A list of puns related to "Post mortem interval"
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 65%. (I'm a bot)
> Little is known regarding the impact that ant scavenging can have on the carrion insect community.
> To further understand the species interactions between blow flies and ants on carrion, two insect species were used: the green bottle fly, Lucilia sericata, and the western harvester ant, Pogonomyrmex occidentalis.
> Microcosm colony trials were also performed investigating the scavenging ability of ant colonies consisting of 30-40 workers.
> In forensic cases where ant populations are high in the vicinity of a corpse, ant scavenging on blow fly eggs could delay blow fly colonization.
> The results of this experiment help to further our knowledge regarding species' interactions between ants and blow flies and how this interaction can ultimately effect PMI estimations.

Is there a post-mortem by the OB1 team? It would be nice hear what they thought worked, what didn't work, and what they would do differently. It seems to me that there is still a need for something like Openbazaar. Maybe someone else can pick up where OB1 left off and fix the issues that caused OB1 to fail.
A Blunt Force Korma
Another event comes to a close. The wacky, screwball antics of the Totally-Not-A-Saber-Or-Altria MHX take a back seat to the more serious tone once more and it comes once again to look back and reflect on these last two weeks in a rerun of what was my very first post-mortem waaaaaaaay back in the day!
And I'm not gonna sugar coat this: Fuuuuuuuuck this event.
I genuinely don't remember this being so bad two years ago. In fact I am surprised we managed back in the day. Our second ladder event in as many months, thread bare shop, and a story that I personally found so forgettable I didn't even bother trying to watch the damn thing this time around. Another ladder grind and a mediocre shop didn't help much either...
But, as usual, I'm more interested in you guys. Did you clear the ladder? The shop? Did you like the story or did you find it as unbearable as me? But most importantly are you as relieved as I am that we don't have another event like this for awhile?
Take a load off, Masters. Celebrate, lament, get it all off your chest. Because as we all know Chaldea rarely gets a moment's rest, but there are more pressing matters at hand. The Shadow Border is closing in on the first Lostbelt. The Crypters have Chaldean blood on their hands and in this instance blood for blood is fair game. And so we charge into the Lostbelt. Our target: Kadoc Zemplus. Member of Team A and Master of the servant who froze Chaldea over. And more than that remember this.
It's not NTR to summon Anastasia no matter what you say because we canonically summoned her first~!
(Sorry for the short post mortem, but seriously, fuck this event.)

Is this common for cats being spayed she was in good health all the jabs routine checkups all the time never a single problem before.
It's been a few weeks since our little incident discussed in my original post.
If you didn't see the original one or don't feel like reading through the massive wall of text, I'll summarize:A new MRI was being installed in one of our multi-practice facilities, during the installation everybody's iphones and apple watches stopped working. The issue only impacted iOS devices. We have plenty of other sensitive equipment out there including desktops, laptops, general healthcare equipment, and a datacenter. None of these devices were effected in any way (as of the writing of this post). There were also a lot of Android phones in the facility at the time, none of which were impacted. Models of iPhones and Apple watches afflicted were iPhone 6 and higher, and Apple Watch series 0 and higher. There was only one iPhone 5 in the building that we know of and it was not impacted in any way. The question at the time was: What occurred that would only cause Apple devices to stop working? There were well over 100 patients in and out of the building during this time, and luckily none of them have reported any issues with their devices.
In this post I'd like to outline a bit of what we learned since we now know the root cause of the problem.I'll start off by saying that it was not some sort of EMP emitted by the MRI. There was a lot of speculation focused around an EMP burst, but nothing of the sort occurred. Based on testing that I did, documentation in Apple's user guide, and a word from the vendor we know that the cause was indeed the Helium. There were a few bright minds in my OP that had mentioned it was most likely the helium and it's interaction with different microelectronics inside of the device. These were not unsubstantiated claims as they had plenty of data to back the claims. I don't know what specific component in the device caused a lock-up, but we know for sure it was the helium. I reached out to Apple and one of the employees in executive relations sent this to me, which is quoted directly from the iPhone and Apple Watch user guide:
>Explosive and other atmospheric conditions: *Charging or using iPhone in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere, such as areas where the air contains high levels of flammable chemicals, vapors, or particles (such as grain, dust, or metal powders), may be hazardous. Exposing iPhone to environments having high co
... keep reading on reddit ➡So concludes a tale that may or may not have happened. A story of humans, Servants, oni, and the woman that was simultaneously all three. The tower burns from the fire of Tomoe's arrow, Chaldea returns home, and perhaps the minds of both Shuten and Tomoe can rest a bit easier having had a heart-to-heart in a place we could not go. The food and alcohol is gone and it at last comes time for Master and Servant to leave the hot springs and reflect over the last week.
Well this was certainly an interesting change of pace. A combat-oriented event where the only limiting factor was your number of combat-ready servants. No shop, no AP management, just a full-on brawl up 200 floors. Consequentially my normal post-mortem format doesn't really work here, does it? At least not entirely because there are still a few questions worth asking.
Did you make it to the top? Clear the challenge quest? Who were your MVPs in this tower where everybody got their shot? Did you discover any new strategies and synergies? Perhaps some new appreciation for a servant that you didn't have before? What floors did you difficulty on and what did you do to overcome them?
And then there's the story. A story where we had an unusually candid moment with Shuten in which she dropped her act and asked questions that may or may not have been plaguing her for a good long time to a woman who may or may not have had the answers she sought. Could humans and oni have found some sort of Harmony between one another? Could Chaldea be an example or is it merely the exception that shows why it wouldn't work? Maybe the answer doesn't even matter in the Modern Age where oni are no more. Ah well...
Take a load off, Masters. Celebrate, lament, get it all off your chest. Because as we all know Chaldea rarely gets a moment's rest. No sooner do we return to the home front are we greeted with the smell of fresh chocolate. Valentine's appears to have crept up on us while we were busy in that tower. And Lord knows how occupied a master's schedule can be when they are giving or receiving chocolates!
Have fun and try not to get fat off of that chocolate. We're going to be Marathon running for the next few months.
(PS: Sorry for no DaVinci rerun post-mortem. I was out of town and by the time I was back I felt my window had passed!)
Even the hockey mods have abandoned us...

