Shinn could only stare in both horror and amazement as dozens of Mobile Suits who were moving at fast speeds were instantly shot down and exploded right before his very eyes.
Standing right there at the centre of the mass destruction was a Mobile Suit that had once fought for the freedom of others, reborn in the vision of a mass murderer. Its new form form simply did nothing more than kill and destroy everything in its way as it glared down on the remaining pile of scraps with its menacing golden eyes. The Mobile Suit, ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam.
"H-He killed them...!" Thought Shinn. "He really did kill them!"
Shinn did not expect that he would do such a thing. Was everything that knew about that person before was just a simple illusion? A mere lie? Was he really nothing more than a murderer that took away his family's life?
Whatever the case may be, he simply just can't stand around doing nothing. There's only way one to get his answer. He tightened his grip onto the controls and took a deep breath.
The Destiny's Wings of Light shone brightly throughout the battlefield as the firmly-resolved Shinn flew towards one of the people responsible for this final battle; Kira Yamato.
Shinn equipped the beam rifle and shot a single yet powerful beam at the Strike Freedom
As if reacting at the speed of light, the Strike Freedom activated its left hand beam shield and blocked the attack.
The Destiny came to a full stop. Shinn shouted at him, "Kira Yamato!"
"Oh," the voice that responded back was completely devoid of any life, a voice that's as cold a corpse could be. However, it undoubtedly belonged to the person that could have piloted that machine, Kira Yamato, "Shinn, huh? You joined Orb, huh?"
"That's right! What about you?! Why the hell did you join Chairman Durandal?! Explain yourself!"
"Explain? Very well. I'm doing this to save everyone."
"'Save'?"
"That's right. And I'm using the Messiah to achieve that goal."
"Huh?! You're not making any sense!"
He merely smirked at the reply, "Then, I'll explain it to you." The two distanced themselves from each other. "I-"
A sudden shout suddenly stopped Kira. "Kira Yamato!"
The two turned to see a Mobile Suit from Orb, the MVF-M11C Murasame. The same voice spoke again from within the Mobile Suit, "Kira Yamato! I have come here to talk to you!"
"Talk to me?" Asked Kira.
"Yes!" The man answered. "I came here to thank you."
