A list of puns related to "Organization of the Kwantung Army"
I was reading Phyllis Birnbaum's biography of Yoshiko Kawashima, "Manchu Princess, Japanese Spy", and I got to the chapter on the Battle of Rehe. There, Birnbaum states Kawashima's command over her honghuzi irregular cavalry division was more for the benefit of Japanese newspapers than an actual fact -- and that Kawashima most likely never saw action herself, but was content to act as a propaganda piece.
When I read that, I remembered how her cousin, Puyi, Kangde Emperor and nominal head of Manchukuo, was similarly a prominent puppet of the Japanese; and how the same went for Zhang Jinghui, the "Tofu Prime Minister" of Manchukuo; and that Unit 731 was stationed in Harbin, and that Manchurians were made to grow opium during the interwar years for the Japanese (including the opium that went into Golden Bat cigarettes and the Oroqen forced opium consumption).
With all that in mind, how much of Manchukuo was actually run by the puppet government, as opposed to directly by the IJA?
I originally only wanted to submit a proposal that they carry out the FMT clinical trial. But there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. The only option seems to be to request funding for your organization to carry out the research.
They've got guys like this they can recruit to be stool donors:
Paul Chelimo https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Chelimo - https://www.fastrunning.com/features/paul-chelimo-soldier-first-athlete-later/9586
Hillary Bor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillary_Bor
Leonard Korir https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Korir
Amro ElGeziry https://www.teamusa.org/usa-modern-pentathlon/athletes/Amro-ElGeziry
All top Olympic athletes. I was unsuccessful trying to recruit them, but I would imagine and hope that their reaction would be different if their Army commander and a research group contacted them.

The Salvation Army helps nearly 2 million Canadian a year. However, this is their position statement on abortion:
> The Salvation Army believes in the sanctity of human life because hum>an beings are made in the image of God. Each person is of eternal value and each life a gift from God worth cherishing, nurturing, and preserving.
> The Salvation Army therefore takes seriously the needs, rights and responsibilities of parents and unborn children when considering the matter of abortion. We are committed to the protection and care of the unborn, and to the promotion of societal systems that promote wholeness, freedom, quality of life and the development of the potential of all persons.
> The Salvation Army supports responsible measures necessary to avoid unwanted pregnancy and is opposed to abortion as a means of birth control. We are concerned about a growing social acceptance of abortions and believe that a genetic abnormality in the unborn child is not generally sufficient to warrant a termination of pregnancy.
> When an unwanted pregnancy occurs, The Salvation Army counsels that the parents receive caring support for their emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs, and that the unborn child be carried to term.
> The Salvation Army recognizes tragic and perplexing circumstances that require difficult decisions regarding a pregnancy. Such decisions should be made only after prayerful and thoughtful consideration, with appropriate involvement of the womanβs family and pastoral, medical and other counsel.
> Women who have had an abortion deserve care and respect, and The Salvation Army will offer them its services in a loving and compassionate manner without discrimination.hat promote wholeness, freedom, quality of life and the development of the potential of all persons.

So in light of the government's recent position on funding for the student jobs program is the government going to stop giving millions and revoke the charitable status of the Salvation Army? Or are they hypocrites?
As someone who has limited knowledge of our Army's organizational structure - is there some source on its organization, something one can refer to for questions like "what division/corps does the Rajput regiment belong to" or "where are they deployed" or "how many troops does this regiment have"?
Obviously it doesn't have to be super-accurate, some ballpark/reasonably recent source would work just fine.
So I have considered using magic orb things as a method of communication in my fantasy setting taking place in a roughly early modern period (17th century)
The way it works is that the orbs are able to transmit sound received by other orbs of the same design. The effective range of the orbs are 500 meters from each other. It takes in all sounds, and canβt really be turned off, like a radio thatβs constantly on.
I was thinking of how this affected the armyβs organization. The Ardium New Army is a relatively new model that is based on a professional army, having been created ten years ago to replace the obselete feudal armies. Aside from unit organization being based on rank and merit (somewhat), they are also adopting new, and often times, more experimental magic equipment. The afformentioned orb is one of these new equipment that is, at most, about five years old since its debut.
Considering the short time of its introduction and being given to a still largely untested army model, I was considering that two comm orbs are given to company commanders. The company commander keeps one for himself, and gives the other to the second in command. When they conduct missions, this allows them to keep in contact to update the situation, allowing a greater degree for tactical flexibility for a pre-modern army.
As for the magical side, the orb is like a battery. It has like a shelf life, and expires in around 3 years. This is because the magic in the orb is being depleted and no one has invented a way for it to be βturned offβ yet. The orbs are the size of golfballs, and attached to the vambraces of an officer.
Thatβs my idea of communication orbs. What Iβm asking if I missed any other implications these can have, or other potential uses. (Iβm not sure how good it is for espionage due to the 500 meter limit). What do you guys think? Am I missing something?
I know that the Cuban Revolution and Che inspired a lot of Latin America guerrilla movements. Did it change the way of thinking of the left in Europe in relation to how to go about implementing Marxism?
