My absolute favourite thing in the world happened the other day, had me in tears (laughing).
I have been calling in sick over the last few weeks. I've been calling a lot to keep the management updated, And to avoid talking to management I have been ringing the sick number in the extreme early hours of the morning. I'm talking, like, 2 am. That way I can leave a message for management to get in the morning. Works a charm.
There is a constant security presence in the house for obvious reasons, the place is filled with royal collection. Priceless artifacts. So, I was talking to security the other day and I was having the usual bants. I asked two of the guys if they have ever experienced anything paranormal, especially at night...thats when they both went a bit pale. They said "mate, over the last few weeks every phone in the house starts ringing at like 2/3am...all the phones in the office go off at once. Apparently those rooms used to be the servents quarters in vickys day."
Clearly there's a weird system going on out of office hours. When I'm ringing the managers phone and everyones phone in the offices upstairs ring too. I just started laughing at the guys. How the fuck that happens I don't know. But it must be me right? Either that or there is ghosts in the phone lines.
Imagine how scary that would be though, walking around with ya torches in the victorian corridors and then suddenly, reverberating around the whole house, comes a chorus of ringing. Then it stops.
