190217 Red Velvet - REDMARE in Newark, New Jersey Fan Account

Before the Concert

• REDMARE in USA was confirmed last year in earlyish November by Subkulture Entertainment and tickets went on sale on December 15th at 10:00 AM. They announced five stops initially, and the one closest to me was the stop at Newark’s New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
• Being relatively new to buying tickets on Ticketmaster, I had my family assist me in the process -- we had about nine devices set up in total, with each family member managing two or three devices at a time. The waiting room opened about 30 minutes before the tickets officially went on sale, and in the waiting room we were randomly assigned a spot in line. This was probably one of the most hectic ticketing experiences I’ve been through, since around 6 out of 9 of my devices showed a queue of 2000+ people ahead. Only one of my devices actually made it through the queue before every ticket was sold out.
• The Newark stop was the last one and sold out in about 20 minutes, which was pretty impressive. The girls did a great job all around when it came out to selling tickets -- three dates were completely sold out, and an extra day was added to the LA stop. I’m assuming an extra day would have been added to the Newark stop if Redmare in Canada wasn’t happening immediately after.
• I was planning on buying P1 tickets for the Red Velvet show initially for $200 before service fees, etc., but because everything sold out quickly, I ended up scoring P2 tickets for around $173 before fees (they were originally priced at $169, but the prices kept changing due to high demand. After fees, they ended up being $201)
• Our seats were in ORCHL, Row U, which on a map looks like this but in real life looks like this. The venue’s capacity was about 2.8K -- if you’re curious about what the venue looked like, you can find virtual tours here.
• There were no high-touches/photo opportunities for this tour, unfortunately :/

Day of the Concert

• The entire day was unfortunately not dedicated to getting prepared and going to the concert. I had volunteering duties elsewhere for a couple of hours, but I left around 20 minutes early to get prepared. It was a 45 minute drive to the

Offering a free ticket for the P!ATD show tonight in Newark, preferably someone in need/who hasn't seen a show before. You'll need to print it out though! Starts @ 7 with TwoFeet & Betty Who as opening acts. The ticket is for a side stage seat, Section 17/Row 17/Seat 16 and you can see the stage close and clearly!
