A list of puns related to "Navy Expeditionary Combat Command"
I'm hoping someone here can help me out with this:
Originally I was looking at SWCC but after reading through tons of material and having my heart set on it I found out that I'm ineligible. Then I stumbled upon the Navy's Expeditionary Combat Command and through that I found out about the MESF/CRF but the only info I can find is on Wikipedia (I could only find EOD and SWCC on Navy.com).
Can anyone on here give me any additional info on this area of the Navy and how one goes about getting into this unit?
Expeditionary Strike Group 3, or ESG 3, is a realism unit based off the real life Naval Operations group. Our goal here is to create a highly realistic environment that accurately portrays a maritime unit, while still preserving fun. Our unit strives to be the first true naval MILSIM unit in ArmA 3 that does not entirely focus around special operations. In ESG 3, we utilize many aspects of an actual fleet, including Navy divers (Now Recruiting), Sailors, Carrier Air Operations, and much more! Here at ESG 3, even though we consider ourselves a MILSIM unit, understand that real life comes first, and are always willing to work with our members to ensure that they are content and comfortable. Just because we are serious, doesn't mean we do not acknowledge that it is a game. And as a game, it is not worth playing if you are not having fun.
ESG 3 is a coalition member of the 23rd Gaming Division. The 23rd is comprised of different units who are referred to as coalitions. This makes it very easy for us to share resources towards one common goal and makes inter-unit transfers seamless and easy. If you would like to join ESG 3, you will have to apply on the 23rd's website (Coalition leader) and go through there Basic Combat Training and Advanced Infantry Training (About 1 week period, 2 hrs of in-game time). After this, you will be cleared for transfer as an E-2 to ESG 3. You can transfer in as a Sailor (Possibility for Naval Combat Engineering and Combat Diving), or as a Student Pilot (Possibility for rotary wing or fixed wing, dependable on Naval Flight School pipeline).
Requirements: Maturity, TACT, Knowledge, Loyalty, 16+ years old, Working microphone, TeamSpeak 3, and Sense of humour
Assets: Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron, Fixed Wing Squadron (F/A-18) LPD-22 (WIP), Seabee Naval Combat Engineering Det. (WIP) and Navy Combat Diving (Recruiting)
Main mods: RHS Escalation, TFA Uniforms pack CSE, USS Nimitz and ALIVE All other modifications will be available once recruitment papers have been accepted through the 23rd's modpack repository.
Find us at the coalition's website at www.23rd-div.com or, at our direct unit website at www.esg3.us. You can equally contact us through the coalition's Teamspeak, just look for a member with [ESG3] tags (ts.23rd-div.com).

If Regimental Combat Team were to exist in modern times for army, would it be the equivalent of a Marine Expeditionary Unit? And does that mean a Marine Expeditionary Brigade is an equivalent of a Brigade Combat Team?
Extra question* I heard that Battalions make up the GCE component of a Marine Expeditionary Unit if that's the case, what about the other Battalions that aren't part of MEUs? For example there's about 9+ Marine regiments each having like 3 or 4 battalions so like 27 or 36 battalions, but if there's only 7 MEUs what about the other 20 to 29 battalions that aren't part of MEUs?
