Iona twirls, suddenly appearing in full ‘Shoulderpads’ Couture. She’s looking like a weatherwoman, in a trenchcoat that has hailstorms, tornados, rain and snow on it, with bright blue massive shoulder pads. Iona has a microphone in her hand, and struts through the club like a woman on a mission- to REPORT THE NEWS!

Iona winks, ripping off her shoulder pads to reveal glitter beneath as she cackles.
“Now, my sources tell me, you, Ms Grace Bones, will be our Winner. Watching this, I hope you know, from RuPaul’s Era, to Sophie’s, to YOURS- I am dedicated, and I have made my mission… to drag race it up. Thank you.” Iona winks.

I recently watched the 2k16 playthrough again and I need someone to tell me that I'm reading way too much into this.
Vic Van Lier made his rapper persona name "Bo$$ Key Yacht$" which everybody made fun off for sounding ridiculous. But I thought it was way too specific for it to just be nothing, especially with how much they keep saying it in dialogue.
Could it be Boss Key Yachts = bosskeyachts = basquiat? As in the hugely influential artist in New York, the undoubtedly influenced Spike Lee's works? Am I thinking too hard about this? Please tell me I'm wrong, genuinely.