The curtain falls, the Hanging Garden factories are disassembled, and as we begin what surely would have been a years-long endeavor to get rid of all the excess chocolate had it not been for recent events (coughlostbeltscough) the time comes once again to look back and reflect on the last two weeks.
This event...oh boy, where to start with this event? Well what I can say is that given this was the first event since my return that I have come back at full force? That flavor farming was BRUTAL. On the flip side we had a pretty decent shop containing a lot of old materials that I'm sure many of us are constantly lacking and the ever notorious point ladder. Lord knows that always gives us a hell of a lot of goodies. I was in something of the unique position as I did not roll on this event at all. Consequentially I had the luxury of being able to form a 3 turn composition that worked for most things after the second batch of quests hit. And I'll be honest even with a 3 turn composition I'm still exhausted. But as is normal I am more interested in your experiences.
Of course the usual questions about how you did still stand. Did you finish the ladder? Clear the shop? Triumph over the challenge quest? Did you have to creative to do any of it? But the one question that I really want to ask is this...
This event was unique in that the story had the depth of a rain puddle it delved into a lot of humor and references that someone generally would not get if they weren't a long-standing Fate fan. I sure as we all know many people who play this game starting without having ever even heard of Fate. How many have you got the jokes? How many of you are left in the dark? Which of the jokes that you did get where your favorite?
Take a load off, Masters. Celebrate, lament, get it all off your chest. Because as we all know Chaldea rarely gets a moment's rest. And this time is not one of those times. In the distance stands an apartment complex. At its gate stands a woman wearing kimono and a red jacket. It looks like we're going to get an opportunity to work off that chocolate, and I know more than a few people for whom this is a reckoning. A chance to redeem themselves against an event that defeated them the first time when this game wasn't even a year old. The days before Avengers even graced the halls. And for those of us who did conquer the first time? I hope you all treat this as a cathartic beat down as much as I'm going to.
Time to discuss which dicks to suck for correctly spilling T and publicly shame the liars.

