A list of puns related to "Organic farming and biodiversity"
Recently, an anti-GM, conspiracy-theorist Facebook friend posted a link to a meta-analysis on organic farming and biodiversity. The paper, which is below, Tuck et al. (2014), looks at biodiversity on organic farms. It finds that organic farms have positive effects on biodiversity. I am trying to square this up with Nicola et al. (2013) who find, among other things, that GM foods positively affect biodiversity. The simplest explanation (that I'm not sure is correct) is that both GM crops and organic have positive effects on biodiversity.
This could be for different reasons, of course. If your pesticides and herbicides are effective, you would decrease the biodiversity in an area, simply through reducing pest species/weeds. The claim in Nicola et al. is that GM cultivars have a lesser impact on non-target species. This might well be compatible with Tuck and colleagues.
Has anyone had a chance to take a look at it? What are your thoughts?

I was trying to find some info on this online, but didn't find much. But I only searched in English, which obviously has it limits. So assuming vegans on reddit lives in different countries I thought I could ask you.
