Hello,
I've been planning a trip with my wife for early summer 2022 (looking at early June) and we have agreed on a trip to Slovenia / Istria / Venice. Neither of us have been to Slovenia or Istria, but I've been to Venice. My wife has not been to Venice so she really wants to get a couple of nights there.
The flights we are looking at would have us arrive in Ljubljana and depart from Venice and we would have 11 full days.
There are a lot of places that appeal to us so I'm having a difficult time figuring out if we can fit everything or if we should cut some places to make the trip more enjoyable. As a little background on our interests, we love eating / drinking & exploring old towns. We aren't super outdoorsy, but we definitely are interested in seeing highlights (Vintgar Gorge, Julian Alps, etc.). We aren't sure on how we want to approach things from a transit standpoint, but I always prefer taking public transit. However, if a car makes the itinerary more doable then we are definitely open to that.
Below is a rough itinerary and places we would like to see:
Arrive Ljubljana:
Nights 1 - 2 Ljubljana: If time permits: day trip to Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle
Nights 3 - 4 Lake Bled: If time permits: day trip to Vintgar Gorge & Julian Alps
Night 5 Piran: Not sure if we should stop anywhere on the way?
Night 6 Motovun: Should we stop in other Istria towns on the way?
Nights 7 - 8 Rovinj: Is it worth 2 full days here or should we do a day trip to Porec or other Istrian towns?
Night 9 Trieste: More using this to make the transit to Venice easier, but do think it could be a good stop for an afternoon?
Nights 10 - 11 Venice
Depart Venice
Please let me know if you have any thoughts (additions, subtractions, if we need more days, etc.). I appreciate the help!
I have played through the Witcher 3 about 6 times since I have bought it and I still can't get over the level of attention to detail and scale of novigrad. Physically novigrad isn't that big of a city if you look at real medieval cities. However, the way that cd is able to make the city feel alive and constantly moving makes up for that. Still have that feeling of awe when I first ride into novigrad during a playthrough.
I am going up against the Novigrad champion Durden the Tailor. And I just wanna know HOW THE HELL you beat that elven motherfucker. He just goes sicko mode dishing out haymakers left and right. A single punch takes 1/3 of my health. Yes, 1/3. I die in 3 punches. Which isnβt a problem, but this guy is like the fucking flash, heβs 4 parallel universe ahead of me at all times and I cannot touch him.
Any suggestions or tips? Is there something I have to do before the fight? Or am I just bad?
Iβm playing on the hardest difficulty and I am level 100. He shouldnβt even be a problem, Iβm sure as hell the other champions werenβt.
We gotta save Doodoo from Whore son! I lol everytime these names get said.
Basically the title. Will it hurt level progress if I go to novigrad early just to get to merchants etc.?
