A list of puns related to "NSW TrainLink D set"
These are the questions that keep me up at night.
I took the XPT when I was younger, it was rubbish. Recently I've been watching train journey videos on YouTube and the XPT looks worse now than 10 years ago.
Would we have a nicer train if both Victoria and NSW chipped in?
I'm also familiar with the 'new' CAF Civity fleet. They are the 'old' trains in the part of the world I live in now and they're not very special.
Either way, we should build a wall and make Victoria pay for it. This never would have happened if NSW was still running all of Eastern Australia #takemeback.
Edit:stand down people, turns out Victoria does pay. Though I'm having difficulty in finding hard information, other than a line in Wikipedia.

Iβve taken the Murrays bus a few times from Sydney Central to Canberra (and the other way). I have to do Sydney-Canberra (I meant from SydneyΒ in the title) next month, and found the train price was similar (roughly about $50).
Wondering if itβs: comfortable, on time, noisy. That sort of thing.
Iβve only taken the Sydney local trains, Sydney-Newcastle, and Melbourne train to the suburbs.
Advantage: try something new, and be able to walk around during the trip.
Daytime trip. Hand luggage. It stops in Kingston, which is fine with me.
TIA.
