[TOMT][MOVIE][1970s-1980s] A film involving a murder (of a woman?) and during the trial the prosecution plays some deranged music made by the accused to show he was crazy

I only vaguely remember this one scene from about 15-20 years ago when I saw it, so unfortunately the details in the title may not be correct. In fact, it may not have even been a movie, it could have been an episode of a TV show - but I am reasonably sure it was a movie.

I think the film was an American one - it was certainly in the English language. Based on the aesthetic that I vaguely remember - a colour film with that slightly "beige" and "grainy" look and feel from that era - I think the film was made during the 70s or maybe the 80s, but I suspect most likely the 70s. I doubt it was made in the 60s or 90s and am almost certain it was not made sooner or later.

I think the film was primarily about a murderer, possibly a serial killer. The scene I specifically remember was the accused was on trial for the murder of a woman (I think it was a woman). The accused was fairly young, maybe 20s or 30s, and looked completely ordinary (possibly with medium-long brown hair, but I really am not sure). During the trial the accused seemed like a nice normal person, but then the prosecution played to the courtroom some "music" that the accused had made: it was crazy music, I think electronic in nature (so not rock music with guitars) and was a cacophony of noise and random electronic signals and stuff. The point was, it was seriously crazy and consequently it made the accused look crazy - destroying his facade of being a normal person. I think the accused started to panic and demanded they stop playing it, possibly insisting it was "very personal" and they shouldn't listen to his music.

Some other details that I vaguely remember (but I am not certain at all if they are accurate), the accused may have lived in some kind of grotty (or at least untidy) flat and may have been interested in photography. I have a faint memory of him taking a photo from the window of his flat, possibly of some woman outside (maybe his victim?). Also, the music he made - electronic in nature - may have been because he had some kind of education in electronics, so he knew how to construct signal generators and things like that.

Oh, and I don't know if the entire film was about this one murder and trial, or if that scene I described above was only one part of it.

As for what I searched for, it was completely fruitless. Searching for "murder trial movie crazy music" only brings soundtracks for courtroom drama films. Searching for "photography murderer film" brings up Peeping Tom (pre

[TOMT][MOVIE][1980s] Sci fi Film about Family Starting New Life

I'm trying to recall an 80s live action movie that I saw playing on YouTube that was interesting but I didn't favorite it. It featured a family in what seemed like futuristic world that had pyramid like buildings. The family was being a assigned a new life of some type and were given an apartment where they would live. There even an orientation like scene I believe. The family seemed grateful for it. Some of the design of the buildings reminded me of early Disney Epcot City concept drawings. I didn't watch more than that.

[TOMT] German film with a marching band (possibly 1970s-1980s)

SOLVED

This is a long shot, but I am going to try. I was born in 1990 and before I immigrated to US, I used to watch this film (circa 93/94) that was played on state television a couple times.

All I can remember is that the film was German, and I could be wrong on that, but it sticks out in my memory. I just remember the/an ending scene which takes place in the dead of night, and involves a phantom like marching band, where you see instruments (e.g. drums, trumpets, etc.) marching and playing in unison (the people playing the drums were dressed in all black to give the illusion of the instruments playing by themselves since this was before CGI shit).

And then I think there are these three kids or something that are trying to stop them, like they're from the Goonies or something (like some Scooby Doo shit), before all the instruments fall to the ground, as the kids saved the day.

I feel like the films is 1970s-1980s, maybe even possibly 1960s. It was definitely in color.

I know it's all very vague, but it's what I can remember.

[TOMT][SONG][1980s-1990s] Song from an animated film making a pun about butts?

There was a song that I remember being in an animated movie. The song was sung by a male singer, and it was very tongue-in-cheek and peppy. The lyrics I recall are "Use your head, or your/you're behind." There was a clear implication of it being a pun about butts. As in, if you don't use your head, you're an ass. I think there was also a lot of visuals of whatever animated animal it was waving its butt in the air, but I have reason to be skeptical of whatever visuals I think I remember.

The problem is that I remember the animal being a dragon, but I also for years was picturing the dragon from Quest for Camelot. I've gone through the soundtrack for that movie several times, and none of the music in that even comes close, even if a few of the visuals for "If I Didn't Have You" are similar. So clearly something got garbled in child-me's head.

The only things I'm sure about are the lyrics, what the singer's voice sounded like, and snippets of tune that I can't string together enough for any of the music identifying apps to help me with.

I've been looking for this fruitlessly for many years now, so any ideas at all are appreciated.

[TOMT][MOVIE][1980s-2000s] Computer Animated Children's VHS Short about Compilations of old 3D Animated Short Films and Imagination.

