A list of puns related to "One Wish (film)"
Or what one thing would you change about the films to make them more like the books?
Thor and Loki's dynamic is without a doubt one of my favorite stories in the MCU. Hemsworth and Hiddleston truly embody these two brothers going through these various hurdles before recognizing that through thick and thin, they are family.
And I love how each film has a different stage for this dynamic. The first Thor movie has Thor looking down upon Loki before gaining humility and seeing the err of his ways while Loki's jealousy of Thor overcomes him. The first Avengers has it so that Thor believes there is good in Loki while Loki is blinded by rage.
Ragnarok has it so that Thor has reached a point where he's grown indifferent to Loki's BS, which leads to Loki to realize how much he truly wants to stay with his brother and decide to be more than the God of Mischief, ending with the Odinson brothers together again. Infinity War has it all come full circle with Loki sacrificing himself to save his brother.
Dark World presents a stage I wish we saw more of: the two at their absolutest lowest, with both angry at one another and believing the other truly hates them.
On Thor's end, he himself tells Loki that any hope he had in him to be a good person is gone now and that he'll have no issue killing Loki if he betrays them. We know he doesn't 100% mean it but it's clear that he feels genuinely betrayed by Loki, that he's lost any trust in him after what he's done.
On Loki's end, he appears as though he's accepted that he's the villain of Asgard and has zero issue acting antagonistic towards his family (even, regretfully, his own mother), playing up the asshole trickster angle.
But of course, we know the two still love one another and, despite their behavior, they still want to be brothers. We know Thor wants to trust Loki, we know Loki cares for Thor. But both are too blinded by their anger towards one another that they believe the other doesn't care about them.
Dark World is not a great film, but the scenes between the two are the best parts of the film, both in terms of the comedy as well as the drama. That argument scene between the two in Svartalfheim was great.
whether to make your job easier or as a way to better their craft
An idea from the filmmaking history, or fan created.
For example, I would've loved to seen Tom McLoughlin's JASON NEVER DIES, where Crystal Lake is now during the winter season, and its an all female cast. THAT would've been different and special, as wlel as good because of his F13 film: JASON LIVES.
What say you?
Iβll start:
I wish they added the chapter where Paul and Jessica are in the Arrakeen conservatory. It was a scene that I was really looking forward too aswell for some reason because itβs the last greenery that Paul and Jessica see before they get attacked
We got hints from Toy Story films that he might have been a hand me down from Andy's dad. How cool would have been for a Toy story movie based on that? Any one else wish we got this?
The Genue saud, βWeurd wush but U wull grant ut.β
For me it's the Gaunt family in Half-Blood Prince. I understand why it got axed, but Dumbledore and Harry traveling back in time through the pensieve to reconstruct Voldemort's life is one of the high points of the entire series.
I wish they had made room for this.
This would be fun to discuss!