I wanted to let all the chips fall before analyzing if Andrew's belief in making the December debate was based on anything more than just blind confidence.
https://twitter.com/AndrewYang/status/1203759925501026306 > Let’s just say I’ve already booked my tickets to LA for the next debate.
https://twitter.com/TulsiGabbard/status/1204217776417603584 > For a number of reasons, I have decided not to attend the December 19th "debate" — regardless of whether or not there are qualifying polls. I instead choose to spend that precious time directly meeting with and hearing from the people of New Hampshire and South Carolina.
The first poll to release was the Monmouth one, the morning of Dec. 10th, 2019.
https://www.monmouth.edu/polling-institute/reports/monmouthpoll_us_121019/
The Polling Period was from December 4 to 8, 2019.
Andrew Yang got 3%. Tulsi Gabbard got <1%.
Andrew DID NOT qualify for this, since you need 4% or greater. So if he got intel from this one, it was bad intel.
The second poll to release (AND THE LAST ONE) was the Quinnipiac, the afternoon of Dec. 10th, 2019.
https://poll.qu.edu/national/release-detail?ReleaseID=3651
The Polling Period was from December 4 to 9, 2019.
Andrew Yang got 4%. Tulsi Gabbard got 2%.
If Andrew got his intel from the Quinnipiac, the only way would be if they finished collecting the data early than the 8th (when Andrew tweeted). I don't think so though, because the release explicitly states the survey period was from 4-9th.
From Tulsi's timing of her tweet, she may have gotten the poll results and made her decision to not make the debates, knowing she wouldn't have qualified.
Also look here when Andrew's lack of reaction when Zack notifies him that he qualified. https://youtu.be/72fXyHzaNZ4?t=7m39s Nothing.
My final conclusion? Andrew Yang is from the future and already knew the results. He has come back to the past to save humanity from the rise of the machines.
With the Browns season now over, its official that the Browns much maligned uniform set is now officially retired. The next time the browns make their way onto a field, they will look different. And while almost all of us will celebrate the end of the set, I think its a good time to take a look back at the set to see what combos the Browns saw the most success wearing, and the ones where they saw the least success
For a refresher, the team unveiled the uniforms with all 9 possible options on stage. With the color rush being kinda soft announced in 2015 (though not worn until 2018), that gives us a total of 10 uniform combinations, excluding changing sock colors.
Getting right into it, of the 10 combinations, only one was never worn all orange. The last time this combination was seen was on unveiling night in 2015. Thus, it finished with a record of 0-0. From here on out, the sets will be listed based on their win percentage
Orange over Brown 1-0. Worn only once, the Browns won their lone appearance in this combo, a combo that at the time received a lot of praise. It’s lone appearance was in week 14 of the 2015 season, a win over the 49ers. This is also the only combination that finished with a winning record.
TIE Color Rush 5-5. Despite being shown in promotional material in 2015, the Color rush did not make its first appearance until week 3 against the Jets. After starting off with a perfect 3-0 record in 2018, the color rush look did not see the same success in year 2, going 2-5, with its final appearance being a loss to the Ravens. Worn 10 times.
TIE White over orange 3-3 First debuting in a week 1 loss in 2016 to the Eagles, the White over orange set only saw its first win in week 12 of 2018 against the bengals. After going 0-2 in the look in 2016, the Browns went 3-1 wearing the set in the baker mayfield era. Worn 6 times.
TIE Brown over Orange 3-3. Taking the distinction as the first combination of the

I made a post here yesterday about one of Pollet's town halls. The town hall was two hours long, and I got a good 20 minutes of one-on-one time with him and a woman that I assume was his aide. He's a Dem and generally anti-gun, but a few interesting things came out of the discussion that I think we all should take note of, and it gave credence to some of my suspicions that we're not approaching these folks from the right angle.
First, he clearly was not expecting someone _like me_. I'm transgender, and my politics are (very) left wing. We can approach this cynically or not, but diversity can make a difference. He said it was the most civilized conversation he's ever had about guns--we mostly talked about the social justice ramifications of gun control.
Second, most of these folks have zero understanding of concealed carry or defensive gun use. They know nothing, and I spent a good chunk of time explaining the basics. To them, "high capacity magazine" means a dude with an AR-15. He was interested in the recent southern California court case that overturned their magazine ban.
There were two arguments that he had no good response to, and he basically admitted "yes, I get that's an issue." The first argument I made was that these laws cannot be enforced evenly, and will disproportionately impact certain groups of people. I explained to him that many "non-traditional gun owners" have come about in recent years, and I explained to him that many organizations, such as the Socialist Rife Association, Liberal Gun club, and many of the Puget Sound's local LGBT gun groups like Sylvia Rivera Gun Club, didn't exist 3-4 years ago. My local queer community is just now beginning to understand the importance of their second amendment rights, and gun laws passed now will impact these new gun owners the most, as compared to conservatives that have stockpiled rifles and PMAGs for years. He admitted this was the case, and he didn't have a good response. I also told him that minorities in the US have traditionally been unable to rely on the state to provide for their protection. I mentioned how John Brown Gun Club protected Seattle Trans pride, the role guns played in the civil rights struggle, and the [1886 Seattle race riots](https://en.wikipedia

