Hey y'all-
I love reading all your posts but don't usually share much myself, so hello! I'm a Nashville native, multimedia artist making my first feature film called Sunshine Girls. Its a sci-fi, dark comedy with a love story at it's center. It's conceptually similar to shows like The Twilight Zone and Black Mirror, but with the sort of campy style and offbeat humor of something like Edward Scissorhands.
A large part of independent film success is building your social media audience (I know, I know) so I wanted to invite you nice folks to follow our Instagram and Facebook pages. I'm not asking for money or anything, I'd just love the support of my fellow Nashvillians cheering us on! We're a largely female/LGBTQ project which is rare in the film industry, so we'd appreciate the love. Someone out there has to know this answer! It was at least 5-7 years ago that I saw this really cool indie flick about a young guy from a Spanish speaking country trying to make his way as a musician in Nashville. Some of the movie was subtitled in Spanish, but not all of it. I believe he also ended up in Nasvhville for a girl too. Google is no help. Can you help Reddit?
