The Timeless History of Hip-Hop
Hey everyone, I just started a hip-hop blog today and my first post is an introduction to the Monsta Island Czars. I tried to dive deep for this one, if you check it out I almost guarantee you'll learn something new about the Czars. In addition, one of the albums that is posted is the 2001 MIC bootleg called The Next 1,000 Years, which I don't think has been posted anywhere except for my YouTube channel (The link is in my first blog post). Please check it out and feel free to subscribe (not purely trying to promote, I genuinely think I can provide interesting insights to the Czars, and I plan on posting about DOOM and Grimm as well as many others). Feel free to leave any feedback but it is just a rough draft sort of, as I put it all together today. I hope you guys enjoy it!!
Listening to DOOM podcast releases today and Adult Swim producer talked about Monsta Island Czars and I was amazed I never heard of before and thought I knew a thing but had not. Itβs good and definitely has some DOOM beats and style/actual lyrics but didnβt see credits on their lone streaming album.
I found a copy for β¬50 some days ago, but of course that sold out instantly. The other ones on Discogs and Ebay are being sold for 10 times the usual amount. Does anyone know some other good sites for records besides Discogs and Ebay?
It's the last album I need to complete my collection, so I really want to get it. I know eventually the price will lower again. It's just people trying to profit from his death right now and tricking you into fear buying.

I recently downloaded Escape from Monsta Island and loved it. After some internet research I was unable to find whether they are still a group or even the individual members solo projects (Besides MF Doom). I am just looking for some solid information!
