Our two kids (7 & 9) have an older brother in a different home who is starting to open up about having crushes on other boys. Our two (not to their brother) have made comments about gay relationships being weird or wrong. I’m looking on recommendations on books or tv shows that we can read or watch with the kids to get them more used to the idea. I really want to avoid them showing judgement to their brother, he’s already got a lot of insecurities and he doesn’t need that.
Extra info: we are LGBTQ+ allies, but both of our kids came from foster placements that, if not outright anti-LGBTQ+, didn’t foster any any open minded views. The home the brother is in, is very accepting also.
I have wanted to discuss house rules and other homebrew here, but on other PF2 forums the RAW purists tear me apart for small things while big changes they suggest are fine.
Last topic was my game having everyone have AoO, and AoO and Ready disrupting manipulate actions on a normal hit so spellcasters have a harder time casting (its in my gameworld lore and stories). I was told I was crazy, destroying balance... 80 downvotes in an hour (idk but it shows my point) and they then began to describe the dream game of having Free Archetype and Ancestral Paragon together lol
Are people here on this smaller forum more open-minded about rules? I hope so!
