A list of puns related to "Peter Davidson"
So, Iβm almost finished with season 19 (just watched βEarthshockβ) and I was wondering if anyone could tell me positives about this era because Iβve been having some difficulties.
Iβve been finding the episodes really dragging and boring.
I also donβt like any of the companions. Adric is extremely annoying. Tegan could only scream and complain about wanting to go back to Heathrow for a long time. Nyssa is the best one, but sheβs so bland.
The 5th Doctor isnβt interesting, either. I donβt think Peter Davidson played the Doctor well so far. Heβs too flaky, not commanding at all. Also, I donβt really enjoy that he looks so posh, although I find interesting that, regardless of it, he seems to be the less concerned with using violence and guns. He seems nice, but I get the feeling he cares the less. I donβt know, I might be wrong, Iβm still in the beginning of his era.
So, if anyone could list some positives to focus on, Iβd be much appreciated.
PS: I hated the Cybermen in βEarthshockβ. Easily the worst version so far (and counting New Who).
Bring me all the d-line!!!! Letβs gooooooo
Arthur thought about it for a minute and then said, "I want to hang out with God." St. Peter took Arthur to the Throne Room, and introduced him to God. God recognized Arthur and commented, "Okay, so you were the one who invented the Harley-Davidson motorcycle?" Arthur said, "Yeah, that's me..."
God continued "Well, what's the big deal in inventing something that's pretty unstable, makes noise and pollution and can't run without a road?"
Arthur was a bit embarrassed, but finally spoke, "Excuse me, but aren't you the inventor of Woman?" God said, "Yes, that would be me." "Well," said Arthur , "Professional to professional, you have some major design flaws in your invention!...
"Hmmmmm, you may have some good points there", replied God, "Hold on." God went to his Celestial supercomputer, typed in a few words and waited for the results. The computer printed out a slip of paper and God read it. "Well, it may be true that my invention is flawed", God said to Arthur, "But according to these numbers, more men are riding my invention than yours."
who could it be about??
My boyfriend is an absolute nerd and new to knitting and would like some help on his next project. Here's what he says:
"Hi, Iβm wondering if anyone can help me out. Iβm trying to replicate the 5th Doctorβs S19/20 cricket jumper (from Doctor Who in the 80s) with as much accuracy as possible. I had a look in the doctor who pattern book and discovered that the pattern there was horribly wrong. Iβve found this pattern:
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fifth-doctor-who-sweater
but those (what do you call them?) Notches? Donβt seem to correspond with the ones on the sweater. Would anyone be able to tell me if the pattern would create an accurate replication and if not, how Iβd go about doing that.
If it is accurate, the chap says to knit it to his specs and block to desired sizes. Iβm quite new to knitting (Iβve only thusfar managed hats and scarves) and I donβt really know about resizing patterns. With blocking, wouldnβt that lose accuracy (sorry Iβm really anal about accuracy) and goof up the gage? Iβm not sure what Iβm talking about.
Here are some more pics of the jumper: https://imgur.com/a/MELpkbO
Side note: I notice the pattern I shared has the red and black listed as knitted in, but they seem like fabric stuck on. How is that attached? How does it work? Whatβs going on there? My mind is melting
Tldr: Iβm trying to make this jumper. Pls help. Thanks guysβ
