A list of puns related to "National Assessment and Accreditation Council"
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is scheduled for a virtual assessment as part of a program to achieve accreditation by verifying that they meet professional standards.
Administered by the Commission Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state of the art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services.
As part of the assessment, agency personnel and members of the community are invited to offer comments at a public information session on Monday October 25, 2021 at 5:00pm. The session will be held in Room 224-Center Tower at the City-County Building located at 200 East Washington Street. Due to the current order by the Marion County Superior Courts, masks are required to be worn in the City-County Building.
If for some reason an individual cannot speak at the public information session but would still like to provide comments to the assessment team, he/she may do so by telephone. The public may call 317-327-1358 on Monday October 25, 2021 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Telephone comments, as well as appearances at the public information session, are limited to 5 minutes and must address IMPDโs ability to comply with CALEA Standards. A copy of the standards is available at the Indianapolis City-County Building. To inquire about specific standards, please contact Sergeant Sara Lamkin at 317-327-3790. Persons wishing to offer written comments about IMPDโs ability to meet the standards for accreditation are requested to write: Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement, Inc. (CALEAยฎ), 13575 Heathcote Boulevard, Suite 320 Gainesville, Virginia 20155.
In order to achieve accredited status, IMPD must meet or exceed 178 CALEA Standards. Accreditation is for four years, during which the agency must submit annual reports attesting to continued compliance with those standards under which it was initially accredited.
For more information regarding the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. please write the Commission at 13575 Heathcote Boulevard, Suite 320 Gainesville, Virginia 20155; or call (703) 352-4225 or email calea@calea.org.

With all of the recent turmoil in the sbc wondering if yโall think itโs a good idea to join now. I didnโt grow up sbc so Iโm not tied to the denomination. Just feeling a lot of pressure to join to get funding.

Refuge and domestic abuse service Rise had its money pulled after 26 years. This is a good news, government funded services should serve all victims regardless of their gender, racial, religious identity. but the article treat it as something negative !
>Campaigners fear the decision will be echoed across the country, putting many womenโs refuges at risk of closure.
>
>Womenโs Aid boss Nicki Norman, said: โWe are deeply concerned.
>
>โWe are at serious risk of losing our network of refuges run by women for women.โ
Guess what ? the KKK were very concerned during the civil rights movement. so what ? the media should focus on the victims of discrimination (male victims) not the people who are violating civil rights and treating them as if they are the victims !
>Studies have found 91 per cent of domestic abuse is against women, who are much more likely to be seriously hurt or killed than male victims.
What ?! this is nonsense. only a bigot believe that 91% of domestic abuse is against women ! they didn't even link the study ! i guess they are talking about police reporting. men are less likely to report their abuse and the lack of services is one of the reasons.