The vhs tape starts with this intro of the imagination sound and the butterfly slowly generating the logo. Then the story starts off with this 3D Animated Young Boy with glasses getting on the computer and he's like, "Come on guys! Lets go into the world of Imagination!" So then the camera slowly goes into the computer and shows a 3D Animation of a Train. I can't remember anything else about the whole film but I can tell you that the film was a collection of different 3d animations shorts that tied into the story making it believable when I was a kid. I also remember towards the end of the vhs tape they played Stanley and Stella in: Breaking the Ice which is one of the first CGI animated 3D Shorts from 1987. After that, the boy with the glasses said, "Alright guys! That's it for today. The Imagination is over. Goodbye everyone!" And that was it. I remember always getting mad everytime it ended no matter how many times I watched it lol. The VHS I am talking about is not Mind's Eye, Imaginaria, or Imaginit. I checked, and it's not either of those. I can tell it's related to them tho, with the whole imagination intro at the start. But yeah other than that that is all I know and found about what VHS Tape I am talking about. I don't have it anymore and I hope it's not rare because I plead that wasn't the last copy lol. But yeah guys if you guys can relate to this or can find it I would greatly appreciate it.

[TOMT] cartoon film / movie approx 1980s

hi peeps

I'm going back about 30 years roughly but the film could be older than that. I've had a very hazy memory off and on for years and i've never been able to find the film I think I remember. What I remember is a cartoon film where Looney Tunes (?) characters such as Foghorn Leghorn and Sylvester (maybe) and others put a coin in the wishing well and tell a story which makes up the film. I've tried to look myself but never come up with an answer. I dont see why or how i could have made this up but have never been able to find the film I'm thinking of. Does anyone know the name of the film?

[TOMT] [video] Live-action family adventure film, possibly Walt Disney 1960s-1980s, involving a desert island, a boy, a girl, and an amnesiac father

Elements I can recall:

This film was on VHS in the 1990s. I found it in a large collection of live, action-adventure Disney-made movies but it is not necessarily itself a Disney film--it just fit in thematically with the others.

It involved a brother and a sister (the sister with long, thin, brown, 70s-style hair) on an island. The two lead actors were prepubescent. There was a man in his 30s with amnesia who is later revealed to be their long-lost father. Their mother is dead and her picture is in a locket; it is this locket that awakens the man's memory. The locket is lost at the bottom of a pool of water below a waterfall. There is also a very large quartz crystal hidden in a cave behind the waterfall which the film's narrative claims is a gigantic diamond (that part sounds like The Rescuers, right?). The film may have involved pirates. I only ever saw this movie as a child and no one I know has seen it since. Based on what I remember of the movie I feel it was likely made in the 1970s. The collection of films this was in also included many dubbed cartoons and live-action family adventure films imported from Europe, so it may be a European film that was dubbed (I would have been too young to recognize whether a film was dubbed or not).

[TOMT][FILM}[1980s] Animated film about humanity and the wheel of time

I came across a film that was posted on YouTube (just as video, not as one of the films you can buy/rent)

I believe it was between 1982-1985 that it was published. The year was put in the title of the video and I'm sorry I'm not entirely sure.

The beginning of the film starts with two children in a bedroom. I don't remember much, but I believe they were near a window / opened a box. We then get this myth about human beings and how they became cruel to each other time. The dialogue is between a 'man' who walks on the wheel of time and a 'woman' (don't remember what she could have represented besides mother earth)

It seemed African or Aztec inspired - the style of the film and lore were tribal. I believe it was only ever made in English. The quality is about what you would expect from an animated film released at this time that wasn't made by any big studio.

I wish I could be more help and if I recall anything else that would be a clue I will be sure to add it!

[TOMT][MOVIE][1970's-1980's] A scene in American film where the Korean actor playing the villain talks in Korean, sounding like a villain speech to his army but is really complaining

I saw this scene sometime in the last two years on Youtube, but the movie itself is from the 1970's or 1980's.

The details I remember was that this actor was pretty famous in Korea at the time. He was casted as a villain in an American movie. During the scene where he's giving a speech to his army and the hero is captured, he was directed to say anything he wants as long as it's in Korean and sounded intimidating.

He then proceeds to complain in Korean about the movie, the directors, and I believe Hollywood in general and how stupid it was to just be told to say anything he wanted in the scene. I believe he was mostly addressing any Korean viewers who happened to be watching. It was present in the movie, so no one caught it until decades later.

After the speech, he says something to the effect of "bring in the prisoner" in English.

Does anyone know what movie this is from? A link to it would also be appreciated since I know that clip is on Youtube. I would love to know.

[TOMT] [MOVIE] [1970s-1980s] A film (most likely scandinavian) where a boy goes through a relationship with a geography(?) teacher, showing its start and end

Believe it or not, I remember seeing a summary thing of this at Facebook. It's definitely not a family-friendly movie as it had love scenes though it is softcore. The boy who is probably around his teen years, has blonde hair and a curtained hairstyle, begins an affair with his teacher. They make contact with each other each class, but also including drama in his life when a girl who is probably a family friend or a childhood friend confesses to him.

There are parts of the movie where the boy tries to end the affair by trying to expose her acts in front of the class, which I think ended with him having a better life as he got out of the affair.

Thanks in advance^^