Hey Guys, I just thought I'd drop an in depth post-mortem with my experience using Steam, the sales, wishlists, and (my lack of ) marketing how it's been at this point.
The game is a short RPG that would take about 2 to three hours to complete without knowing what you're doing initially. It's about a Brother looking for his kidnapped Brother. The setting is a fantasy world (that I hope to expand upon in the future), skeletons, ghosts, bats, spiders, and even robots. It's a very basic top down adventure RPG, reminiscent of the NES era.
This game was developed between May and November of 2019 using GMS2. It was initially just a small idea that grew a bit as it went along. Like most of us can probably relate to, adding features is fun, so more features got added. The saving grace for me that allowed me to stay focused was that the initial scope of what I hoped to do was small and planned. There were 3 stones, open a door, fight the boss. That was the gist of it. From that, there were 5 mini bosses added, extra equipment for the player to find and equip, a fishing minigame (of course), and then there was localization - which I'll talk about.
Getting your game ready for Steam with game maker is fairly simple - and I was able implement some achievements as well. I used this guide on getting the SDK and Game maker working together. I may do my own tutorial with more pictures though at a later date.
This is probably the most important thing that we don't even consider until it's too late. If you don't start hyping the game right away, you're going to be releasing your game into a void and no one will know it's there. I also suffered from this - the game developed so quickly that a lot of the things I was doing were done in the first month, where I didn't share progress very much. I used Twitter mostly for my progress updates.
My most successful posts would be animated GIFS, here's a few for example.

Its pretty clear at this point that something must have went incredibly wrong during Sword and Shield's development with how issues seem with the game seem to be continuing pop up left and right I would love it someone get some source who worked on this game and tell them everything that happened during development so we can have a clear picture of what exactly went wrong.
Two months ago I launched my first Steam release into Early Access, Starcom: Nexus. My personal inspiration for the game was an ancient DOS game called "Starflight" that I loved as a kid. I wanted to create an open-world universe full of mystery that combined the joy of exploration with the joy of blasting alien ships until they explode like piñatas.
Here is an inchoate collection of my rambling notes on the journey so far.
An open-world RPG is a very ambitious project for a solo developer. While it's my first Steam game, it's not my first game. I've released two moderately popular Flash games (and another Flash game that never really found much of an audience). My second Flash game was a space combat game called Starcom released waaay back in 2009. Players' enthusiasm for that game is what convinced me to begin work on Starcom: Nexus. Still, this was going to be bigger in scope, technical risk and literal scale than anything I'd done before by, well, a lot.
One of my earliest and biggest regrets is that when I released the original Starcom Flash game, I never included a way for players to connect with me. It's been played over two million times by hundreds of thousands of players, most of whom are probably unaware that Starcom: Nexus exists.
Years later, in 2014 I added info to the game that led players to a survey and mailing list form, but due to the viral nature of Flash games there was no way to update most copies of the game that are out there. Even though I'd missed the bulk of players by that point, there was enough of a positive response to convince me of a potential market for the game.
Shortly thereafter I started on what would be the first iteration of Starcom: Nexus (then called Starcom 2) in Unity. I spent the next few months cobbling together a prototype in my spare time that had the basic mechanics, but failed to "find the fun." Frustrated, I put the project aside.
Fast forward to 2016, I decided to give the project another go, starting from scratch again but sticking with Unity. Again, I worked on it between contract projects.
By March 2018 I decided I needed to make a decision. I had spent an estimated 2000+ hours (including untracked overhead) and several thousand dollars on the project. Up until this point I'd alternated between treating it as a sort of hobby project and a real job. This pattern had allowed me to make progress while also earning money doing "real" work,

Google just released their RCA/post-mortem of the events that impacted several US and Americas GCP regions as well as other Google services on Sunday, June 2nd 2019. I found it to be a highly interesting read. Quoting below to save folks a click:

>On Sunday 2 June, 2019, Google Cloud projects running services in multiple US regions experienced elevated packet loss as a result of network congestion for a duration of between 3 hours 19 minutes, and 4 hours 25 minutes. The duration and degree of packet loss varied considerably from region to region and is explained in detail below. Other Google Cloud services which depend on Google's US network were also impacted, as were several non-Cloud Google services which could not fully redirect users to unaffected regions. Customers may have experienced increased latency, intermittent errors, and connectivity loss to instances in us-central1, us-east1, us-east4, us-west2, northamerica-northeast1, and southamerica-east1. Google Cloud instances in us-west1, and all European regions and Asian regions, did not experience regional network congestion.
>
>Google Cloud Platform services were affected until mitigation completed for each region, including: Google Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Endpoints, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, Cloud Console, Stackdriver Metrics, Cloud Pub/Sub, Bigquery, regional Cloud Spanner instances, and Cloud Storage regional buckets. G Suite services in these regions were also affected.
