The authors reviewed four trials that were conducted until 1997, and which found inconclusive evidence for immunoglobuline therapy being effective in ME/CFS patients. Therefore (and since then) immunoglobulines are not recommended for ME/CFS.
This new review shows, that the results of the four trails were not interpreted correctly and that CFS- Patients with abnormal cell-mediated immunity might benefit significantly from immunoglobulines (most of them within three weeks after the first dose).

I would be glad to get some of your opinions on that!
What could be the reason for mature (IgM+) B cells in the blood but no immunoglobulins in the serum? Does that just mean the B cells are mature, proliferated in the lymph nodes, but naive (haven't been exposed to an antigen)?
And are there some common experiments to test the hypothesis?
It is known that Tetanus Human Immunoglobulin can have an effect on some live attenuated virus vaccines. Could the same mechanism have an effect on the immune response after an mRNA vaccine.
Something I was considering recently was delirium in elderly patients from UTI, or a urinary tract infection. Their awareness is significantly lowered (depending on how far the infection has traveled (bladder or kidneys) and perception is fuck-all.
Yes, Iβm sure fast feeling is is a completely different mechanism of response than a UTI, but I canβt help but think it is somehow related to our bodyβs response to infection.
What do you guys think?
24m , white, 6'0, 150, no drugs or medicine taken, prediabetic, complaint - concerned about tetanus
I have a sweater that had the zipper come off, I can still zip it but when the zipper broke it created a sharp, but teeny tiny stub of metal. Today I whammed my finger in the stub (accidentally). It felt sharp, but I cant see any puncture or redness/irritation, however I doubt I would since the metal stub is extremely tiny (narrow and not tall). I had the childhood vaccines and one booster since, but have not had a booster in 13 years. I know I should get a booster, but do you think this incidence would put me at risk? I am prediabetic so that usually gives me more anxiety about health stuff.
Hey folks!
So, in cases of Hyper-IgE or Hyper-IgM, there is an increased in the production of specific IGs, will this result in any change in the spleen ? Especially the follicles as it contain B cells ?
Thanks
Test results came back at 1843, they want me to use brio inhaler for a month and then retest. I'm new to this. What could this mean? The only thing I could think of is my asthma has kicked up recently with crackling sounds on exhalation while sleeping. Maybe this could be the cause of my poor sleep? Any input is very much appreciated. Thank you!
There is apparently a possible autoimmune component of gastroparesis (of course there is!). Has anyone had immunoglobulin treatment? Does anyone had diagnoses of autoimmune gastrointestinal dysmotility (AGID)? what about autoimmune gastrointestinal neuropathies (GAIN) or other dysautonomia?
Which clinics are the best for getting a diagnosis for these? Anyone have experience getting insurance to cover this type of therapy?
TIA!
