A list of puns related to "Onyx (hip hop group)"
Hey Reddit, so as the title indicates, I'm looking for some music to recommend to my friend. He's listed Hip Hop and R&B as his favorite genres of music, and his favorite artists are Lil Baby, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye. Unfortunately that's not really my cup of tea, so I'm hoping you guys can steer me in the right direction on groups and/or songs to introduce to him.
One other thing to know is that I would much prefer groups over individuals because of a tradition we have bands. Other than that, have at it. Thanks so much for your help, you guys!
Forming a creative group, with most of the members based in california. There are five members/artists already, 3 of them being producers , myself included. Looking for rappers/vocalists who are consistent with their work and would be open to join. so if your interested lmk!

I'm trying to find a song from an underground/alternative West Coast hip hip group. It is probably from around 2005. The group had members of multiple different races. The chorus was something like "This is how I live, I'm tryin to make you understand, my life." One verse says something about "most of the rap I listened to came from the east." I think that guy was white with red hair. Another guy looked latino or mixed, fairly large with glasses. I am certain/Fairly certain that it was not the following groups: Pharcyde, Dilated peoples, Souls of Mischief, Freestyle Fellowship, Heiroglyphics, People under the stairs, Jurrasic 5, Living Legends, cypress hill. It Aired on mtv2 or mtvu around 2006-7.
I used to listen to a song religiously a couple of years back, and itβs been stuck in my head since.
From memory it could be by either Horrorshow, Spit Syndicate, or some others from the One Day Crew, however it could be someone else.
They used part of an old Irish Blessing that goes: May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
For me personally it comes down to these 4: OutKast, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest and the Wu-Tang Clan. I canβt decide the order between these four, Iβll generally pick OutKast as my no. 1 but it is sooo close and it hurts me to even think about which one is the weakest.
Was adding artists to the reddit playlist posted the other day. Added a ton of shit from A-Z, but couldnt think of anyone I liked with the letter Y. I'll give any artist or group a chance, but for whatever reason I've just never been fond of any Young/Yung whoever.
Any recommendations?
Hi
Outside of kpop, I mostly listen to hip hop or R&B so I was wondering if there were any kpop groups whose discography was mostly hip hop based. The only ones I really know are BTS (their cyphers and rap line songs) and some of NCT's songs are hip hop based.
I already listen to khh artists but I was wanting to find some groups.
If you have a specific song/album in mind, please recommend it!
