A list of puns related to "No Sanctuary (The Walking Dead)"
How much of a spoiler is the board game?
Do I need to watch up to 2016 before playing to avoid ruining it or is it not very story based, just generic?
This is a post that I've wanted to make for a long time, but for some reason could never bring myself to write it.ย As of writing this I have just finished watching season 9, which I was behind on for a while.
The Walking Dead started in 2010, which means that I have been watching it for over a third of my life.ย I remember when it was considered one of the best shows on television, I remember when everyone got super bored of the farm, and I remember when season 3 started strong and ended up kind of falling apart.ย I also remember when Scott Gimple turned to the show from something I was considering dropping to something genuinely good and exciting.ย Season 5 is still my favorite, which I know is a common opinion here.
When season 6 started I was excited.ย And boy did it start strong, with some of the most exciting episodes of the show.ย But before long strange cracks began to show.ย For every intense, exciting scene there was a bizarre writing decision or manipulative cliffhanger.ย And before long the fanbase turned against the show, all while Gimple insisted that the decisions were smart and good.ย I don't think I even need to go into seasons 7 and 8.ย Pretty much everyone here knows they were bad and knows why they were bad.
"Why do you still watch that show?"ย I'm sure this is a question that every Walking Dead fan has been asked at some point.ย It even popped up on this sub all the time.ย I know I've been asked it by my girlfriend and multiple friends.ย In fact, I don't know a single person who still watches it.ย And throughout the past few seasons, I didn't really know what the answer to that question was.ย Sometimes I would just say "inertia."ย I had been watching for years, I was invested, why stop? It's not like its a huge time commitment.ย But that wasn't really it.ย Sometimes I thought I was just watching to see what disaster would happen next, a kind of case study in how to continually antagonize and alienate your fans.ย But that can only really sustain interest so long.
At some point though I realized what the answer was.ย It was hope.ย Hope because I knew that beneath all the shit there was still a good show somewhere in there.ย And even in the worst stretches there were moments you could see it: Carl's trip to the Sanctuary and interactions with Negan in season 7, or Simon's short lived but wildly entertaining rebellion in season 8.ย I and all the people still watching knew that there was always the possibility the show could

The tenth round of Season 5 has passed! With 54.55%, or 12, of the 22 total votes, Conquer was conquered, making it the fourteenth and penultimate episode of the fifth season to be eliminated!
Now all that remains is a showdown between No Sanctuary and Four Walls and a Roof, two very appreciated episodes of the show. And after all of that is said and done, we move onto Season 6!
Discuss your thoughts: what episode should win? What episode should lose? What episode did you forget even existed? Please remember to follow both the sub rules and basic Reddiquette.
Since you guys liked the Last One Here's episode 2.
Episode 1 - Picking right up where season 1 left off, the survivors find themselves faced with death. The walkers begin to swarm the hotel, tearing down the gates, and their ammunition count is rather scarce. The survivors try and fight off the walkers to real avail. They leave the hotel. There's no defending it. Leaving the car, and their supplies behind. A time jump hits, and we see our survivors had cosied up inside an old warehouse outside of town. Not much happens the rest of the episode. Colt and John discuss what to do if Alex returns. A survivor shows up at the gate, Kevin makes sarcastic remarks, and the group questions him. Colt seems sterner and less willing to take people in after what happened with Alex. Colt now has a girlfriend named Veronica. There's a few new people. Unnamed, background. Expendable.
Episode 2 - Anna seems to have gotten closer to Kevin during the few month time skip. Anna has also created a mural on one of the walls inside of the warehouse to commemorate their group. Colt and John question the man who showed up at the gate. They agree to let him stay, with Colt saying "Everyone deserves a chance - But That doesn't mean I trust him."
Episode 3 - Kevin, Anna, and William leave on a supply run. They stop at a bookstore for Kevin to find some comedic material, Joann fabrics for Anna, and they check the local Walmart just in case they have guns left behind the counter in the sports section. They run into some trouble, walkers attack. They get out, William reveals he was bitten. They leave him as per his request. The episode ends with Veronica discovering a walkie in the new guy's bunk, after bringing him food. with a voice coming over the other end "HAve you infiltrated them yet?" Veronica leaves the room to tell Colt.
Episode 4 - Veronica explains what happened to Colt, Colt tells John, but Colt is too stubborn to believe his girlfriend. Veronica gets into a heated argument, and John goes to talk to the new guy. Anna and Kevin return, they host a eulogy in remembrance of William. And the new man, who still hasn't told them his name, acts like he doesn't know what they're talking about.
Episode 5 - Anna asks Kevin out, Kevin reveals he's gay, and still Still has feelings for a man that conned me out of a credit card once. Don't ask why I fell in love with him, but I did." (Strand anyone?

i recall early seasons the budget was real low despite it being a huge success for AMC, those cheap execs.
It might seem simple, but the inventory system is that game is so innovative compared to almost all other titles Iโve played since I first got a vive in 2016, you can pick up objects and store them on your back. Then if you want to grab something you need to physically reach behind you back and take out your backpack, then you physically search in it and grab what youโre looking for and put your backpack back. If you accentually drop it it goes back behind your shoulder.
Imagine if things like Fallout4VR or SkyrimVR had something similar instead of 2D menus.
Please make this a standard for all future VR games with lots of inventory management

Season 5 Episode 1: Here to Help
Released: May 31, 2019
Synopsis: Lead by Morgan and Alicia, the group lands in uncharted territory in search of survivors to help. But everything is not as it seems in this foreboding new land.
The rules are everyone comments ANY walking dead related question in the comment e.g. "Who's your favourite character?", and I respond normally. It can be as specific or as basic as you want it to be. After I respond to the question, you have to edit your original comment and tailor it around my answer to make the funniest outcome! Have fun everyone :D
(Also comment as many times as you want, I need something to do in quarantine anyway!)
Here are examples of the other times I played with y'all on the sub:
Edit: FUUUUCK. Some people edited their comments so quickly that it looks like that was my legit original answer and it isn't edited. Why me hahaha.
