A list of puns related to "Niche blogging"
So, I think I'll go with a music Blog. And to be precise, I'll be reviewing music from every underrated artists that I know and listen to, on Spotify, YouTube and the likes. The one's people barely know about that I know of, basically (and build from there).
Why? Solely because I absolutely love talking about the music I love with anyone in general. So I figured it won't be very hard writing several articles about them. And trust me, I could go on about them forever if I had the chance. But that's not what's bothering me...
Thing is, as much as I love talking about music, I do want to make a living out of this as well, or at least earn a substantial amount of income from the blog but there are a few things that are concerning me as of now. Some of them being:
β’Is this really a worthwhile sub niche? Will people actually come over to read about artists they've never heard about before?
β’Can I really even build a business out of this, potentially? Will affiliate ads even work? Or ads in general?(I do understand if there's never any traffic, there's no point even mentioning the second point. So back to the first we go)
β’I'm not particularly well versed about copyright regarding music reviews. Will I have any issues regarding that if I wanted to talk about other artists' work?
β’I read quite a fair bit about how the music Blog industry has basically died over the past few years because potential competitors on YouTube and other platforms have taken over it and are actually dominating in the niche. I'd assume that plays huge importance too?
Anyway, the basic bottom line out of all of this is- have I just unknowingly hit a total dead end after wondering about possible niche ideas to get into for this long?
Any replies would be appreciated and y'all on here mean a lot to me. So thanks!
I want to do guest blogging on health niche does anyone has any website who can do this
In my opinion, I feel like something more βadultβ and corporate world appropriate while still being fun is missing.
Most of the fashion bloggers I see are 16-21 and still in school, and just wear skimpy sets (cute of course but even at 25 I feel way too old to dress that way).
Or, itβs professional enough but boring as hell. Audrey Coyne and Dearly Bethany have great styling tips, and are pretty much 100% work appropriate, but they are so boring.
I also feel like medium-sized fashion is lacking too. Plus-sized women are finally being embraced thank god, super-skinny women are still celebrated thank god, but mid-sized βaverageβ women still donβt have much of a platform in my opinion. I did see like... ONE girl on tiktok who is midsized.

Before getting into the topic letβs have a simple overview of the niche and things that might help you.
Niche is simply defined as a category or a particular topic. As per the dictionary meaning, it is referred to as a topic or category that you are comfortable talking about. You need not be an expert in the niche you choose. But once you start writing your blog then that will make you an expert in your niche.

Always start your blog with a micro-specific niche to get a targeted audience to drive traffic to your website. It is not advisable, to begin with, a wide niche because you will be flooded with topics to discuss. This will lead to you talking about the issue in general, which will bore your audience.
Ex: 10 Best foods to lose weight naturally.
Here you are targeting an individual or a specific group of people who are looking for a solution. Here you always have an engaged audience. This will drive your traffic organically.
Once you start with a micro-specific niche, you will have an engaged audience interested in your topic and now you can expand your niche.

I am confused in picking a niche for my blog. I like to read and write satire and I am interested in choosing that as my niche. But I don't know if that niche has enough audience and will sustain my blog.
Do satire blogs which are operated by individuals and not a team get enough audience?
If there are any people who is blogging on this niche please share your experience
I had a blogging niche somewhere in 2012. I made some good money with articles ranking easily even on blogger platform and I knew nothing abouy keyword research that time.
I am now familiar with keyword research. I am working on WordPress with much better Seo friendly themes and content is better, but nothing is ranking anymore.
First page is for big sites, who have not left any long tail keywords and probably spamming in someway by writing a 3000 word article for SEO benefit which can be written in like 500 words.
Is it a bad idea to concentrate on blogging niche now? Anyone started recently in last few months and had any success?
Would love to hear from you.
Edit 1 - I meant 'blogging' as a niche and not in general, sorry about that. Something like shoutmeloud
Hi I have started blogging again after many years. My past blog was focused on a specific topic, although still fairly broad range on what I wrote about within that topic.
My new blog is really, really broad. It's basically life tips (self-improvement, productivity, etc.) and products recommendations.
The wider broad range is what interests me right now in terms of writing, but in terms of attracting readers maybe a niche makes much more sense?
What's been your experience? What are you thoughts on broad vs niche? Thanks!
Before I bite the bullet and start to market myself as a freelance blogger, I'd like to find my niche.
And since I'm a dental assistant by trade, I thought thought I could become some what of an "expert voice" in that niche ( I also have a sibling who's a dentist so thought I could get cutting edge industry info off him.)
But - do dentists really need blogs? Or are static websites/word of mouth referrals enough? Do you guys think they'd be willing to pay for content? And possibly sell products from that content?
I mean, you could google any dental ailment and find it on WebMD, Healthline, Mayo Clinic etc. etc.
Would love to hear if you think I should even go there.
