listening to his 911 call after his suicide attempt, I couldn't help but feel like I understood him and his pain. I wish he was loved in this life. I wish no one had to feel that pain.
Edit: This is him
I wish there was something nice we could do.
Von Bargen, seen here in Malcolm in the Middle, O Brother Where Art Thou?, and Super Troopers, tried to take his own life a while back during what must have been the apex of a depressed period while he suffered from diabetes. He was supposed to get some toes removed and decided he'd rather just be done with it all. However, he survived, and there's been something of a media blackout on his life since then.
I know a lot of you will have the knee-jerk reaction of "well he tried to take the easy way out so why should I give a shit about him", but I hope you all have experienced this disease enough to know that we're not ourselves when we're out of whack. This fellow still has some life left in him and I'd like to be able to tell him that someone cares.
Does anyone know a diabetes foundation or something that could go through official channels to get in touch with him so a group of people could try to show him that anyone cares that he survived?
I search about once a week on google news, and google search. All I've found is links to his 911 call and the initial story about him being hospitalized but I haven't heard how he's doing. I feel really bad for the dude and hope he didn't lose his sight (since he's lost a leg and about to lose another), so any info would be appreciated.
Thanks guys.
Does anyone know the current condition of former Seinfeld character 'Mr. Kruger, Daniel Von Bargen? I haven't been able to find any updates since his failed suicide attempt.
It's been about a month since he shot himself. I'm wondering if he's recovered at all or if there are any updates?
